7,5 Good
Pros: Helpful staff and good location - the hotel was within easy walking distance (10-15 minutes) of both the centre of St Helier and the bus station. We chose not to hire a car so this made exploring the island easier. The pool was lovely and there was a good breakfast on offer each morning,
Cons: There were only 4 deck chairs available at the pool. The bathroom in our room could have done with some updating - the towel rail was loose on the wall and the shower screen leaked water over the floor every morning.
7,5 Good
Pros: There is a lovely pool area and a gym available for use. The room was spatious and clean.
Cons: The bedroom had no air conditioning or a fan, which in the hot weather made sleeping very uncomfortable. We were promised a double bed but were given a room with two singles.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, very smart very welcoming, great food and great staff
Cons: Location was not ideal, mainly in terms of distance from town centre, but equally was only a short walk away so didn’t detract much

Pros: The staff were very attentive and there was a good choice of gins at the hotel bar. Jazz band some evenings who were very good.

Pros: The room was fabulous and was spacious, also with a balcony. All staff were courteous and in particular we enjoyed the Sirocco restaurant. There was a pool downstairs but we didn’t use this facility. The choice of bars was amazing and catered with a range of atmospheres. This is out second visit with six weeks and cannot wait to visit again.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness, well mannered professional staff, beautiful big rooms
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great Breakfast with attention to detail on eggs cooked to order
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, friendly staff and plenty of choice with regards to food and drink. Spa is great....only minor points 1) photos a bit deceptive as hotel is not right on a marina but set back across two roads 2) Hotel is right next to a busy inner town road 3) front of hotel gets a little noisy at night due to the popular hotel bars and restaurant. This is a great place and I would describe it as a city type hotel with all the pluses and minuses that come that type of location. If you dont mind noise and a busy night life stay on the front. If you want it a little quieter of a night time ask for side / rear rooms.

Pros: The spa was really nice recently refurbished , the staff were also really helpful.

Pros: Excellent breakfast with a good selection of hot and cold food. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service into St. Helier which is very useful. Very friendly staff.

Pros: The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly
Cons: There was no fridge in the room. Most hotels I've stayed in over the last few years have provided courtsey bottled water in the room.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were super friendly and helpful with any quires I had. Food was great and breakfast was always stocked up with fresh stuff. Pool was fab and your given a towel as you enter. Had a massage there to the ladies are really nice and was really relaxing and she fixed my back she was excellent. In great location bus stops right outside the hotel and quick into town. Cons: Nothing it was all great
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Food and service, excellent.

Cons: Sea gulls
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing and the breakfast staff were outstanding. I have a special diet and after the first morning the team were already aware and their service and attention to detail was first rate.
Cons: Sadly the evening restaurant staff were totally opposite to the morning breakfast team and on the first evening we had to wait nearly an hour for a main course and they even tried to add a service change! Needless to say we didn't use the evening restaurant facilities again during the rest of our stay.

Pros: Central location. Very clean rooms.
Cons: Our Standard room overlooked an interior flat roof with noisy air conditioning units, so we couldn’t have the window open. The room was small and dark. 5,0 Okay
Pros: The food was amazing. Outdoor pool was also great. Upgraded to the family suite and so far, it was the space I needed from the start of my stay but unfortunately only got this for the last night.
Cons: The rooms are way too small based on the money paid for it. In my opinion, value for money isn’t seen. Also was disappointed with the bathroom. Couldn’t fit in the bath tub with my little daughter as she likes to soak up before bed. Basically the first two days were not great.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and very attentive throughout our stay. Hotel was very clean and rooms were well equipped. Food in the hotel was excellent, a wide choice at breakfast. Food in the bar is also excellent. Hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the main shopping area. Would definitely return and highly recommend.
Cons: Very hard to think of anything, no ironing facilities in the room is the only thing I can think of.
6,8 Good
Pros: Room fairly small for price we paid food ok.surprised no shower caps in bathroom like to make up in bathroom but lighting too dim for that
Cons: Room was quite small didn't feel particularly comfortable down stairs quite bland didn't make you feel like sitting downstairs

