Staff could be more available..but otherwise friendly
This property is a great location for people traveling to the Mayo Clinic. It was great to have a full-sized refrigerator and sink with counter-top. Due to COVID, there were no plates, utensils, etc... The floors have recently been redone to vinyl flooring. It is a good change over carpeting. The bed was acceptable but not as comfortable as my own. :) They also didn't have the breakfast open or even coffee available. Again, understandable in the current environment.
The room was pretty clean, however, there were spots that looked like they hadn't been cleaned for awhile. With most people traveling here for the Mayo Clinic, it is very important to ensure that they aren't exposed to anything, so cleanliness is important.
Staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, and accomodating
The first room had a funny smell and a leaky bathroom. I mentioned it to the front desk-- just so that it would be fixed after I left- it didnt bother me. The front desk insisted I move to a better room! Very nice appreciated but not necessarily.
The rooms were updated and comfortable
The hallways need better lighting. It’s dark and narrow. Cooking smells come from everywhere Obviously since extended stay. Heap filters in halls or better venting would help Lobby gets congested
Dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The elevator was dirty. Our room 310 was filthy! The floors, the mirror in the bathroom, the sink, tube, had not been cleaned! The bed had dirty sheets and dirty comforter and had not been changed from last guest. We checked out and went to a clean hotel for $30 dollars more then your rates. I will never stay at your hotel ever again. I won’t refer anyone either. Plain nasty!
