I liked the complimentary coffee and the Front Desk attendant who actually acknowledged the issues I had after advising for a second time.
When I check in my room I had a broken chair. I battled ants for my whole stay. I could not leave a cup of coffee on a desk or counter for 5 minutes without attracting LOTS of ants. They were also in my BED! My Dishwasher was leaking and I wasn't even using it. I did advise the Counter attendant of my issues early into my stay. They said they would have someone come and check for the ants (which never happened). And gave no resolution for the other issues. It was not until I was checking out and a different counter attendant had asked about my stay did I mention it again. The attendant apologized for the inconvenience and tried to make amends for the dissatisfaction.
Beds were comfy and no carpet.
Lighting was not sufficient. Kitchen outdated
It had air conditioning
I was not told about the 8 dollars a day parking until after I checked out.
This was a great location for us because it is close to all the places we frequent while in SD.
Really there was not anything that we did not already anticipate from past stays. It is not the Ritz. No daily housekeeping. If you are looking for good value this is it.