Pros: Great staff, amazing Michelin restaurant. Very central and FREE onsite parking too.
Cons: The bar terrace was a bit bland and neglected and very steep incline to some of the parking area.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was helpful and efficient. Beds were very comfortable. Bohemia bar and restaurant are excellent.
Cons: Sink in bathroom was too low and shower door did not work well so that water would be on the floor after a shower.
7,0 Good
Pros: Spa Treatments were fabulous
Cons: Lighting in the room was difficult to coordinate
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed.Nice Spa. Very nice housekeeping.Pleasant reception
Cons: Breakfast was OK but I disapprove of hidden charges for coffee when buying breakfast on a room only basis. Continental breakfast includes it but any other breakfast doesn't. The coffee is 3.20 but this price isnt on the menu. Thats a very small thing. Bar meals outside the main restaurant have many items sold out, so its a little limited so flat iron steaks at a reasonable £12 or so were not available for several days, but a sirloin at £30 was, but it was very ordinary (

Pros: Very friendly, clean, we only had breakfast but it was fantastic & kept us going all day! It was our 25th wedding anniversary, we didn’t tell anyone & only put our cards up on the side table but came back to our room from a day out to find it decorated like it was fit for a king & queen!
Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Cons: The restaurant was quite expensive.

Pros: Staff very good, ample breakfast infact too much!
Cons: 10 minute walk from beach, but not a big problem. Room a touch on the small side for 2 people.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location Excellent service, rooms were clean and comfortable the staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely be making a return visit and would highly recommend
Cons: The room was a little small and an ode shape but I think that was because we were on a corner.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Food excellent in the restaurant and service spot on
Cons: Air conditioning in the rooms would have been nice as the fan just blew warm air around
6,3 Good
Pros: Friendly staff...
Cons: The inn is not what we would class as a boutique hotel. The bathroom & bedroom need updating. The location is further out of town as suggested by previous reviews. Breakfast was fair with adequate choice but not crispy bacon as only cooked on one side, toast burnt on one side & uncooked on the other.

9,4 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was terrific in quality and quantity. Also the restaurant served great meals at a reasonable price in the evenings. The staff in the restaurant was superb.
Cons: Due to an unusual floor plan, most guests will have to use stairs to get between their rooms and the elevator on each floor. This did not bother us, but it may be a challenge for those with mobility issues.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant food excellent
Cons: Room a little small and as it was on the front of the hotel, very noisy from traffic

Pros: Breakfast was usual selection of hot and cold food. The coffee is tasteless, better using the dispensing machines which have a decent selection and tastes marginally better! Bar food is very good. Location and views are extremely good.
Cons: Room looking a bit tired. Servicing of the room was usually quite late in the day, once at 5:15pm when we were relaxing before dinner.
5,5 Okay
Pros: Accessible to the town centre
Cons: I had to ring every day for clean towels sbd toiletries and on the day of arrival the room was not set up as requested re: two single beds...
6,8 Good
Pros: great location for the sunset. breakfast plentiful. spacious reception area.
Cons: Being based in town means you have to time your entry and exit from the hotel to avoid traffic jams.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfortable and the room was spacious.
Cons: Service was poor. Toiletries were not replaced and coffee cups not washed. The bed was not made up properly and one day when we returned from being out all day at 4.45 the room had not been cleaned or towels replaced. We had to wait in reception till this was done. One evening we wanted room service at 10.30. They could not find us a menu and eventually they told us by phone that we couldn’t order anything because it was too late!
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Booked this for my parents 40th anniversary and they were absolutely delighted with all aspects of their stay. The hotel even provided a surprise welcome gift of Prosecco, strawberries, macaroons and chocolates. My parents were particularly impressed with a member of staff called Hamish who provided excellent service during their stay:
Cons: All aspects were fantastic.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely view of the harbour & St Elizabeth Castle.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was lovely with a great location. We were luck and upgraded to a lovely sea view room. The location is perfect with great views and very close to the beach and Elizabeth castle. Reception staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: Minor negatives are the bar is very expensive and the staff were polite but not overly friendly and the service was slow. The room was not cleaned when we returned at 17:30 and then when the maid came and we asked her to come back in 15 mins she never returned so it was left.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The view, and staff
Cons: Room decor was poor
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, very clean and tidy. Staff were extremely polite and helpful.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful sea views located within easy walking of central Helier downtown. Quiet ie away from traffic noise. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Good size rooms.
Cons: Dining room staff are friendly but their method of how they take food orders and eventually deliver the food is strange and inefficient. Too many people are involved ie different staff show up as the meal progresses to again ask you what you want as your next course ( eg. two different waiters asked us what we wanted as the main course when we had already made the selection with our initial order) and a different person was involved in the delivery. We had to ask for our bill 3 times from 3 different people before finally deciding to go to the til to pay. I asked whether it was normal to ask to have the bill brought to the table and was told the choice was ours. The food was good.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Great view
Cons: Let down by house keeping and tired furniture.

