The room was very peaceful.
The double bed was not confortable because the mattress was split.
Firstly, it’s not a 4* hotel. The room was big, but the tv was extremely small and placed on one side of a huge mirror. They didn’t offer bath robes or slippers. The heat and airconditioning were not working. When we asked the staff at the reception, they said the hotel was making the transition from AC to heating and therefore, neither of them was working. The ventilation in the room and in the bathroom were also not working which made thw windows steam up. It was maybe a good thing the vent in the room wasn’t working as it was filled with dirt. The bathroom door made a horrible noise every time you opened it. We found a black hair on one of the towels. Because it was cold in the room, we had to use two extremely used blankets we found in the closet. The walls were thin and we could hear the conversations in the adjacent rooms. The breakfast wasn’t varied and they served the same things each morning.
Staff was extraordinarily friendly and welcoming!
While in principle this is a nice hotel, sound travels quite well in this presumably 1960s building, which made a little hard to sleep in my case, even when using hear plugs.
The staff at the hotel were fantastic. Really helpful advice and a warm welcoming smile. I will definitely use this hotel again.
Bacon and eggs for breakfast. But I am an English man abroad.
Free parking, clean rooms.
