10,0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was a great find. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, for example, offering to make us dinner even though we didn't arrive until 9.30 pm. Breakfast was a delicious buffet including an enormous variety of breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, eggs, home made jams, yogurts and fruit. From our balcony, which was a great sun trap, we could see the snow capped Pyrenees. The beach was about 100m. and there were plenty of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance although we would recommend eating in the hotel. We also enjoyed the covered, heated pool which was an added bonus as the sea was a bit chilly (in November).
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly, the beach is only 5 minutes walk and the walk along the promenade is very nice. The rooms are comfortable and generous size. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and evening meals that we had were excellent. The hotel has off street parking and we would definitely stay here again.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were very comfortable and clean.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Family hotel in a quiet location a couple of streets back from the beach. Very friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast, with bacon and eggs available.
Cons: Would have liked a separate bar for an after-dinner drink. Parking was too small for the size of the hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Stayed for two nights having just sold our holiday apartment. Hotel recently renovated - was allocated a superb room. Dinner was excellent and reasonably priced. Breakfast also good. The hotel owners and staff were friendly, helpful, welcoming and attentive.
Cons: Would love to have had tea/coffee making facility in room.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, with ideas for excursions offered.
Cons: There was a temporary problem with plumbing however it was resolved quickly.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: ---
Cons: Very welcoming and friendly staff. One big example: we arrived hungry at 2045 the first evening. The kitchen of the hotel restaurant closes at 21. But the reception madame asked us if we were hungry and invited us directly for din(n)er which was really tasteful. We got nice tips for trips and all our questions answered. We got an upgrade cause our room category was not available. Both rooms were really nice, clean and comfortable. Great location 150 m to the sea (side). Nice little covered pool. Great choice of breakfast with many fresh products - e.g. fruit. Parking lot directly next to the hotel. We prelonged our stay to 3 nights - instead of 2 - because of the staff and the relaxing atmosphere. PS: I found my portemonnaie again - I forgot to tell you.. ;-) Merci beaucoup pour notre séjour à votre hôtel. You have a great équipe!

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, tranquil hotel perfect get away for couples, friendly staff, relaxing spa area highly recommend the hammam spa treatment.
Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: This was the fourth visit made by my wife and I. This is a small high class hotel in a residential area. Parking was excellent, within the grounds in a secure area- an oasis of calm. The pool area was popular. I noticed that the water was regularly checked by a technician.
Cons: The breakfasts are the one area of weakness. The menu offers a reasonable selection of both hot and cold dishes, but the bias favours the continental style. Although this is fundamentally a 'room only' accommodation with the flexible option of taking a breakfast on an ad hoc basis, the actual cost of the meal is not the best of value.
7,5 Good
Pros: The room and the grounds were stunning! The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I will definitely return.
Cons: There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this property.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool, air around,BF, stuff, parking all are wonderfull.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely perfect, friendly, nice and clean. Nice location with a nice walk on the beach to the restaurants and bars.
Cons: Nothing.
4,6 Okay
Cons: Had to wait one hour for the room to be ready on arrival. The champagne we had ordered for our arrival was not delivered.the evening meal was a disaster serving us the wrong food! And yogurt delivered for breakfast was 6days out of date, not acceptable for a four star hotel
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is varied and good. Especially taken outside on the terrasse overlooking the sea. All the staff are charming and helpful. The Spa is really nice, the outside pool area fun in winter when you can swim in warm water; but still be outside in the sun.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: excellent
Cons: the hammam was not working for the full period we were there, and we had gone there mainly for the spa treatments
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Superb hotel. Lovely room and stunning view of both the sea and mountains. Staff extremely helpful with a few extra requests we had for our baby. A fantastic way to end our holiday - thank you!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The view from the room after update. The equipment in the room was very nice.
Cons: Before update was the room directly over the street and very noisy. Breakfast extremely expensive. Wellness opens too late and close too early at 8 PM. The hotel charged the amount already during the booking two months ago.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is very stylish and knows how to make you feel like you are in a luxury hotel. The staff was extremely professional and they have their hospitality skills well covered. The room is impeccable and comfortable. The rooftop offered great views and the pool was nice. Dining at the restaurants Michelin star restaurant was incredible, too.
Cons: It got a bit windy in the afternoon but that is not the hotel's fault.
5,8 Okay
Pros: A good location
Cons: The breakfast was non existent warm food ran out not replaced no orange juice order forgotten twice Sockets hanging off in the room with children in room Towels not replaced and when they were by manager Holes in the towels For two nights no availability in the restaurant In all my years of staying at hotels it’s the first time I would like my money back not 5stars
7,1 Good
Pros: Reception staff made efforts to secure a table for us in the restaurant at the last minute but not without having to push them initially. I've always believed the squeaky wheel gets the grease but I would have hoped not to have to here. The room looked nice and I slept well; pretty important in a hotel.
Cons: An old hotel building refurbished to look modern but badly. The finish is rough and not at all what one would expect of a R&C location. The food at L'Almandin was great but the service was weak and let the team down; missing cutlery, chipped glasses, self-service wine for example.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The bed.
Cons: Not friendly at out arrival Impossible to eat to the restaurant a Friday night at 9pm after 5hours travel by road. Spa s pool at not looking recent. Cold water. Steam room out of service. Expensive for the provided service
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, location, food, spa, swimming pool.
Cons: not a lot but would suggest it's at the lower end of a 5 star rating. What the staff lacked in sophistication and finesse was more than made up by their friendliness and enthusiasm
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great property , we arrived late staff was very kind to bring us up some food in the room . Room facilities are great ... we had everything we needed in our room and more .
Cons: Nothing
4,2 Okay
Pros: The check in staff (chap with moustache) was great. We also liked the boat ride to the beach.
Cons: The rooms are small and quite run down. Our shower leaked and there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. When the sink tap was on the shower water dropped to a drizzle. We had cockroaches on the terrace and bats flapping over our heads.
7,5 Good
Pros: Yes-everything was fine
Cons: Room service too expensive for quantity and quality