Pros: Love the grounds beautiful gardens
Cons: Bedrooms are basic but clean
6,8 Good
Pros: Great pool; well maintained garden/grounds; hot tubs (although only one working for our visit). Staff are very friendly. Decent breakfast. Handy shuttle bus to and from town centre. No outside interference - secluded.
Cons: Rooms are dated. The two rooms we had both had very little space for us (two rooms offered to us as a family pair but was far from practical in every sense). Floor was quite uneven in the corridor leading up to the rooms (as was the floor inside them). If you like your fried eggs with runny yolks, opt for scrambled instead. They get left under the heat lamps far too long.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable place. Exceptional staff always kind and happy to help and go an extra mile. We had transport to our next destination and this was fantastic to have. I would stay again. Thank you Food was great.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Firstly a very friendly welcome and our bags were taken to our rooms. Lovely airy rooms, with a pool view. We were on the ground floor as my Mum is 87 but still had a nice view of the pool. Secondly, the pool area is stunning. Sunloungers surround two sides of the pool with beautiful flowers and palm trees

Pros: Breakfast superb. Location good excellent restaurants close buy.
Cons: You need to like walking a little bit to get you in to St Helier.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: LOCATION VERY CLOSE TO BEACH AND EASY WALK TO TOWN CENTRE. FOOD/BREAKFAST GOOD MY SINGLE ROOM HAD EXCELLENT ENSUIT FACILITIES. RECEPTION VERY HELPFUL. Lounge very comfortable, also out side table and chairs were an attractive area.
Cons: Only small things, there was no mirror near a power socket to see to tong my hair. Also initial information from hotel prior to arrival was misleading - it said the bar area was available to consume own food rather than in the rooms, which was fine, but one assumed the bar area was naturally open for drinks- IT WAS NOT.

Pros: We liked the location to amenaties

Pros: The owner and her staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with a choice of continental or full English. Overall my stay was very enjoyable.
Cons: The hotel does not currently offer an evening dining facility or a bar. However there are a number of good restaurants and bars located nearby offering a wide range of international cuisine.
4,4 Okay
Pros: Convenient geographical position of hotel hotel boss is reliable (but does not master any friendly conversaTION)
Cons: Breakfast . no yoghurt, no fresh fruit, no cheese etc; only cereal and bread and jam and the general English breakfast felt toatlly left alone by staff, which results in that though everything was in order, E.G. the taxi was there in the morgening, but all the day before we did not know whether it was indeed booked, for no staff was seen at the hotel between 4 and 9 P.m; no check out because never saw staff again rooms are quite dated and would need decorating in several points atmosphere in hotel is cold and anonymous

Pros: Food was excellent Staff were friendly and helpful, and went the extra mile, especially when I was taken unexpectedly ill. Breakfast and taxi on final day all efficiently arranged! A big thank you to everybody who helped make it a lovely holiday, we thoroughly enjoyed it and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Cons: The brochure said toiletries, we expected shampoo and conditioner type, not just hand soap and shower gel. Toilet paper was thin and poor quality We found the drinks pricey

