Pros: Great place, especially for families with children and the elderly. Very good breakfast in the form of a rich buffet. Practically on a sandy beach. Very well maintained and clean.
Cons: Strange method of booking tables for breakfast and dinner (cards with names on the tables - no tables for people who do not have dinner reservations). Fortunately, you can take a takeaway pizza.

Cons: Arrogant staff at the reception desk. Services through the hotel overpriced, with heavy mark-up. Vicinity of the river could make the beach muddy after rain.

Pros: The property is lovely, as you are surrounded by beautiful gardens and the beach was calm and super enjoyable. The rooms are okay, I was expecting more for the price - though it was high season. Definitely take advantage of their private sailboat to enjoy the fantastic coastal view and sea from Cape Vaticano to Tropea (addition cost, but worth the money). Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Upon arrival we were offered a suboptimal room that was not suitable for a family of 4 ( open loft concept, bathroom was the largest room-odd). Was provided a more suitable room a few hours later. However we wasted a few hours packing and switching rooms, with no AC on in either room. Not a great start to a long travel day.

Pros: The breakfast and the dinner (full board) were very well prepared and the staff were very willing to please the children and their needs. The staff at the front desk were wonderful and incredibly helpful. We were very impressed.
Cons: In comparison to previous years, the room was quite small and the cleanliness was that what I expected.

Pros: I met Teodora at the reception, she is kind, helpful and allowed me an early check in. All the staff are polite and nice! I had a double room (separate building which is in fact Residenza Luzia) that was large, with a big balcony with sea views. A/C, TV set and fridge in the room. Parking provided! Free shuttle bus to the hotel/beach. The Residenza has a large swimming pool with a great pool area, beautiful sea views and lush gardens. Nice sunset experience from the pool! The place is peaceful and tranquil! Very good value for money! Highly recommended!

Pros: The location was perfect as we had our own car so able to park. Facilities perfect breakfast was the best I’ve had in Italy.. they extended our check out which was helpful. However it’s a great family hotel so for a couple we found it a bit kid crazy .. but lovely all the same .. pool was busy with families and children fun .. not calm for couples .. but, the hotel was excellent in every way

Pros: Very nice facility. Friendly staff. Comfortable and updated room. Surrounding area and beaches are beautiful. Resort beach was nice, especially good for small kids. Great view of Stromboli with awesome sunsets. Lots of great restaurants near the resort and the resort has a good restaurant. Very relaxing and quiet stay.

Cons: Not a brilliant location if you mean bars, restaurant and nightlife. San Nicolo is a calm and quite area just for perfect rest with a a good views around.

Cons: We payed 405€ per night for 2 adults and 2 kids. The room was tiny with a very small bathroom. Smoke alarm was flickering 3 nights because loss of battery, I asked every day, no follow up. When complaining about the room the first day, another larger room was promised for the other 2 days, was not followed up and never mentioned again

Pros: Given the price it was well above average. I would say 4 star for 3 star price. Finally a typical Italian family run hotel that gets it. Great restaurant, moderately priced.
Cons: A bit far from the beaches but since we had a car no problem for us. The bathroom had a not level floor, bit dangerous.

Pros: Everything was just perfect. The room was super nice, we even had 2 large balconies, wonderful for chilling in the cooler evening. The host was amazing, always made sure we had everything and was super courteous . The room was always made even tho we like to go out later in the day, which is something I actually have never seen. The shower was great and the bed was comfy! There's a small beach at 20 min(walking), and you are not too far from the beautiful Tropea. There's a lot of free parking in the streets surrounding the property.
Cons: Even while being picky, I really can't think of a single wrong thing with this place.

Pros: The entire stay was great! The rooms are spacious and clean. Nice big balcony. Lots of selection for breakfast. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Gorgeous beach! Would definitely recommend.
Cons: The walk from the beach to the resort is difficult. Very steep. They should have a buggy system that people can use. The other issue with this place to be careful of is the drive from Messina especially if you are driving at night . You have to drive on offroads which are extremely dangerous because you cannot see anything and what is barely a one way road....is actually a two way!! Driving during the day is better but still very nerve wracking! Be cautious and drive while there is still daylight!!!

Cons: I highly recommend travelling in the daytime to the location, from Messina the roads are terrible. A cart should be available to have access to and from the beach. I highly recommend to add fresh fruit at breakfast.

Cons: The apartment was well below the expectations and the value for money absolutely not even closely there. Six people in a two bedroom apartment and single toilet, tiny shower and a bath with very poor access and a broken shower head. Furniture of about 15 years ago. Breakfast made of frozen croissant cooked in the oven, fruits from cans, not enough glasses, very poor quality juice. Restaurant quality mediocre. We paid the price of a 4 stars structure (considering the cost of living in Calabria) with the overall quality of a 2 stars one. We won't ever go back again.

