Very cheap Well situated Super friendly staff
Noisy on karaoke nights Lots of plastic trash at the breakfast Uneven heating
It's really to the downtown. A lot of parking spaces around to parked the car.
But the music come to be a little bit too hard during the night.
the morning staff were cheerful and helpful
Arrived at 11 p.m. (as I had prior notified the hotel would be the time of arrival) to a staff member whose reception was more of me being a bother. My room - up 2 flights of stairs - turned out to be either occupied or not made up. I was redirected to a room directly over the bar karaoke stage. I requested another quiet room (as requested on booking) and was told not possible. The music stopped at 12:45 although I was told it would end at midnight. The few people in the breakfast room indicated it could not have been a full hotel. The lack pf caring, the refusal to find a comparable room or an offer of a reduced rate or compensation has left me with a bitter feeling - I have cancelled my return booking. The only positive is the room was clean, the bed comfortable the morning women helpful in directing me to a shop as well as calling for a cab.
Location was quite good for getting to local restaurants. Clean room and bathroom. Comfortable beds.
Paper thin walls, so could hear every word and breath (including snoring) of the neighbours. But the worst was the loud karaoke in the bar two floors down that went on late into the night. Can't believe paying guests are made to suffer so that a few drunk people can have fun at the bar. No kettle in room. Building is lop-sided. Breakfast could have included more healthy options and less sugar. No elevator. Window faced a brick wall.
The staff was great and allowed us to move rooms
There was music blaring from the bar while we were trying to sleep, the second floor is unliveable and the third was barely tolerable.