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely modern property with fabulous restaurant Room was very smart and comfortable.
Cons: Toilet seat incorrect size for toilet and moved about. Internet ok but keeps logging out I booked for dinner in restaurant both nights a week in advance but on my second night the restaurant was closed for a party. I had to have room service. Would have been nice to be informed. Only one English tv channel. BBC news.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were friendly, rooms were very comfy and clean and beautiful swimming pool
Cons: Lack of amenities in room, only shower gel and bath salts, no shampoo or conditioner. There was no milk provided for tea of coffee.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing dinner, really excellent food, great service, friendly and not intrusive. Pool was amazing, gardens are peaceful and impeccable, all in all a great base to explore Perpignan or enjoy getting away from it all.
Cons: Breakfast was utterly haphazard. Food platters being emptied and not replenished by staff. It took 15 minutes to get a cappuccino which was not a cappuccino. All in all a bit of a shambles and no real care shown because it was later end of service but that is no excuse to let the standards attained in all else slip. I'd still go back in a second and recommend highly.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Big comfy bed and room was excellent
7,5 Good
Pros: The place is beautiful. The bed is super comfy.
Cons: I didn’t like to thing that it lacks some essential things. There is no hair conditioner , the gel bottle was empty. The lock of the terrace door was broken. I didn’t enjoy the dinner in the restaurant despite all the positive feedback here.

Cons: Not many English tv channels only news.

Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Cleaning could be improved. Smoking smell in the room ☹️
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and quiet room, very comfortable bed and good bathroom with a separate wc. Coffee & tea in the room. We visited also their restaurant for dinner and it was just perfect. Parking in front of a hotel.
Cons: We were happy with everything. Breakfast was not included in room price, so can not comment as we did not stay for it.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: maybe better goodies no shampoo or lotion
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a bit tricky to find , if you are using satnav use 62100 as the postcode. Really lovely hotel superb value for money as you get so much more for the same rate as a campanile for example. Outside eating and bar area will be lovely in summer around a pool . We visited in January . Staff were exceptional particularly the English speaking lady on reception and the bar man . Could not do enough for you . We had the menu of the day for dinner which again was fantastic value and we were able to take our dog also which is why we chose the hotel. Will definitely be back.
Cons: Nothing
5,0 Okay
Pros: The staff were good and it was very clean.
Cons: Not ideally located, the distance from the town centre to the hotel is in fact 4.9kilometers! Not as defined by you! YOU NEED A CAR!!Also you describe the view over the cities roof tops, when the views (unless your room overlooks the pool) is over square kilometer upon square kilometer of retail parks and industrial units., Which are huge and unattractive. No nearby restaurants! The local bus stop is a 15 minute walk away and takes some finding. Cheap at €2.30 to the centre for two, as opposed to a taxi that cost €16 in each direction? The hotel pool was heated but it is closed during the winter as was the jacuzzi . The hotel itself sits between a very busy main road and a retail park. The staff and service at the hotel was good. I enjoyed the breakfasts but at €58 for 2x2, l wouldn't pay that again. Perhaps that was the reason we never saw anyone having breakfast apart from us. The dining room was very nice but portions were small and menu limited! Excellent wine cellar but dinner was average. From what we saw because this hotel is in close proximity to the huge industrial and retail side of Perpignan, the clientele appeared to be sales/business people. I presume that may change in the summer. However although it had a gym, it was not for me and would not recommend it to any future city tourist...
5,0 Okay
Pros: Room and breakfast were great. Staff friendly.
Cons: Dinner in the evening was terrible. Fish was over cooked by a mile. Vegetables were under cooked, and my wife's salad starter looked as if they were remains topped up with a little fresh greenery, dry with no dressing over it. We were not the only ones to comment on the vegetables.