Pros: Everything was great. Big spacious apartment with two bedrooms, kitchen, dinning area and a big bathroom. In front of the apartment there was a terrace with table and chairs. Pool was just a few steps away, fitness also. The surroundings were beautiful, very clean. The beach was perfect, the best in Capo Vaticano. The transport with a small car was organised every hour up to the apartments and down. One playground was by the apartment and one down by the beach. Staff were friendly and very responsive. We had some trouble with the shower and they fixed it right away.
Cons: There could be some bare necessities in the kitchen - such as cleaning detergent, dish sponge, salt...

Cons: Prices on listed products and sign boards were less than what was charged at till. Both times we asked about discrepancy after we were charged and both times given a different excuse. Be careful as I suspect the overcharging is systematic.

Cons: The apartament was full of dust, the complex look abandoned. The matress was very bad, the bed sheets and towels were stained, shabby and have a moldy smell. There were many ants. Personnel doesn't speak englesh, with a few exceptions.

Pros: Very good quality Price ratio. Hands down for the Host that really makes the expérience! She works 24/7 and with a wonderful smile. Try the farm to table bacon for breakfast. Beaches around capo vaticano are fairly busy but absolutely gorgeous. If you want a worldtop swimming expérience, swim along the cape itself!

The area is touristic and this there are many restraurants nearby and always pleasant to do a promenade in the evening -There is a free shuttle bus tip-from the sea which is very convenient when you go from the sea, since the path is up and by foot it would take rather long and difficult especially on the sun. -spacious and well equipped room - the hotel itself is freshly redecorated - good choice for breakfast and many fruits
Cons: For two days there were no ham&cheese for breakfast (supposedly, nobody refilled them when it was all gone or not bring it) , so there were no choice for those who do not like sweet breakfast (croissants/jams/cookies) The hotel’s workers don’t speak English which was ok for us since we spoke a bit Italian but may be troublesome for those who not

Cons: Four star hotel - nobody speaks a word in english, thank god for google translator. Room and the hotel was quite obsolete. No anti-mosquito messurments - very important. It is not funny to chase the mosquitos in the room and cant open the window at night when you would like to sleep. No internet wifi in the room! The worst thing experience was breakfast. The Calabrians probably eat mostly just sweets, almost no fruits, no vegetables. I dont get it when you see what quality they have at the markets. In the hotel of four stars, you expect some diversity and quality of the food not this terrible sweet madness of nothing. I would highly recommend the owner to send their stuff to learn even the basics of english and the basic European standard in service. Not even close.

Pros: The rooms are nice, clean, with amazing views. The breakfast is continental and rich. The location is very good, in the center, near the local supermarket and close to the best restaurants and a chic bar. Short walk to the Faro. 10-12 minutes to the beach or ask for the driver. The pool is clean. The staff is very attentive and kind and they do their best to meet the customers' demands.
Cons: The wi-fi doesn't work in the rooms. The cleaning isn't done daily.

Pros: Nice hotel with big territory, parking and private beach. Friendly staff, who show us the territory and brought our belongings to the room. Thanks to the hotel manager who complimentary upgraded our room. Very good restaurant with delicious food and wine. Free shuttle bus to private beautiful beach with crystal water (or either just 10 mins to walk there). We do recommend this place to stay.

We thought the music in the evenings was way too much - with one musician playing his songs in the bar, that completely interfered with the music from the animation team near by. Not very relaxing to say the least. Breakfast was ok. Dinner could have been better. Good restaurants near by though.

Pros: I met Teodora at the reception, she is kind, helpful and allowed me an early check in. All the staff are polite and nice! I had a double room (separate building which is in fact Residenza Luzia) that was large, with a big balcony with sea views. A/C, TV set and fridge in the room. Parking provided! Free shuttle bus to the hotel/beach. The Residenza has a large swimming pool with a great pool area, beautiful sea views and lush gardens. Nice sunset experience from the pool! The place is peaceful and tranquil! Very good value for money! Highly recommended!

Pros: Great swimming pool and views for the Sicily. Nice breakfast. There are shuttle buses few times per day and the staff is very helpful.
Cons: The Luzia place is a bit far away from the main Marinella building, but has incredible views and swimming pool so overall it's nice.

Pros: The location was perfect as we had our own car so able to park. Facilities perfect breakfast was the best I’ve had in Italy.. they extended our check out which was helpful. However it’s a great family hotel so for a couple we found it a bit kid crazy .. but lovely all the same .. pool was busy with families and children fun .. not calm for couples .. but, the hotel was excellent in every way
