Pros: We like Motel One - you know what you’re going to get and usually good value - better quality than many budget hotel chains. Good location in Saarbrucken- close to everything. Good stopover location. Decent breakfast as in all Motel One hotels. Love the bathroom fabulous shower and has a luxury feel. Very accommodating about our dog.
Cons: Rooms seemed a little smaller than other Motel One hotels. Parking was an issue and think that should be highlighted.
Pros: The comfort and the cleanliness of the room. The modern bathroom. The friendly staff. The great 24h bar/lounge with correct prices!
Cons: Mmmm... no parking... but quite expected for the price!
Pros: the location is excellent, right on the river, steps to the old town. The rooms are very bare bones -no dusty old armoires- but the bathroom is large and so are the windows in the bedroom.
Cons: the weather that week
Pros: The location is excellent. Immediately across the street from the state theater, right on the edge of the shopping district. The breakfast was very fine. The room was clean and pleasant. All was good.
Cons: No beach? There was nothing we didn’t like, really. The only reason I didn’t give our stay an exceptional rating is that we’ve had bigger rooms better breakfasts and better locations. So, although not exceptional, it was very, very good. We’ll stay there again, I’m sure!

Cons: Our shower was broken and we had to wait for them to fix it. Eventually changed rooms, got a complementary drink and some discount on the bill. Well handled!
Pros: beds are very comfortable the rooms are light and airy and very well maintained .Staff are very helpful and make you feel welcome. Decor is modern and quirky /unique which is what we like. The hotel has just undergone a refurbishment and looks wonderful.

Located in Saarbruecken, Domaine Leidinger is within a 5-minute drive of Ludwigskirche and Saarbruecken Castle.
Pros: Excellent breakfast and location. Very nice staff.
Cons: My room only had a tub, no shower
Pros: The room was comfortable, the staff lovel and great location.
Cons: Parking was limited for a big car.
Pros: Underground car park & access into hotel very good. Interior design also very good. Breakfast excellent. Room & bathroom both spacious, but, close proximity of tree did spoil outlook over internal courtyard area. Sound of fountain was delightful.
Pros: We liked everything about the hotel. It was clean, the staff were friendly and the accommodation was very good. We opted to take breakfast at the hotel and weren't disappointed. There was wide range of options available and plenty of choice. The garden area at the hotel was very pleasant and we were fortunate to obtain a parking space in the hotels underground car park (there is an additional charge for this). The hotel is in a pleasant area and it is situated less than a five minute walk to the city centre.
Cons: The only thing that I would say is that our room was very hot at night. The outside weather was warm, but not overly hot. However we were on the top floor of one of the hotels annexes where the rooms are in the roof space and this may explain why it was so hot.
Cons: Bathroom very small. Even though the street side had two windows, passers-by outside could be heard in the middle of the night.
Pros: Very good breakfast except for coffee.
Pros: Great breakfast and great location for bar and drinks and wine room large and comfortable
Pros: Breakfast super!
Cons: Room a bit poor
Pros: Located just outside the old town pedestrian area, in an up-and-coming revamped street, the Leidinger offers nice rooms at reasonable prices, and also breakfast and indoor parking are affordable. Cons: The shower was making a loud noise when on, the problem got reported on the day of arrival but did not get fixed by the time of departure, 3 days later.
Pros: Good location. Spacious room. We stop overnight here. Didn’t get to see a lot of the city. The hotel has a limited parking space but you could park your car not far from the hotel at the parking lot. Good selections of breakfast. We were satisfied with our stay.
Pros: Clean and comfy hotel. I reserved 2 single rooms, but the hotel gave us 1 single and 1 double room, which was really great. The breakfast is ok, nice choice. The reception is fast and helpful, good English speakers. Close to many restaurants and shops.

Pros: Great hotel, I would come here again if in Saarbrucken
Cons: Only thing that would have improved this hotel would have been a kettle in the room
Pros: Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable, location was good and breakfast was superb.
Pros: All else.
Cons: Noise from the church every 15 minutes.
Pros: Very nice place and a fresh room and very close to the center of Saarbrücken.
Pros: The breakfast was awesome! The location is really good, walking distance from all the important places of interest. It is a bit pricey for what it offers, but we were generally pleased.

