This is a typical Hilton Garden Inn. If you stayed in one everything about this one will be familiar. The lobby and guest rooms all have that familiar feel to them.
What was different about this stay was the bed. It was horrible. It was hard like a rock but not a luxury hardness this felt cheap and not like the typical beds at other Hilton Garden Inns I’ve stayed before. It made for a horrible not restful night.

Hotel was in a perfect location, near restaurants, shopping and downtown Palm Desert. Staff was friendly, and the lobby and bathrooms were really clean. Mattress was firm but pillows were nice. Other room amenities were excellent - TV, bathroom, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc.
The elevator was dirty and smelled bad, and the air conditioning unit smelled a little like urine (probably from water issues). Sheets were a little on the rough side. Overall, very minor issues given the price.
