decent breakfast + clean rooms + AMAZING location + friendly and polite staff + large rooms - The pillows on the bed were literally the worst pillows I’ve encountered in an hotel. A piece of cardboard has more thickness in it. Throw them away and buy some new ones. - I’m all for sustainability and not having multiple small toiletries, but a 4 star hotel shouldn’t provide a shampoo product that doubles as a body wash… that’s very youth hostel. - No iron or ironing board in the room. - The water pressure is pretty poor. - The tea was only replenished once during our stay. - The hotel is a tad dated, it’s in good condition and is well looked after but the decor is a little dated. In summary, I can see why it’s scored so high on Google and hotel booking sites, but from our point of view it’s probably more aligned to a 3 to 3 ½ star hotel. The location makes up for the negatives, as it truly is located in a great spot. Everything we needed was within a 10 minute walk, which was great!

Pros:Clean, mostly helpful staff, modern hotel. Fine breakfast. Satisfactory WiFi.
Cons:I missed the first two nights of my stay because of missed airline connections, owing to a medical emergency of another airline passenger. I called as soon as the plane eventually landed. I was 5 hours past the cancellation deadline at this point (5 a.m. Prague time) and the reservation staff was not at hotel. I called 9 a.m. Prague time and explained, asking they not cancel my reservation. This happened two nights in a row due to airline intransigence. Reservation staff refused to budge on refunding either night's stay, even after I had to extend the stay by one day and spend another $150. I thought this very poor customer service.

Pros:I had a comfortable and pleasant stay at the grand majestic plaza. The location was great to walk down to all the major attractions, room were clean and beds comfortable and wifi worked great in the room. The breakfast was a good spread and they even make omelette or hard boiled eggs on request.
Cons:I wish they had a gym. And found the housekeeping to be lacking - one day they forgot to put back the shower gel, which was frustrating to discover after stepping into the shower. And sometimes they'd forget to restock hand towels.

Pros:Great walking distance to everything with good facilities and friendly staff. Rooms were very nice as well. I reccommend staying here.
