Pros: comfort, service, location, food, swimming pool,
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful comfortable peaceful hotel with fabulous facilities which maintains a real family run feel. All the staff were so thoughtful and welcoming.
Cons: Nothing.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We spent the last two nights of a road trip through Italy and Switzerland here. All the staff were really amazing and accommodated all wishes. There was a wide choice for breakfast with good food. Dinner was especially lovely, with great food and good wines. On the second night we chose to have a more relaxed dinner in the lounge area and we ended up having a very private dining experience with excellent service and equally lovely food. I don't remember ever having had such gorgeous soup.
Cons: On Saturday night there was a private function. No matter the hotel or location this always somewhat detracts from the enjoyment of other guests in a hotel due to closing off or taking over of the common areas and inevitable late night noise. The hotel staff dealt with this as best they could. It would be better if small and beautiful hotels like these require large parties to make a private booking of the entire hotel for such occasions.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is newly renovated and really beautiful. The owner, Mrs. Walther greeted us at the entrance and also wished us a good trip after checking-out. It's a very well run family business. Everything there is perfect!
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay at the Hotel Walther was simply terrific; it is posh and lovely, and everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. We felt very welcomed by all staff from the moment of our arrival, and that the owners made a special point of greeting us, and sharing their time with us, that is truly special. We dined at 3 of their restaurants and all were among the finest of our travels in Switzerland. The spa, pool, and saunas are lovely. Gardens lovely. We would love to and hope to return in the future.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: extremely pet friendly, we found in the room bowls with our dogs name on it every single detail impeccable service even tourist information with Engadine card to maker journey easier super good food
9,6 Excellent
Pros: One of the best places to stay in Engadine (not only in Potresina! :-)) They do care about the guests, everything around is about to make your visit as great as possible. I arrived with kind of broken car but they made me to feel a bit better immediately by showing the kindness and care. Excellent breakfast, wonderful cocktails from Gody :-), friendly receptionists, incredible cleanliness everywhere. And a good bed. Special "thank you" to Slavka and Sabine .. and my best regard to the owners. I will come back. Thank you.
Cons: I cant think about anything ... maybe (just for fun) .. lets try to mix red and green apples, it will have a special pattern :-)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The property itself. The room and the excellent service they provide to their customers.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Immaculate hotel whose owners pay attention to the small details. They anticipate and provide for your every need and offer exceptional service and personal attention
Cons: Soft pillows but firmer pillows were offered and I didn’t take advantage

Cons: Its was all good
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Top class place - one of the best hotels we have stayed in recent years (and we travel a lot!); excellent quality room (only the best materials, fittings, furniture, linen etc. have been used - real Swiss quality!!). Quiet location in a down-to-earth town
Cons: The concept of serving breakfast in the room I did not like too much - I prefer a breakfast room; however - quality was super

Hotel Donatz - Samedan - Building

9,5 Excellent (469 reviews)

