Rooms were not comfortable at all. Wasn't clean or inviting and it looks like the place hasn't been updated in decades. I definitely will not be back

Pros (+) continental breakfast offered a lot of variety
Cons (-) the hotel smells, the first room we were given smelled worse. the walls are cracking with mold, the room felt damp, the bathroom was disgusting, the carpet is filthy, the phone didn't work in the new room and the water was cut off the next morning. the general manager choudhry walked around in a cheap suit like he was the GM of the Wilshire and didn't care one bit about our complaints.

Pros (+) The common pool area was big and seemed nice. Staff was okay.
Cons (-) Room hadn't been well-cleaned in ages. Carpets and flooors were dusty and dirty. Rooms are small which I can forgive but really neeeded a deep cleaning.

Cons (-) Noisy hallway traffic both nights. Rooms all have doors that slam shut loudly. Cheesy motel heater needed to run all night to maintain 70°f and it was only 34°f overnight.

Pros (+) super convenient to spend a night here before flying out of DTW, the shuttle left every 15 mins. my girlfriend and i enjoyed the overall layout of the place, and wished we could've stayed longer to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. would definitely stay here again

Pros (+) Location to Detroit airport. Very little outside noise. Could have been because hotel was almost empty.
Cons (-) Poor help. Room key did not work had to go back twice. Got stuck outside the hotel and had to walk completely around. AC controls did not function correctly. Unit was flashing low battery. could not use the auto function on the thermostat. So the fan never shut off and it was loud.Bathroom counter was so low it was almost not usable.
