Good location , possibility to park a car ( 15€)
Amenities and slippers in double room for 1 person only, maybe, it just a misunderstanding, but .... it’s time to think about new mattresses
Great hotel near the central station in Riga. Fantastic breakfast, comfortable bed. Value for money at least during winter season.
Breakfast place was quite small
Perfect hotel for everything Location, comfortable rooms, perfect staff, very good breakfast, fast internet.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the bed was so comfy! The facilities in the room were amazing; overall I had a wonderful stay and would certainly consider this hotel again should I return to Riga.
On arrival me and my partner both felt as though we were being looked down on by the man who checked us in. As couple in our early 20s we were really excited to be staying in such a well branded hotel, but both felt uncomfortable after completing check in. On booking, we were kindly offered a free room upgrade as me and my partner were travelling for our anniversary. When the gentleman who checked us in saw this free upgrade he looked at us in quite an offended manner and then laughed uncomfortably, continuing by giving us reduced eye contact. This made us feel like we weren't good enough to be there, which is a horrible feeling when you'd paid to stay there just like everyone else had. The only other fault I had is the spa facilities. On the website it states that there are massages available at a surcharge but when I asked reception if we could see a treatment list we were informed that they didn't actually do any treatments and if we wanted a spa we would have to go to the opera hotel just across the road. The facilities in the spa were quite minimal for accommodating such a large hotel and we found it quite crowded when trying to use them.
A brand new designer 4 star Superior hotel in the heart on Riga's historic centre occupying a magnificient 1901 Art Nouveau building designed by the world famous architect K. Peksens. Easy walking distance to Old Town and cultural land mark attractions: Freedom Monument, National Opera, Dome Square. Fine dining restaurant and bar, luxurious SPA, comprehensive conference facilities, free WIFI, large parking area, and next to the Central Railway station. Just 30 minutes from seaside resort Jurmala