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Donatz in Samedan, you'll be next to a golf course, within a 10-minute drive of Lake St. Moritz and Engadin. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, luggage storage, and laundry facilities.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so lovely & helpful. The transport cards & mineral bath being included in the price is great value. Very clean, easy to access, good breakfast.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Bed plus view from the room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: When it comes to Hotel Donatz, my boyfriend and me love everything. We have visited different hotels in the area within the last 3 years. Hotel Donatz beats them all...:-). We particularly like the friendly and attentive staff: the hotel is run by the family Donatz. While Ms Donatz welcomed us at the reception and showed us to our room, Mr Donatz himself was serving us in the restaurant "La Padella" in the evening (try their bear leek cappucino soup and their Capuns - it was yummy). We loved the cozy, homey and spacious room with "Arvenholz" furniture and the amazingly comfortable beds with super soft cussions. We also loved the breakfast buffet with many fresh and healthy sorts of bread, fruits and cereals and good fresh coffee (no self-service machine!). The hotel even allowed us to late check-out because they didn't need the room the next night! To sum up: it's no wonder that they have an amazing ranking. They really deserve it :-)
Cons: Considering that it is a 3 superior hotel, Donatz really doesn't need to improve anything.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, good parking, helpful people
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Went for a long ski weekend. Loved this hotel. Everything is well thought out - parking, place for skis with boot driers, layout of the room, etc. you get free access to the thermal baths down the street, which is great. The breakfast was great, as was the restaurant for dinner. Liked the wine bar too. We will definitely return.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast, and dinner was good. Ownershipbvery friendly and helpful. Old fashioned quality of service that sadly is disappearing from a lot of Swiss hotels. Some nice touches like permit for unlimited parking in the municipal parking spaces, free public transport use, free usecif the local spa. Good wine list in the restaurant and wine bar, which is open decent hours.
Cons: I cannot think of anything that was not to like.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a great location in the village. Very quiet rooms with beautiful views over the mountains. The hotel provides transport passes for the region, which include the trains, buses, cable cars and funiculars. Also free entry throughout the stay to the wonderful Samedan baths, just a few minutes walk from the hotel. Excellent breakfast with a great selection of breads and fresh fruit.
Cons: The only negative point is that there is no lounge at the hotel or anywhere to sit and have a tea or coffee when you return from a day in the mountains. Samedan is a very quiet village with very few cafes or restaurants, so would be a big plus if the hotel would provide tea/coffee facilities.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice, well run hotel in the centre of a small traditional village. Short distance to the railway station, few steps to the bus stop (to St. Moritz, Sils). Great, that the guests have an option using the magic mineral spa, also few steps away. Tasty pizza in the hotel Bernina, also in the neighbourhood.
7,1 Good
Pros: High quality fixtures and fittings, very comfortable bed and quiet location despite being in the middle of town.
Cons: Internal noise from doors & floors above. Limited breakfast options. Expensive. I also ate in the restaurant and this was extortionate. I asked for tap water and my bill said ‘Burgwasser’ (mountain water=tap water) yet I was charged 4.50chf for it. Despite complaining, I sill had to pay. Rip off. The hotel has no fans, and despite the elevation it still gets warm in the summer. ‘Open a window’ may work for some people, but for me it’s not an option.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The aerea and the atmosphere in the hotel.
Cons: The room was too hot!

Pros: Absolutely everything!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! From the moment of arrival until departure, PERFECT!!!!!
2,5 Mediocre
Cons: Something almost unbelievable happend to me in this “Grand” Hotel. I decided to go spend two nights there last minute since my favourite hotel the Badrutts Palace was still closed at this time of the year and I hadn’t been at the Kronenhof for a long time and wanted to see how I would like after all those years. I called their reservation department hoping to get a more advantageous deal than online. I asked the lady if I booked directly with them she would be so kind to give me an upgrade from a deluxe single to a deluxe double room for single use, same room just a bit bigger. Her answer was “no I cannot do that that’s a five time upgrade” in a bit mocking way. I told her that logically this was just a normal upgrade but she kept insisting it was a five time upgrade, I tried to reason her but there was no way, so I gave up on this, which was really a pity because both of us knew that this was really the lowest season of the year and giving me that upgrade last minute wouldn’t have cause no trouble at all for her. Then I asked her if she would be willing to give me a better deal than online, she have me a 8€ discount per night if I would book with them directly. I thought it was a joke so I told her I knew that if I’d book online they would have to pay around 15% to the online booking company and asked her if she could give me that discount instead of paying it to that company. Her answer “No I’m sorry”. Ok so I told her that in that case I’d prefer to book online because it gives me certain advantages and is much easier to do, just click a button and everything is set, especially since I was driving at that moment. She said a bit arrogantly “ok you can do that bye bye”. That was already all a very disappointing experience, but wait, the best is coming now, and you won’t believe it. A couple of minutes later I went back to the online booking company and wanted to reserve the deluxe room which I had been looking at since a couple of days already and... it was gone!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities, the staff, the SPA area and the food. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until we left. All of the staff were brilliant but we would particularly like to mention Angel ( our funny reception contact for most things ), Roman ( our photographer ) and Nikita ( who was particularly helpful on the first day ). We took advantage of the half board offer which was excellent value and we did a meal swap with the Hotel Kulm which was good. As with all hotels and organizations, it is the staff that create the ambience and culture that makes the whole experience come together - Hotel Kronenof do this to perfection and made the `` funny English couple`` very happy. We will definitely be back and recommending the hotel to our friends. We have stayed at many top class hotels throughout the world but this is the best. Thank you Kronenof - see you soon !!!
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: - Great service - Dinner (half board) was exquisite - Amazing view from the spa - Comfortable bed - Beautiful dining/breakfast room
Cons: - Shower (in the room) was fairly small - Kids were playing around in the jacuzzi and no reaction from the staff - Not enough sunbeds in the spa (all were taken)
5,0 Okay
Pros: The pool is nice
Cons: The service is not great. I had issues when checking-in (no doorman to pick up the bags), and the process took longer than necessary.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: this hotel is off rte charts. beautiful, luxurious and the giant spa was like nothing i've ever seen in my life. i recommend paying for the included breakfast deal.. which was also better than any meal i had in switzerland.
Cons: there's not one thing bad about this place or even mediocre. perfect.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is simply wonderful. The staff is excellent, the location is a dream and what I loved the most about our stay was the attention to detail. Everything was beautifully done and organized. The food was also delicious. We will be heading back to this gem of a hotel very soon. It is an amazing place!
Cons: One very small remark: when the Head waiter was present at the hotel's restaurant everything ran very smoothly and to perfection(breakfast/dinner). When he was not there, one could tell the difference.