Pros: Excellent location, good breakfast.
Cons: Rooms very hot, no air con, surfaces in room had cup marks on from last guest
6,8 Good
Pros: It's reasonable good location by the beach
Cons: Staff, basement room, I was asked to give my card details in advance even though I have paid already for my room
7,5 Good
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful
Cons: Nothing to dislike
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: The best thing about this hotel was the food, was great.
Cons: None of the rooms are in number order, they are all over the place and impossible to find that even the staff cant find them! There is no aircon or fans in the rooms and they are so hot and when we mentioned it to a member of staff they said 'well you could have asked for a fan before you checked in but we have none left now'.... so it was our fault!? I stayed with my sister on the first night before the day of her wedding and we walked into the room to find a massive flying ants nest in the bathroom. I went to reception to ask if they could move us and they couldn't and they said no one was there to help us as there was no manager on site and I asked for a Hoover to see if we could hoover them up, the night staff knocked on our door and gave us the hoover without saying anything else or even offering to clean the nest up themselves. The rooms are small and smell of rotten carpets and dust! The location is the nicest thing however everything is poor. I had 4 bags with me and did not get offered any help with them, I got given the wrong key for my room so I had to come back down and get the right one! I would never stay again.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean. Staff really friendly and helpful.
Cons: Bed was worn and uncomfortable. Our room overlooked the car park so would definitely pick a sea view room next time. Room quite basic, no air con or fan, no shampoo only shower gel and hand soap.

Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I thought your staff were all wonderful, so courteous and kind. It was a great location for me to visit my mother who lives just around the corner
Cons: I would have preferred a top sheet and options of bed covers. I was too hot with the duvet and too cool without it so I had a couple of sleepless nights. I thought the hotel/ music etc. a little dated.
7,0 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly. Location was fine with a nice 15 minute walk through Millennium Park to town. Hotel was clean. Menu was rather limited and unimaginative.
Cons: Rooms and decor were a little tired and dated.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Good sized car park. We had a minibus. Didn’t have any problem with parking. 15-20 min walk into town centre. Indoor pool was used every day by family. Outdoor pool was a little too cold for the little ones. Family room was a good size. Breakfast was fine. Had evening meal one night. Was very nice.
Cons: Bit dated. Needs a refurbishment.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything perfect,lovely breakfast
Cons: The sun beds not comfy
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: The location was central enough to be able to walk easily into town
Cons: There was only one plug socket in the whole room, when I asked for an extension cable, they said they had run out as they "couldn't cater for everyone". I went on a particularly hot weekend, there wasn't any air conditioning in the room, when I asked for a fan, they told me they had run out, because, yes, they couldn't cater for everyone. I a glad I was only staying for one evening as I wouldn't have been able to stay any longer. The room was very tired, wallpaper peeling, bathroom not as clean as I'd like, just very old and in need of a refurb. At that price, it was not value for money at all.

Cons: Fan supplied in room as no air conditioning

Pros: Facilities were good and well maintained. Room was a good size and properly cleaned. The wifi was excellent with a full connection at all times.
Cons: The breakfast was truly appalling and some of the food was virtually inedible. Staff in the breakfast rooms were uncheerful and highly focused on organising the throughput of guests. One morning there was no water for a while in the room. The hairdryer was lethal and almost burnt out - eventually replaced.

Pros: At Breakfast, Cooked food, very good. Nice homely traditional hotel. Rooms large and nicely furnished. Pool area small but adequate and staff looked after guests well.
Cons: Rather musty smell in corridors. Breakfast buffet items varied in quality. Some staff lacked finesse. Somewhat noisy in front facing rooms.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: it was excellent great options
8,8 Excellent
Pros: All the staff were great and couldn't do enough for you. The location is excellent- no sea views or anything but if you want to stay in St Helier near the bus station, restaurants & shops it's very convenient. It's an older type hotel and the furniture is somewhat dated but new furniture wouldn't look right. It was very clean.
Cons: nothing
6,8 Good
Pros: Staff seemed enthusiastic, pleasant and wanted to help. The lobby area was classy and the bar/ restaurant very quaint. I got the feeling the staff wanted to provide traditional 5-star service. The bed itself was comfortable.
Cons: The room was oven hot. To be fair it was the hottest day of the year and Jersey got it hotter than anywhere else in the UK that day (34C) but there was no Air Con and no fan available when asked at reception, despite their efforts to find one. Closest to AC I could manage was a couple of rudimentary hand fans fashioned from the writing paper in the room. Truly the most unpleasant experience I’ve had in any hotel anywhere. It would have been more pleasant staying on the pavement outside. Will not book again or recommend the revere for that reason, despite convenient location, good staff and characterful public areas. Also, blinds on the enormous frosted glass window in the WC would keep the bathroom cool, hide the unsightly seagul droppings and reassure dignity when using the WC at night time with the light on.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The charming hotel The kindness and professionalism of the staff The big and delicious breakfast The good hamburger at the bar for dinner and the piano The swimming-pool The comfort and calm of the bedroom
Cons: Nothing
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location was good , Staff were helpful
Cons: No cold water coming from the shower , almost got scalded ! What looked like dried blood on the sheets was a nasty shock ( complained and had them changed .The room was too warm , and too small . The breakfast was particularly poor .. Oder your cooked breakfast at the table but go and get your own toast ! So , it became a battle of timing ! Both mornings the breakfast was cold ! The continental breakfast was poor in so much that there was very little choice ( ham or cheese .. with a croissant) .
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff exceptional
Cons: Dated room facilities. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Wash sink in bedroom. No air con. Revere seams to like jazz and Blues music.

