Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda

The Bahia Principe is one of the smaller, more luxurious options in the Bahia Principe resort complex. With an airy, relaxed scene and beautiful surroundings, this seaside locale seems to attract an even mix of families and couples.

There are five separate resorts offered at the Bahia Principle complex. The Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda is directly on an area of Arena Gordon Beach, offering a nice stretch of sand and ideal swimming conditions for all ages. Not much can be found outside the resort gates.

On-site at the resort, guests have unlimited access to a range of restaurants and bars, as well as other amenities across the complex. Restaurants include la carte restaurants like Tex Mex, Mediterranean, Italian, Spanish, seafood, and Japanese. Nightlife options include the disco and 24-hour snack bar, where guests can keep the party going after the lobby bar closes. Directly on-site food options include the main buffet with specialty themed nights and the Snack Arrecife.

Guests often choose this beach hotel location for the turquoise waters. Ideal waves for swimming, unlimited use of non-motorized water sports, and beach and lounge chairs are some of the perks. There are two pool areas for kids and adults, as well as a kids’ playground and Bahia Spa.

Esmeralda has 570 cheerful rooms with colonial-style furnishings and modern bathrooms. Unlike most resorts that offer numerous room types, there is only one type at this hotel, the Deluxe Junior Suite. Vacationing families or couples can choose from one king bed or two full beds with canopies and pillow menus. In-room amenities include a terrace/balcony, sofa bed, flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers, and minibars stocked with beer, soda and small liquor bottles.
