Pros: The location of this hotel was perfect, only 5 mins walk to the old town. The staff were very friendly and courteous, especially the gentleman on night reception and the housekeeping staff. The pool was well-maintained and perfect for chilling out after a busy day in the City (although at various times during the day some of the loungers are shaded). Breakfast was fabulous, they really did have everything you could possibly wish for! We only ate here once for lunch but the food was exceptional.

Cons: The standard rooms are quite small and the ones we had were on top of a water pomp that was making noise every morning. Breakfast was average for a 5 stars hotel. No bottles of water offered in the rooms. We drunk bottles of water (plastic) from the minibar thinking they would be free of charge but we were mistaken (the price is indicated in the minibar list though). At the end of our stay (2 rooms, 5 nights) we ended up paying 50 € just for bottles of water that are offered even in 2 starts hotels. We asked not to be charged for the water (having spent more than 2500 EUR for the rooms and in the restaurant) but no gesture was made (hotel owner's policies we were told). The owner of this hotel is a mean guy!

I have travelled Europe many times & found that Greece always was one of the cheapest places in Europe & the most value, aside from being a beautiful country (especially the islands), but I have found this year all prices have increased, including the daily rate for hotels. I felt that what I paid per evening was too expensive for my young family and I.

Pros: Everything! No complaints at all, one of the best hotel I’ve ever been. The staff were amazing, great location, delicious food. Has 2 different bar that are open from 10 am till 2 am in the morning. The view from the room is amazing! I recommend choosing one with a view of the sea! The 3 restaurants outside are the best... You can order whatever you whenever you want. I loved it. Great experience. Will definitely go back again! Best deal you can get in Rhodes I think.

Pros: I had a great stay at Nikis Hotel! The location is perfect to explore the city, sightseeing and taking food. But also it is a more quiet place. You cant access the Place with the Taxi, but take a short walk. there is no breakfast but you can get some good and cheap nearby. the owner is super helpful and nice. Of course the building and the rooms are a bit older, but i like this charm and thats why i stayed there.

Pros: breakfast: pretty tasty, plenty of options, you should definitely ask the guy making pancakes for an omelet or two it's great. location: perfectly situated as a base for discovery operations, beaches on the both sides of the city are a couple of minutes away, as well as the Old Town entrance, getting to Acropolis (Monte Smith) is no problem, so do visit it in the evening for a breathtaking sunset view, shopping, restaurants and bus stations (ktel & roda) are all in the vicinity. wifi: perfect connection to use a streaming service. room keeping: daily minor cleanups + daily change of towels + change of pool towels on request. all the staff we interacted with during our stay had been exceptionally polite, sincere and helpful, thanks a ton for that.

After 2 days the room key card didnt work so had to go to reception. The only good part of hotel was its location.

Pros: This hotel is located out of Old Town Rhodes, which is perfect to get out of the touristy area. It's a short walk to Old Town, the harbour where tourist boats leave and the beach. Having a swimming pool after walking around in the sun all day is excellent and the breakfast in the morning is totally amazing.

Cons: note, these were not major problems for us, but still might be for someone, so still worth mentioning. air conditioning: was a tad insufficient in our room, so in the evening it would get really hot, but we managed to solve this with manager's help in a day. balcony: we stayed at 529, the balcony is really small there, no room for a table, so should this be an important amenity for you, do check your options with a manager, but note that as a bonus (I guess it is valid for all the *29 rooms) you get a bathtub instead of a shower + an opaque window which makes it easier to dry your stuff in the bath. cleanliness: note to the room keeping staff, guys check the tv back panel(even though it is under the ceiling), it was covered with the "dust witnesses" of the previous summer :)

I asked to be moved to another room with shower, I was told they had no shower and I was offered another room with the same identical bathroom but at a higher floor. I did not accept as I did not like the bathroom, and had no problem with the second floor. So staff was willing to help but was not able to solve the problem

Pros: The hospitality team was really very nice and helpful, there were a lot of different entertainments as live music and greek evenings, the beach is cross the street, there are a lot of facilities as pool, supermarket, the place to leave baggage and take a shower for these, who check-out earlier than has a plane. Pros: Located just 10 minutes walk from the old city and 200 m from the sea, the hotel is clean and provides a great hospitality. The staff was outstanding, especially Marian, Alexandros, Eva and charming hostess Egla. The breakfasts and dinners are tasty with many choices of dishes.The hotel has almost every night events in the bar and special greek night on Friday. Overal experience was awesome and we definitely recommend this hotel.

Cons: WiFi is VERY poor. Both in the room (i Was in 342) and in reception/hall/Common areas.

Cons: Only stopped over one night as we were staying in pefkos, unfortunately I left my iPhone charger so I emailed the hotel to see if they could post it on to my apartment in pefkos, gave them all the details and they never mentioned anything about the cost. 5 days later it arrived and cost me €14.60 absolutely disgusted and I’ll never use or recommend this hotel again. Talk about customer service!!!!

To the NE the changing colours & interesting 'moods' of the Aegean Sea and Turkish coast line with snow capped mountains beyond -quite lovely and a daily visual feast! To the East: spectacular sunrises most mornings of my extended Autumn-Winter stay. A great place to enjoy the large variety of bird life and butterflies around Rhodes town ;which is an unexpected, bonus surprise- especially from the top floors.The establishment and the surrounding area are serene, peaceful, low-key and safe. The sublime sounds of church bells drifting across the neighbourhood a few times during the week and of course on Sundays, complete this great choice of accommodation in Rhodes town. The apartment was adequate,clean, comfortable; and excellent value for money ; with joyously fast and reliable wifi. There is a big supermarket a few minutes away & a delightful organic farm produce shop around the corner. The taxis & buses is a convenient 3- min walk to the end of the street; with more shops & banks a little further on approx. 5-7 mins walking. Interspersed with modern island life are historical ruins dotted all around, in the vicinity of the hotel. The Acropolis is a pleasant and easy 15 mins walk from the hotel location. The staff and owners are discreet and welcoming.

Cons: It was in the slums, apartment smelled like mold, shower gel was half used when we arrived, dusty, garbage in front of the apartment, a man who seemed like the owner was incredibly rude to my family on both nights we stayed, facilities are dated, leaking air conditioning in front of our door. The manager didn’t allow us to have one family member as a guest to talk for ten minutes in the large apartment that we paid for... there was nothing I liked minus the space in the apartment but the smell of mold and mildew outweighs that.

Cons: Most ridiculous internet policy ever. We forgot to ask for the Wifi code when we checked in. When we asked 30 min later for the passcode, the receptionish said. "Why didn't you ask for the code when you checked in? Now, It's too late, I can't give you access to our wifi network until the morning"". Unbelievable - if they knew this was a problem they could have provided the code as part of the check-in process. But also a bit older and worn with not the most comfortable beds.

Cons: Shower could be improved, the curtain isn't long enough to keep the water in the little tray so the water goes everywhere, and if you put the shower on full power it flies out of the holder.

Cons: OK, it was a cheap room and you do not have to wait that It will exceed your expectations. But I think cleanliness should be a standard in hospitality. Moreover, the doors are old and because of the wind, they beat the night. The worst thing was that it sounded like something was ringing from another room on ours.