Pros: Food & service were excellent, staff very friendly & hotel well located on the ring road with access to town centre only a 5 to 7 minute walk. Nice park on walk where you could sit and relax & watch the world go by.
Cons: The decor needs to have an update in the halls and the rooms, my room door looked like it was cut by a lop-sided joiner as there was a fair gap underneath.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent, Location Very good. Staff very friendly.

Pros: Spacious room. Nice view as we stayed at the front of the property. Bathroom was big, very modern and very clean. Staff were lovely, friendly. Excellent customer service. Breakfast was fantastic. Good location, 5-10mins walk to beach, town etc.
Cons: Bedroom part of room bit dated, pretty warm as we were in the top of the hotel. Very noisy as on a road that seemed like a race track at night. No other food provided or proper bar/lounge area. Location was on quite a steep slope so may not be suitable for some.

Pros: everything in general

Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We asked for a vegetarian breakfasts and they made sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back here.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and made guests feel very welcome. Breakfast had a good selection of fresh fruit as well as cooked items. The position of the hotel was handy being just a short walk from the town centre. The balcony was fantastic!!

Pros: The location was perfect , the Hotel was clean and tidy very good breakfast choice also a good place for lunch or dinner.
Cons: The views were not great from our window and we did get a little noise from the pub over the road.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel owners and staff were friendly and inviting. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast choices were very good. We ate a couple of times in the restaurant and were not disappointed.
Cons: The location wasn't great. St Helier is divided by a power station on the coastline with the Marina Metro on the far side. Google maps struggles with directions so finding the hotel initially was difficult. Top tip. Take the #1 bus from Liberation bus station to Marrett Road stop. Walk back a little way and the hotel is on the opposite side of the road.
6,3 Good
Pros: We paid for a sea view room and it was lovely to hear the sea so close. Helpful staff.
Cons: The hotel is dated and public areas are a bit scruffy. Breakfast was extra and expensive for the quality.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The sea view from our bedroom was amazing
Cons: The disco at the weekends was too loud. Did not expect this type of in-house entertainment as it was open to non hotel users Ruined the ambiance of the hotel
6,8 Good
Pros: Great location - only a 10/15 minute walk into St Helier and nice views if you have a sea view room! Very good breakfast options!
Cons: Accommodation is dated, could do with a renovation. We felt like the staff could have been friendlier, looks like they are understaffed and overworked. The booking for our stay wasn't cheap and on top of that we were charged £40.00 when I asked if we could leave our room one hour after the check out time! The lady at check out was very unreasonable and didn't have a very nice approach about it either - this was very unnecessary and very poor understanding on the staff's part - something as "little" as this could have an impact on guests returning! I would have appreciated speaking to the manager about this on departure but he was not around unfortunately.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The cooked/prepared breakfasts were very nice, and the staff were accomodating to change/ammend. Usually I don't sleep well when away, I did sleep extremely well here. Could be the comfy beds, white sheets, or the superb location. You literally are right on the seafront of St Helier. Parking is only £0.85p per hour in the carparks throughout all of Jersey. The hotel staff were helpful when needed. There is a lounge on the 1st floor, with a small balcony and large windows to soak up the amazing views.
Cons: The bathroom was dated, the shower was good, only you couldn't prevent the water escaping down the back of the taps on the bath and onto the floor. The carpet is a dark red so I'm unsure how clean it really is. It was a side sea view room, but only if you hung out of the window, which you don't want to do! Sadly the choice of fresh fruit was 0. Only offered tinned peaches and prunes, again, this is a very dated option. The t.v remote worked when it wanted to, so that was very frustrating. There is a very lively pub that is open until early hours opposite the hotel, so I know that some guests didn't sleep that well. Not having a carpark isn't great, and the nearest one if you manage to get a space, is a minimum of a 5 min walk away. This isn't free, but only £0.85p per hour.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great, listening to the water lapping in.The food in the hotel is very good and the staff are very friendly
Cons: The water pressure in the shower was terrible and the service for breakfast was a little slow
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room was good and the location is very good, especially for what we paid. The restaurant below is very good, excellent food.
Cons: Didn't seem to have parking but wasn't an issue for us as we didn't take the car.
7,0 Good
Pros: breakfast was ok and the room was clean and tidy
Cons: room was dated but as i have said was still clean and tidy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location facing the sea. Great breakfasts. Lovely staff. Not overly far to walk to the centre to access shops and restaurants.
Cons: Personally I don't like mixer taps on a shower so for me it would be nice to see the bathrooms upgraded a little.