Pros: I have seen nobody in the hotel, had to look for the reardoor in stress, didn't have a code. In the room the tv was off, the internet was too week. There was a form to fill in, but no pen.
Cons: I have seen nobody in the hotel, had to look for the reardoor in stress, didn't have a code. In the room the tv was off, the internet was too week. There was a form to fill in, but no pen.
Pros: Clean room. Decent location
Cons: The staff were incredibly rude. I found the property locked at my arrival with no one available to help the check in process. No one would answer the phone and their lock box to get into the hotel was malfunctioning. I was then asked to leave my room 45 min before the checkout time. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Pros: Loved the downtown location; one block from christmas market. Room was small but comfortable. Tons of character in the building. Staff was pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Queen bed is two mattresses together in a frame - sleeping towards middle of bed means youre falling into the crack! €5,90 for a bottle of water.
Pros: Location. Bathroom. Being able to leave the bags after check out. Nice gesture about the glass bottle of water, pity it was bubbly water.
Cons: The bed had no proper sheet, just a sheet to protect the mattress which wasn't nice to the touch at all and in summer it makes things even warmer. The furniture could give you a nightmare. we had some problems falling asleep as it is located in a busy street.
Pros: Location is the only positive attribute of this hotel.
Cons: No dedicated reception upon arrival. The room I was given was big but there was a big stain on the carpet. It did not feel clean.
Pros: Location was excellent for the Shopping Centre bars and restaurants. Our Room was very quiet despite city location. Breakfast was very colourful varied and healthy.
Cons: Website misleading. No guest access through pretty front of hotel have to go around the back by bars. No 24 hour reception after 11am only access via key box or phone call. Apart from breakfast time no access to a drink apart from 1 bottle sparkling water in room. For the price expected a kettle / coffee machine / tea / coffee. Glass bathroom door so can see toilet user. Room tired looking furniture and bland.
Pros: The breakfast was plentiful, fresh and healthy and the presentation of my “oeuf de plat” (fried egg) was excellent (on a bed of lardons and mushrooms, colourfully garnished)
Cons: The hotel is closing, boohoo. Times are hard apparently and general lack of business in the area is taking its toll. The rise of global branding is suffocating the independents.
Pros: The hotel is very nice in a historical building in the old town. The location is great and very central, the rooms are large and clean, and the breakfast is very good with a large variety of food. Although reception isn't open all day it's possible to arrive any time of the day with a special system.
Cons: There's nothing I don't like about the hotel itself, but I was shocked to learn that the person running the place denies the climate change and is quite vocally adamant about it, although he comes across as an intelligent and educated person. This was my third stay in this hotel, but on my next trip to Saarbrücken, I'll look for a different place, since I don't feel like supporting someone with this kind of view.

Cons: If anything, the quality of the coffee at breakfast could be improved
Pros: Comfortable room and bed.

We made a really last-minute booking because another accommodation did not have vacancy at their property even though we had a confirmed booking. As such, we booked the superior apartment with a kitchenette at Hotel Crystal, but when we checked-in, this room was already taken. So, we were given an alternative room and also allowed to use the common kitchen. I appreciate that he was helpful in finding a solution for us. Breakfast was wonderful. Cons: Tv could be a bit bigger
Pros: We stopped here for a night only and it is fit for purpose (a stopover from skiing holiday back to the UK). We very much appreciated that the two rooms which we booked for 2 adults and 4 children could be connected via internal doors.
Cons: The rooms were fine for a night, beds could have been more comfortable though.
Pros: It was a hotel fitting the standards of the company with friendly staff and all the comfort. We appreciated that we could have dinner and a drink there directly in a comfortable setting. The cot for our child was setup as requested.
Cons: The restaurant a bit expensive and the choice of food a bit too local. Something a bit more international would be nice. The waiting staff was friendly but they should put another person to help out. It's a two-people's job.
Pros: Location was good. Big private parking
Cons: Bed was comfortable but pillow inners felt like a bag of stones. You could smell unpleasant smell of urine on children's bedding - our little one slept with us in the end. They charge €2.50 for a bottle of mineral water provided in the room, which is something I've never experienced before.
