Flight delayed by 4 hours due to cross-winds at Devonport. That bit is understandable.... however I understand the crosswinds dropped in less than four hours and it was a combination of weather + crewing issues. But the real problem was that my flight was originally scheduled for Launceston and they cancelled my Launceston flight, so I opted to go to Devonport instead. If Qantas hadn't have cancelled my Launceston flight, I would have been home much earlier as the Launceston Airport didn't have the crosswind issues. Qantas - get your act together and treat your customers with respect!
Seats are comfortable
Leaving from Brisbane in July 2022, we had not been asked about Covid over 3 weeks in Australia, including our Qantas flight to Australia or through customs or entry. Upon checking to leave, Qantas screened us for Civid and symptoms 4 separate times. The staff treated us poorly, including difficulty checking in, adding bags, getting the bags checked in, etc. They have changed their policy from 2 bags international to only 1 bag and the 2nd bag was $200. The flight wasn't even completely full, so I would have paid them something for a second bag, anything short of $200. There were so many details that frustrated me that I have changed my opinion about flying Qantas to "not interested." I'm certainly not willing to pay more to fly Qantas!!
Qantas personnel have a high opinion of themselves and don’t really like to serve the client. This is compounded by the overall experience of traveling in Australia. I get the felling that they would rather I didn’t.
Mostly on time for takeoff & departures
Boarding at Vancouver was poorly managed
It was very good
Bring back Avod to the back seat.
I've always preferred Qantas, and the service is still generally good, but someone has taken their eye off the food offering. Back from NZ it was noodles with a sauce in a cardboard box. No cheese and biscuits, no sweet. Air Tahiti/Air Cailin, etc.. give a decent meal while on International.
Always friendly and professional. Customer service AAA+++
Friendly, courteous and professional. A thoroughly enjoyable flight. 👍😊
The air hostess was really kind and friendly. Seats seem to have gotten smaller, it felt almost like a domestic flight seat, not as much leg room as I remember. Maybe it was just an older plane
Flight delayed. Food ok bordering on mediocre. Pleasant attendants.
For 5 hours and 1/2 they just ignore passengers needs
Quantas international is the best
Lost luggage Sydney airport is horrible but the flight was great
Baggage delivery was poor in Brisbane. And they treated the bags badly. I lost 2 Q readers and they damaged bags. I know they are not happy with Qantas but wasn't really necessary
Flight delayed twice, first in Auckland, then in Melbourne! To top it off my bags went missing. Been on the phone with 5 different people/ departments, still no luck. Never flying Qantas again!
My check in experience was terrible as I was trying to move this flight due to a delayed international connection.
Flight is delayed to take off and boarding took long time. Crew is not friendly and they think we are living on their courtesy. Just given one dinner and breakfast and nothing else offered in between like at least water or coffee
Delayed departure. No legroom at all in Economy. Baggage reclaim was quick.
Main problem was that the inflight entertainment system did not work on two legs of a Sydney to London Heathrow flight. They tried very hard to fix it in Sydney and Singapore without success. Apart from that, a very comfprtable flight
For 5hr flight should be better bigger meal
Information on the screens about to track the journey on real time during the flight should be shown
Departed and arrived late, breakfast meal missed as fridge broke.
Flight departed and arrived late, breakfast meal was missed due as fridge broke.
Crew were great. Food was good but could have been a little better
The only vegetarian food is also vegan, this primarily consisted of tiny trays of overbuild veg that must have contained about 150 calories, after about 12 hours I felt like I was literally starving. As I'd been stuck in the middle seat going to the galley to request snacks was difficult. I would buy your own food in the airport.