Pros: Excellent breakfast choices and service. Overall atmosphere and location, if you want calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Cons: Food served in the lobby restaurant, don;t remember the name could be better. Ordered club sandwich was bit surpised as the toast was literally black ( burned). Did not complain, which i should have anyhow, but now i did. As you don't expect this quality. Even the wagyu burger was served with hardly any dressing ...

Cons: They made me wait long time to pick me up at train station, send me a old trolley and then they charged me for the ride! I would preffer take a taxi for my own (i paid and do not wait) Concierge looks very stresfull and do not give proper information. Maybe i stayed ina a very busy weekend, but when you choose these type of hotels you expect more! Bedroom too small.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Without doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The breakfast is a breakfast to be enjoyed - I have stayed in many hotels all over the world and this is without doubt the best breakfast I have ever had! The facilities and staff are excellent, and in particular the staff are very helpful and friendly. There are no extra charges for lift passes, bikes (electric & normal), tennis courts etc. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I will hopefully return again - this hotel sets the benchmark that other hotels need to strive to achieve. Excellent.
Cons: Leaving - I wanted to stay longer:)

10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a Junior Suite in the Middle Wing with an absolutely magnificent 180° view of the lake and mountains. Opening the curtains in the morning is a magical experience to be savored in a fluffy bathrobe with a ‘cuppa tea’ in hand. The walk-in closet, elegant bathroom with his/hers vanities & the luxurious bed are the standout features in a beautifully-designed suite where traditional Swiss accents blend perfectly into contemporary sophistication. I recommend breakfast in the Grand Restaurant. The selection of fresh fruit & cereals is unsurpassed. And of course, all the traditional breakfast items are available. It’s a sumptuous feast. You’ll feel immersed in a feeling of old world charm & finesse. Our Maître D' Enzo & his team were exceptional. The Kulm Spa is also one-of-a-kind. All guests have access to the heated outdoor & indoor pools, saunas & jacuzzi. The outdoor pool is heated to a comfy 34.4° and offers a wonderful view. But, the selection of Saunas is the real treat. Spend 15 mins in the Salt Water Steam Grotto and feel revived! The Spa treatments are also out-of-this-world. The Spa Manager Daria & her team will help you find the right healing indulgence for you. If you’re arriving by train then Michael, Pacio or any member of the resourceful Concierge team will arrange a complimentary pick-up. You will also receive a complimentary travel card upon check-in. A visit to Piz Nair on the cable car is an absolutely must. The vistas of the Engadine will (literally & figuratively) take your breath away... The Kulm Hotel is “refinement” personified, thanks to the passion & pride with which each member of staff attends to their duties. When I see people who love what they do, I find it inspiring. And that, in a word, sums up my experience of hospitality at the 150 year old Kulm Hotel St. Moritz - “inspiring”.

