The air con during the summer was a life saver and having decent restaurants near by was a plus. Was easy to get to from the station. Breakfast was lovely every morning and the staff were always helpful. The bed was always amazingly comfy.
The only thing we found odd was they didn’t have cold water at breakfast.
Central location, modern and well-designed (renovated) hotel with impeccable service. Hotel Memphis has been renovated with extreme attention to detail. The bathroom has a modern finish with glazed tiles and a rainforest shower. The room has all amenities, including a recessed tasteful night lamp, a USB charger by the bed, and a small shelf above the bed to hold the remote or anything you want to charge overnight. The fridge is small, but sufficient, and has a night light! There are fresh fruits in the room and the lobby at all times, a very welcome touch and a good way to get some carbs from food that is not pizza, pasta or gelato. The staff are friendly and helpful. They arranged a fantastic shuttle for me to the airport and also guided me through many daily activities. I will definitely be coming back and staying here the next time I’m in Rome.
The walls can be a bit thin; or maybe the person next door had the TV on too loud (he was watching a sports match of some sort). However, there was no noise from the street, so I slept like a baby once the next door TV was off.
brilliant location - central to so many of Rome's top attractions. friendly, welcoming, accommodating staff breakfast was adequate - provided all you needed to start the morning wi-fi was good fruit bowl in the room - very welcome bed was comfortable
Stayed there last year in a single room. For me, it was a little too small so I up-sized for my stay this year - all good!
The room was a bit too small.
The location is perfect for all types of visitors. Places of interest, restaurants, shops, cafeterias - everything is close. The staff is nice and helpful. They do everything possible to make your stay better. The fruits in the room and the permanent availability of snacks and water, tea, coffee in the lobby are a nice complimentary touch.
The small rooms are something you can expect in the center of Rome but the tiny shower cabin was an unpleasant surprise /at least in the room we were staying in/. The breakfast was rather basic with a limited choice. The soundproofing is also not the best feature of this facility.
A stay at Hotel Memphis places you in the heart of Rome, steps from Via Veneto and Piazza Barberini. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, limo/town car service, and dry cleaning/laundry services. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request).
