Awesome staff. Great Location. All in walking distance. They even let us hang out till midnight after check out. Breakfast is good as well as taco tuesday and wine n cheese wednesday.
They supposed to let people to left luggage for longer.
Second time staying here in two months - stayed one night here at the beginning of my trip to the US, and ended my stay here as I was flying out of Sacramento. Really loved my experience both times and would stay here again if I returned. Staff were fantastic and incredibly helpful. It was also great to be able to leave my bags at reception after check-out as I had a few hours to kill in the city before my flight. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're a couple or solo traveller.
I did not like that it was not mentioned that the double room I reserved did not have private bath, but shared bath instead
The space was decent and the sheets were clean. The bathroom felt clean and had shelves that made it easy to bring your stuff with you. The staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was basic but filling (tea/coffee/water, English muffins with peanut butter and jelly, yoghurt, hard boiled eggs, oranges/apples) — the only thing that would make it better would be juice. The building was also gorgeous inside. They also have a closet near the front desk to store your bags if you want, and there are cubbies in the room to lock up your stuff, but you need to bring your own lock (I think).
I was not informed before booking that check in for the dorm rooms was before 10:30 (evidently an email was sent after booking but it was sent to my spam folder so I didn’t see it before arrival — at midnight). But thankfully the front desk attendant let me check in with the request that I don’t turn the light on in the dorm when I went in, which wasn’t difficult using just the light from my phone. Parking is $6, but since I arrived late and was leaving before 8am, I was able to park on the street for free.