Pros: Very central
Cons: No air conditioning
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and the food very good and value for money. The room was OK, no air conditioning, but we were given an electric fan when it was very hot weather. There was entertainment in the bar several times a week which helped to make it a very pleasant stay.
Cons: It was a little further out of St. Helier than we thought. We either had to take a short bus ride or walk about 3/4 of a mile.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very wide comfy bed. Spoilt for choice at breakfast time- and as much as you wanted. Staff couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a lovely time. Balcony overlooking sea was spectacular.
Cons: No car parking facilities but the benefits of staying in such a lovely hotel far outweighed that inconvenience.
7,5 Good
Pros: Swimming pool, view, beach and sea pool close by. Good food
Cons: Dated carpets and decor, run-down area, walk from town centre unattractive
5,0 Okay
Pros: I didn't like anything about this hotel
Cons: There is no parking at this hotel so we had to park in a multi storey car park a 10 minute walk away. On arrival we were greeted with a curt "yes" from the receptionist who clearly had no interest in his job or us. He hurried me to sign a form that I wanted to check first as though I was some idiot who couldn't see where to sign. The ground floor smelled of "care home" food The room decor was dated with net curtains obscuring the view of the sea we had paid good money to have. the shower had a hot and a cold tap - I've not seen one like that for at least 20 years. The breakfast room staff were slow to come and take orders for tea and coffee and, when they did come, walked away before I had finished speaking to them. The hotel is on the corner of a promenade with two shelters close to the rooms where young people like to hang out at night making noise. There is also the walkway and the Lido close by where they like to sit and make noise. On two nights we had to shout to ask youngsters to leave. In one night I was kept awake until 11.30 and then woken again at 03.15 and 04.30. Then the people above us got up at 06.30 and appeared to stomp about. There was one other room we could change to but it was in a similar location so pointless. On Thursday night "Liam" performed. Very nice for the pensioners who enjoy singing along to songs like "Amarillo" but not so good when you've done a hard day's sight-seeing and are tired and are in the room above.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room exceptionally clean. Staff very friendly
Cons: Nothing
9,5 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay, the bed was comfortable and the hotel is on a bus route so it was extremely easy to get into town to get to anywhere on the island. The hotel staff were very friendly and as there was no refrigerator in the room they arranged for one so we could keep necessary medications cold. This was a terrific touch, thank you. The restaurant was good with lovely views and the breakfasts were plentiful.
Cons: Nothing, it was all very good
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, excellent breakfast
Cons: Hotel is dated. Clientele are mostly retired people. Dinner poor so we only ate there one night. Not enough sockets in the room
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly helpful staff, good choice of freshly cooked breakfast, excellent location beside beach and Lido, and easy access to centre by bus outside door. Excellent .value
Cons: Decor a little outdated. Noisy fan(?) in the early mornings possibly from kitchens

Pros: Really friendly staff esp waiting staff and cleaner
Cons: Not very good value for money