Pros: Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable rooms, good value for money
Cons: Nothing
7,5 Good
Pros: The room was great, as was the breakfast, and if in Pontresina again we might re-book on a B&B basis. The location is very central, close to the shops and to the chair lift. The speed and friendliness of the check-in was exceptional.
Cons: The half-board option was disappointing. one gets used to Switzerland being expensive, but 3CHF for tap water? And 7.50 CHF for a bottle of mineral water? The kitchens appeared understaffed, as the wait between courses was excessive - clearly to the agitation of other diners as well as ourselves. And lastly, in our younger days, the quantities would have been seriously small, not what one needs after a good walk in the mountains.
5,8 Okay
Cons: A room called ‘deluxe’ is actually with a bathroom from 1980ies - smelly carpets and all that... Book ‘premium’ room - those are apparently renovated / same price approximately
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the spa - which was wonderful.
Cons: I had asked for 'lactose free' bread which a local bakery could have supplied but this request did not seem to register. Lack of parking at the hotel was not very convenient.

Pros: Everything was perfect.
Cons: Nothing.I don't speek good english.Sorry

Cons: Just missing tea/coffee making facilities.

Pros: Yes very staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice little perks like hiking poles, a backpack and umbrellas. Super nice pool and top notch sauna. I’ve paid 25€ to go in saunas that were this nice. Really great value for the money.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We booked an upgraded room with a view. Room was in the Residence side of the hotel and was very large with a big balcony with 2 comfortable deck chairs and a truncated view of the mountains . The weather was warm and it was nice to sit out there with a glass of wine. Breakfast was very nice with lots of choices. Hotel will pick you up from the train station and give you a local bus pass - stop is just down the street. Hotel is on the main street with plenty of restaurants etc. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Cons: Hotel restaurant dinner menu was limited - wished we could have eaten there...

Cons: Rather expensive, but location to die for! Everything else good.

Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Toilet and shower had glass doors! No privacy!!!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Like the rest of the hotel, the restaurant had understated elegance and a sensational view. The food was very good and the staff friendly and efficient.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location. It was wonderful to wake up and see the view across the clouds in the valley.
Cons: The shower and toilet opened onto the room which would have been fine for a couple but my teenage daughter didn't want that sort of initmacy with her parents.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location is beyond compare. It is incredibly quiet and peaceful at the top of the mountain. The rooms are very nicely decorated. The views are stunning.
Cons: The pillow was not good and there didn't appear to be controllable air conditioning, which meant either leaving the window open or suffering extremely dry air.
7,5 Good
Pros: The location is great! The view is stunning. Restaurant was good but overpriced.
Cons: There is no place to sit inside in order to relax and have coffee. I would expect a comfortable lounge. The overall price is very high. I would just visit, have a snack and leave. There is not nuch to do.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular location, clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is excellent. The alpine trails are well signposted with the approximate duration to each destination included on the signage. The funicular service runs twice per hour and the hotel provide funicular passes within the price.
Cons: No direct train from St. Moritz. You will need to change at Samedan for Punt Muragl if you wish to take the train. However there is a direct bus transfer from St. Moritz.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location wonderful, staff was very friendly and helpful. They packed us a wonderful lunch because on day we had to leave for the Glacier Express we didn't have time for breakfast at the hotel.
Cons: All was good....
10,0 Excellent
Pros: After visiting this hotel last time more than ten years before, we all were lucky to find that one more time this place exceeded our hopes. This really is a fantastic place to combine cross country ski training and relaxing. Also special thanks to the restaurant - absolutely delicious dinners.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Clean, good comfortable furnishings and fittings. Efficient shuttle service. Artentive staff.
Cons: Only a very small detail: the display and computer system on the rowing machine in the gym did not work. Hence I could not use it properly..
4,6 Okay
Cons: Old rooms, unfriendly staff, not professional
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very caring and friendly. Unfortunately we arrived late and had to leave early so didn’t get to enjoy the facilities.
Cons: They asked for a booking voucher, but there wasn’t one to give them. Eventually they settled for the booking confirmation email.
5,8 Okay
Cons: Racial discrimination--They have separated the breakfast dining area and have people segregated by race. I as an Asian was not allowed to sit in the area where white people sit and instructed to sit with a group of other Asian tourist groups.. I was very shocked and disappointed with such mistreatment at the Switzerland where is known for the human welfare policy. My first visit to Switalzerland was unforgettable with this bad experience.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good communications and information pre-arrival. The hotel helped arrange a taxi from the train station as I was arriving late. Without luggage, it would have been a short easy walk via escalators and lifts uphill from train station to hotel. Good location. My room was fairly big with a large bed with comfortable bedding, a little seating area, loads of storage, and a big bathroom. I had a nice view from the room. Good amenities and toiletries in the room, including a nice fluffy robe and slippers. Really nice breakfast selection. I stopped in the hotel bar both nights of my stay - reasonably priced drinks and friendly bartender staff.
Cons: I wish I had more time in St. Moritz as I did not have a chance to take advantage of the spa facilities in the hotel during my staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Gotten free upgrade rooms. The staffs were very attentive. Excellent service. The lady in charge of spa area explained to us attractive activities of St moritz and she even accede to our request to open the jaguzzi area for us at 6am. It was supposed to open at 9am. We made such request at about 8pm the day before. The view from spa area was awesome. It was facing St moritz lake and mountain. Breakfast was OK. Free shuttle from train station.