Pros: Good room layout, practical and very clean
Cons: No parking at the hotel. Nearby parking is 33eur for 2 days. We needed to extend the stay for one night and were charged double the price of the original booking.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Family room was a great size - decor was very modern with hidden cupboards everywhere! Fantastic shower and good to have toilet separate to bathroom when travelling with a family of four. Also a good little kitchenette which is rare to find in a hotel room. Very good breakfast and perfect location for exploring the city.
Cons: Nothing!

7,0 Good
Pros: Clean and modern Hotel, food in the restaurant was lovely, Breakfast was difficult because I am gluten / lactose/ Egg free.... but we worked it out in the end, and I could take my own food to the restaurant. Staff are pleasant and the heated pool was lovely!
Cons: The room was small with very little storage, just a wardrobe, no drawers. It seems we were staying longer than most guests, 11 nights, so we found this quite difficult. The beach was a good distance away.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location excellent if the weather is good. It wasn't when I stayed and without a car forced to use hotel restaurant. Room good with balcony over looking the sea. Small bathroom and toilet in a separate very tiny space. Very helpful friendly reception staff who spoke good English and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was as expected for a 3* HOTEL.
Cons: Variety of choice re breakfast cold meats and cheeses, fresh coffee and orange juice.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Were upgraded to seaview room
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is very well located between Collieur and Argeles. It's contemporary, smart, has an arty feel (owner is an artist), parking is very easy, everything is near as the property is relatively small. it feels safe and yet open and relaxed, it's informal while it is a 3 star hotel, that is only apparent from the very simple bedrooms and informality. This was my second stay and I would return.
Cons: As a coeilac- breakfast was catered for on 2 of 5 mornings. as return guests I would have have expected more. while staff are professional and one or 2 more friendly than others. There is no warmth in the welcome (Maybe I expected more_... ) when notified that we have 2 Coeliacs in the group it seemed to not be communicated amongst the full team and thus only one staff member provided us with suitable food. When I got glass in my foot on the balcony, I was provided with a sewing kit (as I asked for) but no other reference was made (glass finally came out after 13 days) a red wine accident was handled well at the time, but no offer to have our clothes laundered. These are accidents that can happen anywhere at any time, but how they were followed-up demonstrates a lack of attention.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very arty, not particularly romantic.
Cons: Price for a small bottle of beer. No sense of being made welcome, an absence of a little warm welcome.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We liked the views and friendly staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Booked this as a suprise for me and my girlfriends anniversary. We got upgraded for free and they left a little anniversary note. Lovely stay. Comfortable bed. Nice view and a super relaxing spa
Cons: Nothing. All was perfect

