The pool was great, room was cleaned daily although they missed one day!
There was no variety breakfast there's only so much boiled eggs one can eat in a week! The Gym oh dear that's really outdated. The rooms had some insects tiny but lethal. Initially I thought we thought we were being bitten by mosquitoes but we dint open the balcony door not once!! The air conditioner was very subtly blowing some cool air it dint work well infact a few times we had to check to make sure it's working. We tried the restaurant once but that was a waste of time and money too. Expensive and not worth it no wonder it was mostly empty and we struggled to get somewhere decent to eat nearby. Most of the staff dont speak English so equip yourself with a translating app!
Price, food, rooms, showers, service.
Amenities that were advertised were either, out of order, extra charge, or off limits. They should stipulate that there is additional costs to use these amenities.
The gentleman that was on reception the day we arrived was exceptional, went out of his way on both nights.
This hotel was very comfortable and well appointed, proximity to the airport and autostrade were a real plus.
We went to Mancini Park hotel for 3 days with my husband and 4-years old kid. We had a big bedroom with amazing balcony. The swimming pool was awsome and also the surrounding of the swimming pool and the gym with glasses facing the swimming pool. We had a long flight the last day and they allow us for a late check-out until the time of our flight for free, we used the swimming pool until then and it was very relaxing. We took a taxi to Fiumicino then (half an hour, very convinient for Rome , 45 euros) . We also tried the hotel restaurant twice, it was OK, a lot of variety and great grilled meat.
From the 3 days we visited Rome 2 of them just for a few hours since we mainly wanted to enjoy the swimming pool and have relaxing time. To go to city of Rome it is one hour trip: first taking a bus. We had to walk around 100 meters to the bus but the problem is that the walk is not really nice since it is by the street without a lot of safe space to walk. Also to come back we had to cross a bridge on top of the highway. It is safe but that was a bit scary for me. I think the hotel is not convinient if you want to go to visit the city of Rome for a long time instead of just relaxing in the swimming pool but it is great for families with small children that only want to go a few hours to Rome and then relax, as it was our case.