Pros: Location, staff. Great interaction with the staff, extremely helpful and unfailingly pleasant to deal with!
Cons: Pillows too soft
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very attentive staff - well trained and professional

Pros: The staff were wonderful and so accommodating! Upgraded our room for free and let us have a late checkout to use the spa facilities. Great breakfast and transfer service!

7,5 Good
Pros: View, lobby was comfortable, staff was good
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second visit to the Carlton but pure luxury and service - love the location and views of St Moritz and the lake ... although the price is on the higher side ~ we felt we received up and beyond the highest level of service and amenities!! Top notch ... would love to go back!!
6,3 Good
Pros: The building is beautiful and the interior matching the atmosphere
Cons: I would say staff need to be equally attentive to customers who are not “famous”. Also, when we arrived the bathroom in our suite was not spotlessly clean as we found hair in the shower. Receptionist didn’t really seem to bother. Unacceptable for any hotel, not to mention in that kind of establishment. In general, if you are not a famous billionaire and you can still easily afford to stay in a place like this, choose a different one.
Overview Reviews
Giardino Mountain couldn't exist anywhere but Champfèr, the Swiss Alpine village a five-minute stroll away from St. Moritz. From the hotel's exclusive mountain lounge, which offers views some 2,128 meters above sea level, to the inspiring sgraffito by local artist Steivan Könz, the hotel has been renovated and designed with an innate respect for its mountain setting. Hands-on hoteliers Daniela and Philippe Frutiger used local stone and fine parquets throughout the hotel, which was restored and remodeled to provide soul-nourishing spaces, including a tranquil, state-of-the-art wellness spa. Earthy tones give the 78 rooms and suites a feeling of warmth and coziness. In the restaurants, one of which is run by Rolf Fliegauf, regional products are combined with flair and imagination. The hotel's ethos is to offer a relaxed atmosphere with attentive service. And thanks to the point-to-point connections offered by Giardino Group's private airline, this often begins before check-in.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Nicely designed hotel, smart and convenient design of the rooms (apparently, the smallest rooms are not too spacious, but if you can afford staying in the larger room, it pays you back). the staff is friendly and helpful and tries to make your stay perfect. tasty breakfasts, inventive cuisine in Hide&Seek (we missed visiting Ecco, since it was still the beginning of the season and it was closed).
Cons: there were two single beds instead of a double one in the room, we stayed, and two separate sets of mattresses and blankets. the rest was absolutely fine
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, breakfast amazing. Loved the open fireplace.
Cons: Beds could have been more comfortable. Very pricey.

Pros: Nice property small rooms for the price good breakfast
Cons: Not a good value for money

