Cons: No air condition, so room was really warm. Also there's no lift.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely, quiet, clean and bed linen perfect with a very French view out of our window. The breakfast was that amazing and creative that I took several pictures of it. Being well travelled and having run guest houses, I can honestly say that this was THE best quality and laid out continental breakfast spread ever. The coffee was fab too. The hosts were so nice and couldn't be more helpful, helping me in with the cases and up the stairs to the room. The location of the hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the centre or a Carrefour City (small supermarket). One of the best, different, and lovely hotels I have ever stayed in worldwide, at any price bracket. We just loved it.
Cons: Nothing.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Nice size room with good heating. Breakfast was beautiful!
Cons: We had ground floor room facing into the courtyard. You couldn't really see out. Pillows were really uncomfortable.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The personal touch provided by the hosts is delightful especially after staying in a number of corporatised chain hotel (also perfectly fine in their own way).
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Bedroom was spacious and well presented. Breakfast was quite good though the breakfast room feels a bit cramped. Hotel location is very good.
Cons: Checkout was fine but could have been a bit more friendly e.g. I hope you enjoyed your stay at our hotel or hope to see you again soon.

Cons: old fashion rooms
7,1 Good
Pros: Free parking, great location, friendly staff but no English. Breakfast looked good but did not try. Rooms were big for old hotel. Bathrooms upgraded and clean. Wash cloths provided which is rare in European hotel.
Cons: No aircon, no elevator, noisy in the morning.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, amazing choice at breakfast, large room, place to store bike
Cons: Although windows kept out the noise from the street, the same was not true of the door to the room and the noise from other guests in the corridor, including the maids in the morning
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The position was excellent so close to so many very good restaurants. We were able to park with ease but it could be difficult at peak times.

Pros: Clean comfortable room. Very good beds and pillows. Good rain shower and bath towels. Charming building. A good choice of brasseries and restaurants nearby. Very friendly bar staff and very good choice of small nibbles and snacks. We eat outside in the restaurant. Location near canal, so very different. Very friendly and entertaining restaurant manager and her staff. Food was ok, but we had a good time. Inside also very classy interior.
Cons: That we had to leave. Maybe for the class of restaurant and hotel, food could be superior.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We really liked the room and the swimming pool. The location is also perfect. Breakfast is quite good too with a lot of choice.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Ideally situated for visiting all the attractions in Rochefort especially Corderie & L’hermione ship. Lovely staff so friendly and helpful especially the lady on reception Saturday pm/Sunday am. Tastefully decorated.
Cons: Thought it was very expensive for what it offered especially as breakfast was extra.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very comfortable, lovely comfy bed, great shower and loved the air conditioning. The outdoor terrace overlooking the river was delightful, and a pleasant place to sit to have a drink and eat. We had our dog with us and the hotel is dog friendly. Staff were very pleasant.
Cons: The food in the restaurant was poor, the choice was very limited and somewhat uninspiring. Also expensive.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: The dinner menu is limited. More variety needed.

Pros: Mr LeMaire the owner of the hotel, was very friendly and passionate... He gave us nice tips on what to see in the region. Very clean hotel with rooms based on themes: we had the Africa room. We had a very nice value for money breakfast ! Just a perfect stay giving very positive energy .... on top we had some explanations and music on the French musical “Les Demoiselles de Rochefort’
7,1 Good
Pros: Nothing particular. It was just ok.
Cons: Tried to speak French but the owner insisted on speaking English. As I speak good French and was keen to practice, I feel he should have provided good customer service and spoke in my language of choice. Often speaking the local language is the reason people travel. We had room 21 and had to carry heavy luggage up 2 flights of stairs - no lift. Parking is a nightmare and we had a lot of difficulty finding somewhere and then had to move the car or be towed away.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great welcoming by the owners. Close to city centre and close to our customer visit
Cons: The ceiling of the shower in my room was low but hey I managed to get a good shower

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Good value for money
7,5 Good
Pros: Hotel easy to find and close to the Corderie and Hermione. The private paid parking was a huge bonus. Spaces on street free parking seemed to be non existant!!! .
Cons: On arrival we were allocated room 306. The lift, surprisingly, only went up to 2?? On going down again and querying this with reception we were told we had to drag our suitcases up Stairs to the 3rd floor. With difficulty we managed this but why were we, in our 60s given this room without first being told about the lift!!! Terrible pillows.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were polite, kind, friendly and very helpful. We stayed there a couple of years ago and it has very much improved. The staff are well trained and behave in the manner usually only found in four or five star hotels. The breakfast was excellent, a large variety of options and delicious breads offered. The bed was extremely comfortable, firm but soft if that is possible? We had the best few nights sleep we have had in ages.
Cons: The towels were rather thin and there were no hand towels.
