Close to the center of town , lady at reception very helpful
The location was good, away from the main roads. Quiet at night. Friendly staff.
Despite the hotel not being busy when we stayed we were still allocated a room in the roof on the 5th floor. It was very hot and uncomfortable to sleep despite the windows being left open.
The hotel was charming, the room comfortable and the service friendly and efficient. The location could not have been better - right in the centre of town. Parking would have been difficult under normal circumstances but as it was Ascension Thursday there were no parking fees and these was a reduced level of traffic so finding a space (right outside the hotel) was a dream. There are many restaurants and bars in easy walking distance and, more importantly, the main sights of the old city are on the doorstep.
I understood from the booking information that breakfast was included but in fact it was not so that was a little bit of a surprise and pushed the final cost above what we had expected. However the choice and quality of the breakfast was great. Overall reasonable value for an hotel in the centre of the city.
Central location and close to all facilities and restaurants.
No car parking which maybe an issue. The breakfast was expensive for what it was. Otherwise it was fine.
The location was perfect for a city break. The parking was convenient, just across the road in an underground car park. The bed was very comfortable.
Our room had a shower over the bath. This can be very dangerous and is unusual in Hotels and B & Bs today. If we could have changed room we would have done but the hotel was full.