Pros: I have stayed 3 times at this hotel, every time I have the best time. Staff were very helpful and friendly. the rooms were clean. the service at lounge and restaurants was amazing. Will back soon for sure.
Cons: -
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The decor was very elegant and classic. We also loved the spa area. The breakfast spread was also excellent! But the best part was the free mountain passes that came with our stay because we could explore the surrounding areas with them and we really enjoyed the spectacular views. Thanks also to Konstantine who recommended Piz Nair to us at breakfast!
Cons: Nothing!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: - the location is somewhat off the Dorf, but since the hotel stay includes public transportation (which is excellent) this is hardly an issue- it rather guarantees a certain silence (that we did enjoy). It is still very close to the SignalBahn e.g. - the breakfast buffet is simply excellent! - staff is very very friendly!
Cons: - the check-in process seemed more cumbersome than in hotels of the next lower category. This may be due to an extra effort, for the extra star, for an extra customized welcome!? (we felt a bit like small children being taken by the hand, but other guests may totally appreciate that layer of special customer focus) - our Internet access did not work as advertised (room number + checkin name) during the entire stay, so for every device that we wanted to add we had to see the reception again for them to enter a voucher code as workaround. One morning the access wouldn't work at all- apparently due to a server outage (due to weather conditions!?)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful Staff - over the top! Wonderful breakfast.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We were surprised to be upgraded to a junior suite complete with kitchenette. Breakfast was generally excellent (other than mentioned below). Very helpful concierge and reception staff.
Cons: Ordered poached eggs for both myself and my wife at breakfast - only one arrived and it was cold! Wanted to make a cup of tea with milk in our kitchenette, but for black teas or milk we were told we had to order room service. We bought our own milk and tea. Despite having a cooktop, we could not use it as we were not allowed any pots or pans in the room. Rather made the kitchenette superfluous.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Modern hotel, nice comfortable rooms & helpful stuff. SPA facilities were really good and i enjoyed my time there.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Amazing experience!!! Super friendly staff, spacious room (great for all ski / snowboard gears), clean, lovely bath and shower, rich and delicious breakfast. Great location as it is close to the bus station (to corvacha, St Moritz Bad and Celerina, ski rental shop, ski lift and beside incredible Ovevara Spa!!! The access to the Spa was our favourite benefit, we loved it :) Great after a day skiing. We also liked the fact the offered discounted ski passes. Thanks to the lovely staff that made our stay even better. We look forward to return next year.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff and restaurant, good breakfast, excellent coffee
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in Sankt Moritz Bad, which is about 25 minutes walk from the main village. Yet the area around the hotel is quite busy. The bus stop and the Signal gondola station are both a few minutes walk from the hotel. Cross county ski tracks start in front of the hotel. The breakfast is abundant, with several choices of eggs and pancakes which they cook on demand. Free access to the Ovavera spa is a real treat, we visited it every other day to recover after skiing. You can buy a ski pass at the reception for only 38CHF per day. The duration should be the same as your stay, but even if you do not plan to ski every day, that’s still a bargain compared to the price one has to pay at the ski lifts. A big supermarket is on the way to the main village, about 15 minutes walk. We had dinner at the hotel once, the food was good quality, but nothing to write home about. The staff is very helpful. Fresh fruit and Nespresso capsules were replenished every day. The bed is very comfortable, but the down duvets are too warm for me. We were given an upgrade for a bigger room at no charge
Cons: The ski room is quite small, there’re no personal lockers. On the last day someone stole my boyfriend’s plastic slippers from the ski room. Free parking places around the hotel are very few, but there’s a public parking on the side and the hotel can provide a garage for 20CHF per day

Pros: Was ok
Cons: Rooms were not high enough as standards for The price we were charged

Pros: Fantastic, quiet location- 200m from the telecabine, 150m from Ovaverva spa, pool and fitness centre. Amazing deal on Ski Pass and free entry to Ovaverva! The bus stop outside will take you to Corvatsch, take the Hahnensee slope back to the Hotel and from St Moritz pistes, ski back to Signal telecabine across the road. Rooms were serviced twice daily and staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Pros: Venerable old and elegant, but not overly stuffy hotel in beautiful surroundings. Close to bus stop and train station. Beautiful Beaux Arts hall. Spa and pool, but didn't have time to check out. Very friendly and helpful staff, gave me a tour after check-in. Very good value for money, at least for Swiss standards.

Pros: Fantastic huge Spa facilities, sauna and pool, a great place to relax after a day on the slopes. The Cresta is old style in perfect condition. Tea is served in the great room in the afternoon, and the complementary cakes are very tasty. The friendly and very professional staff made us feel like special VIP guests.
Cons: We booked the Cresta last minute, and we got a relatively good deal. However, our room was very, very small, and the bathroom did not meet the standard of this otherwise grand hotel.
