The hotel was clearly a bit run down. Lights in the room were on long, jury-rigged extension cords to allow a TV, microwave, and fridge in the room. The wall safe was non-functional. Pros (+) Really lovely people running this hotel. I sat at the bar one night - obscenely beautiful view, with Downtown Charlotte Amelie and its lights. Staff is friendly and helpful, calling cabs and making menu item suggestions. Definitely eat at least one meal in the fantastic dining room - the scenery unparalleled.

Pros (+) All the employees where extremely attentive, the room was very comfortable, beautiful views, the pool area was great, the restaurant served delicious food.
Cons (-) Location, although you get to enjoy beautiful views in order to move around is best to rent a motorcycle or car.
