Pros: Very good hotel, clean, new equipment of the rooms, beds very comfortable. Nice staff, position is perfect also if you are coming to Rennes to visit other cities by train.

Pros: The staff had read my requests for a quiet room. They made the effort to get us the quietest room I think we've ever had. They were very helpful, worked with us and our poor French skills, and cheerful. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros: Location is perfect. Easy access to station and rent a car. Stuff is friendly and after check out, They can keep luggage for me.

Cons: The bath tab was not clean. When I took a bath, the surface wasn’t clean. I had to clean the surface before I took a bath.

Pros: All the good things about this hotel were completely wiped out because staff wrongly refused us parking and for all the wrong reasons.

Cons: We booked through booking.com for a 2-night stay, and informed the hotel in advance that we needed car parking space in the hotel. We knew the height limit of the car park was 2m, and our car was just under 2m, but when we got to the hotel we were told we could not park as our car was over the height limit of 2m. I explained that was not the case, and that it would fit with no problem, but staff insisted it was not possible. So we had to park on the street, and pay, but worst of all the maximum stay permitted was just 5 hours, forcing us to return to the car in the middle of the day to remove it. We had to abandon our plans to visit Rennes. The next day I again insisted that our car was not too large for the car park, and the different receptionist allowed us to try and drive in. We did so, and there was no problem at all. Very disappointed that this hotel spoilt our stay in Rennes, by refusing to honour our advance reservation of a car parking space. All the good things about this hotel were completely wiped out because staff wrongly refused us parking and for all the wrong reasons.

Cons: Parking needs to be pre booked because it was difficult to find on street parking close to the hotel. The beds were comfortable but very narrow.

Pros: Great location, quiet, bar on the corner of the street and nice staff who spoke English. great WiFi. 20 Min stroll from rennes central train station Helpful staff who were able to hold my bag from 11am arrival until 3pm check in so I could get on with my stay. Would visit again :)

Pros: Extremely clean rooms, the staff was exceptionally helpful. We are traveling with two young kids and the room were spacious and comfortable. We had a great time.

Cons: I would have liked a very dark room to help me sleep better. The street lights outside were numerous and bright even on the 4th floor

Cons: No ventilation in the room or air conditioning. Need to keep windows open to get any air. However apartment was above a square of restaurants and the noise floated upto the room.

Pros: Staff were very helpful. Decor is good. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast looked good but we didn't have any - it seemed expensive and we had to leave early.

Cons: There is no reception desk so it is difficult to deal with staff - there is no desk or table. The bedroom area was quite small (as with many hotels in France) with very limited space for storing cases, clothes etc.. Bathroom was very small and there is no sound insulation between the bedroom and bathroom.

Pros: Everything we needed for our 1 night stay, comfortable bed, a small kitchen area with a kettle, fridge, microwave, sink, table and chairs and tv! Small, cosy and quiet! Very friendly staff. 10 min walk to the centre where there was a very vibrant night life.

Pros: Fairly spacious with plenty of plug sockets to recharge all the gadgets. A good selection for breakfast. Altogether, very functional - and a good price.

Cons: Knowing how to access the car park before arriving would have been useful. It wasn't a problem as we parked in front of the entrance and were given an electronic key fob once we went to reception (though we did block someone in temporarily whilst doing this).

Cons: Good to have some kitchen facilities and made use of them, but a little sparse. Coffee filter machine but no filters supplied so only usable if you purchase a full packet.

Pros: The first hotel I have stayed in to feature electrical wall sockets with usb outlets,a very welcome development.Moving around the building there is evidence of somebody taking trouble to add interesting decorations in all sorts of places.Great value stay.

Cons: The noise level was rather high both from external and internal sources.I got rather concerned when the tiny lift lost it's lights and the illuminated control buttons went dark.After a few moments it came back but the door was still very sluggish;after this experience I used the stairs.

Pros: The hotel is very nice and fancy. The bar, reception desk and hall are like real small museum! The little lift is very unique. It's quiet, atmospheric place and our room was tidy and clean. There is 2 km distance to the centre but you can go on foot there, you don't need to get a bus.

Pros: Amazingly quirky hotel with all sorts of bric-a-brac and collectables on the landings and in the breakfast room. Rooms are small but functional and the wifi works. Breakfast was a huge buffet of all sorts of different food, with a coffee machine and orange press for you to operate yourself. Big car park.

Cons: Although there's a lift inside, there's a huge flight of steps to get to the front door. Limited clothes storage and no room for side tables by the bed.

Pros: Nice place, small room but perfect for a good night sleep and a shower in the morning. Small details add extra value. Airfreshner in the bathroom, blinds, large windows that open.. Stayed for 7 nights and outside of the usual wifi frustration I can't say a bad thing.