Overview Reviews
Dear guests, in order to improve your comfort, from 06.05 to 30.06 we are renovating our air-con/heating system. During this period, the air-con will not work. Apologies and thanks for understanding. Just 15 min from the Mediterranean Sea, let yourself be charmed by Novotel Perpignan Rivesaltes. For family stays or romantic weekend, we offer comfortable rooms and a restaurant with a bright atmosphere.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room with plenty of space. Toilet separate from bathroom. Very comfortable large ‘proper’ double bed (not 2 singles put together). More than enough pillows. Kettle in room. Separate sofa. TV with decent channels, English live football & movies! Staff very friendly & informative. Well worth the little extra nightly cost compared with other hotels in the same location. Didn’t even sample the restaurant/breakfast, as the room was so comfortable when travel fatigue set in, but sure they would be to a high standard.
Cons: Nothing of note
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Good access from auto route Secure parking Friendly staff
Cons: Shower in Bath — not safe for all customers —should replace with stand alone shower Bathroom and toilet (very tight with door and wall) would have more space if interior walls was removed
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was convenient from the motorway. We arrived very late because of ferry delays and the bar was closed although advertised as a 24 hour service. The available staff rallied to provide us with a very tasty croque monsieur and a much needed beer
Cons: The pillows
6,7 Good
Pros: Location great
Cons: Dirty bedsheets and bathroom, towel was stained with faeces.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location close to motorway. Good restaurant and breakfast!
7,5 Good
Pros: Convenient location, good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: The room size for an executive room is actually standard double. Really crammed if you use the sofa bed. The card key needed to be reprogrammed every day. For lunch, not much choice, but simple and tasty.
2,0 Mediocre
Cons: the family room was very small and uncomfortable. The breakfast egg buffet was a mess and not tasty. Overall bad experience
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here overnight both on the way to Spain for our winter break and on our return to UK. We love everything about this Novotel, Staff friendly and efficient and secure parking both important to us as was the fact that our well behaved dog was allowed everywhere in the hotel as long as on a lead. We will definitely be back next year.
Cons: Our meal on the return trip was disapointing but it was a Sunday night and not very many guests staying so we expect that the usual chef was night off. Our meal on the other stay was excellent so we will make sure we don't eat on a sunday night next time.

Pros: Our evening meal was excellent, stir fry with sweet potato fries! Very tasty and good value for money Breakfast also good but was unable to work the machine that boiled eggs to taste. Good food selection to choose from.
Cons: The drive to the hotel was a little confusing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Quirky decor. Very good English speaking waitress who offered advice about the area
Cons: Almost being charged twice for our room, and finding it difficult to communicate with the receptionist as she didn’t speak English. We speak French, but found her difficult to understand as she spoke too quickly.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Close to motorway, plenty of parking, dog friendly, helpful staff, large comfy rooms.
Cons: Nothing, all good.
7,0 Good
Cons: The bathroom. Bath difficult to get out we found it slippery and dangerous. It was also quite narrow to shower in. We are not big people 70 kilo so a larger person would find it extremely difficult.
7,9 Good
Pros: Close to the motorway so great for a stop en route to Spain. Lovely swimming pool. Nice breakfast. Great food at the restaurant at adjacent Novotel - although a bit pricey.
Cons: Triple room was a little cramped as the 3rd bed was a sofa bed. Mattress a bit soft.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly gracious host, quiet room and excellent breakfast. Location of hotel very good. Enjoyed visiting with host's bulldog very much
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent. Our room overlooked the canal. Hotel surrounded by restaurants and historic sites. Railway station only a 10 minute walk.
Cons: The only mirror was in the bathroom. Only whole fruit was available at breakfast, could have done with some prepared fruit on offer.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and excellent location. Nice big room with excellent beds.
Cons: A little outdated
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was large and the bath as well. The location was perhaps the best in Perpignan. You open the hotel's front door and you are just on the bank of the canal and 20 steps from the entrance of the Old Town.
Cons: The hotel was old. The building is almost 200 years old but in good shape. The rooms need restoration. Hydraulics were working properly, but they could not hide the smell of the old equipment. We spent in this room three nights.

Pros: I loved having the balcony. The sun shone on it in the morning. Having that little bit of outdoor space made my stay perfect!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Decent price, okay location (off the beaten path from the heart of the old city), a few blocks away from the Palace of the Kings of Majorca if you are visiting that. Very basic room.
Cons: Neighborhood was a bit questionable in the evenings. Breakfast was about 7€ but not communicated early on until checkout (not on booking nor at check-in).
10,0 Excellent
Cons: Nothing really. Met with my expectations.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Central location
Cons: On the corner where the blues bar and tea shop, on a Saturday I believe,it was very noisy until 2 am Lots of people and cars and music coming and going.Shutting the balcony door helped but then the room has no fresh air
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very central - all the main sites (and train station) were within walking distance, restaurants and a supermarket were just around the corner, as it wasn't cold yet, having an AC was really nice, and the guy who checked me in was kind and helpful.
Cons: N/A

7,1 Good
Pros: Very well located for the beach and lots of parking (not private) out front. Breakfast was great. The room was nice and recently renovated. Accept pets although a supplement applies.
Cons: The staff were friendly enough but not overly helpful. We had some issues in regards to the room. We were told that they could supply a free cot for a baby but then we had to pay extra to upgrade the room as they said the cot would not fit otherwise. Felt the stay here was not the best value for money.
6,7 Good
Cons: No bedside lights and ceiling lights too bright
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff who spoke good English!
