Fernando the manager was very helpful when there was an issue and there was a gift in our room to say sorry when we arrived. The pool is big and there are plenty of loungers.
The dining room in the evening was very quiet with just a few guests eating there.
They don't sell wine by the glass in the restaurant
Very comfortable king size bed. Balcony. Great breakfast and in-house restaurant. The facilities are excellent, including pool and spa among others. Very spacious lobby and areas to hang out. Very friendly and chatty restaurant waiters.
I decided to go to this hotel with my spouse because I had been there decades ago with my family as a child. My memories brought me back to it. Unfortunately I must say some common areas and the room we got felt outdated, and that needs a bit more of maintenance /replacement (little paint details needed on room door frames, AC system, corridor carpets and bed blankets). Bathroom seemed to have been renovated recently but remain with dated light and plumbing fixtures aside from being just average size and looking, for what I consider a 4 stars hotel with those amazing spacious facilities. I definitely expected more and my spouse felt the same especially from the room itself. Our room was spacious though it lacked one bedside table and more outlets to charge devices on the night. The only close outlet I had was needed for the bedside lamp which was on a desk table instead. The biggest issue we had was the wifi which worked well on our phones but not at all on our laptops. We didn't bring this issue later on to the front desk in our rush and short time in Iguazú. I believe it was some kind of technical /protocol problem. The pools is very good and big, I just wish it had a bigger and more fun bar. Lastly the front desk was just ok in my opinion. They were not particularly friendly or fully engaged in our questions other replying politely what needed and nothing else (I asked for some information about an animal reserve and the wifi connection as we arrived). Contrarily the waiters and team at the restaurant were super friendly, talkative and engaged in nice conversation with us.
Good decoration and environment.
Our sleep is weak, and the air conditioner was too noisy even at the lowest operating level.
Desayunar super abundante y perfecto, Nice housekeeping and tropical view. Strongly recommend the swimming pool.
