Cons: Expected a buffet breakfast but because few people in hotel it was served, but no menu so you had to tell what you wanted.
7,9 Good
Pros: Location is great. Breakfasts and dinners are good. Personal is always there to help you.
Cons: Sometimes neighbours are noisy so you have to change your room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for a reasonable price
Cons: Booked the room via booking.com, where we entered the age of our children 7 and 3. Offered a triple room which we knew would be adequate as the 3yr old would share a bed no problem and this also kept the price to a reasonable level for us, however hotel manager wasn’t pleased with this and made quite a fuss about the number of people in the room. So either booking.com is to blame or the manager, however we just followed the website recommendations.

Cons: Nothing really.

Cons: There was nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, just 100 meters from the spot where buses to Granada stop; Very warm in the end of October, radiators at max power :) Relatively very good price for value comparing to other available places in Capileira at that time. All very clean.
Cons: Very small and only one window in the room I had - not a big problem if coming late and leaving early the next day though.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location and clean and comfortable.
Cons: No heating or first night and the temperature outside was 5 degrees. The owner put the heating on for the second night when requested.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very nice and accomodating. They provided us with a kettle and a few utensils we needed which was really appreciated, knowing this was not on offer normally. Good location in town next to lookout of mountains and very close to bus station. Room was clean and cleaned daily. The owners allowed us to store our bags during the day of checkout in a locked room which was fantastic.
Cons: Could do with a kettle in the room to allow guests to make tea/coffee. Facilities lacked a kitchen or fridge to help make food prior to a hike etc

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Room , location, staff
Cons: The Spa did not open till 13.00, as a non skiers we looking forward to using it in the mornings.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Plenty of food choice
Cons: The heating didn’t come on in the room, but the towel rail did, I couldn’t work out the controls for the heating. In general the food was warm or cold
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: Over priced. Front desk staff was never helpful. Our room had a very bad smell and we could not get a new room. Only thing they could offer was a machine to help get rid of smells.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Not a lot. The room was OK but it was odd to have ceramic floor tiles in a ski resort hotel. Rituals bathroom products very good.
Cons: The dining room was incredibly noisy, like being in a very large low quality cafeteria. The interior design involves hard surfaces everywhere which amplifies the noisy behaviour of the guests. Very poor selection (almost non existent) of healthy options for those that don't want to clog up their arteries with animal products. TV channel selection amazingly poor. No English channels except CNN and Bloomberg, despite fact that high % of non Spanish visitors mostly English speakers
6,0 Good
Pros: The breakfast is good
Cons: It is too dark in the room, lighting is far too dark and not enough
5,0 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: Very small room for the price - and having to pay to use the spa facilities
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel was very nice. Great location. Breakfast buffet had everything. Very nice staff. Loved the spa.
Cons: The room was very hot. I hardly slept the first night. The second night we asked for the heater in the bathroom to be turned off and it was better. Still quite hot but not as much as the fist night. I think they should really turn the heat down in the hotel.
6,7 Good
Pros: Generally good all round
Cons: Nothing. Not happy with booking .com Giving false info to secure bookings AGAIN. The hotel was good but far over priced for a two night stay. Will look at other booking companies from now on.

Pros: Good location to chair lift and good access to ski slopes for experienced skiers. Good view from our room 303, and handy balcony for storing milk and snacks. Good breakfast. Two lifts to all floors. Very good staff in all areas. Cheap ski hire in the hotel, €70 for 6 days. Easy, secure and reasonably priced parking for €10 a night.
Cons: Room had a few issues with maintainable. The bathroom door would not close, the tiling was rough with some grouting falling out around the toilet door and the light was intermittent. The food on the first night was below average but picked up during the week. Our ski locker was against a wall making it difficult to operate the padlock. No kettle in room but bought our own. Late start for dinner.

Cons: Upgrade in beds would be good.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location That’s it
Cons: Food quality poor , limited choice. Restaurant like a cattle market absolute mayhem . Noise !!!!!! OMG I’ve skied in many countries these have no clue with regard guest and their right to sleep . 3am disco bum bum . 7am clip clop snow boots in hotel on tiled floors . Maximum 4 hours sleep !!! Need to sort a ski room like the other countries do !!!! A must !!!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location,room
Cons: More option with food
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location , price was great as start of season only 67€ for one night including breakfast. Breakfast was good for the price value. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The only down side was I could not turn the radiator up so I was cold. I selected a twin room which I selected because it had a view which was fine as the beds where pushed together anyway, but it was with only one double quilt, however there was spare wool blankets in the wardrobe which I didn’t see u till the next morning :) I would definitely recommend this hotel. I will definitely like to stay again. Thanks
Cons: Radiator wouldn’t turn up (or it was not working by turning the knob) it was less than warm so I was cold in the night- however it was better than being too hot like a lot of hotels or apartments up there!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent and the room we had was huge. The staff were all exceptionally friendly.
Cons: Pillows were not the comfiest. The coffee from the machine at breakfast is terrible

8,3 Excellent
Pros: location was great; flat clean; lockers
Cons: The mobile phone door access didn't work, we had to wait for another person to deliver some keys, which were much better. We weren't told the front door access code to get into the building and the instructions to find the entrance to the building wasn't too clear. Was expecting to have a separate bedroom - a curtain at least would be an improvement.
5,0 Okay
Pros: - location
Cons: -keys didn’t work (twice). Had to wait more than one hour for help to arrive both times. - there were no sheets to all beds in the room when we arrived. Got them around 21:00. -sofa had not been cleaned for a while
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location was great, almost as close to the lifts as you can get
Cons: There was no one at the property to help us. The parking situation whilst not directly the accomodation’s responsibility is a real challenge. We arrived in resort at midday and couldn’t park anywhere in the village making dropping children and cases off really difficult. Then as we’d arrived early we couldn’t leave them anywhere. The accommodation itself was tired, cramped and just not great. The bathroom was tiny, and again tired
6,5 Good
Cons: we were really lost when we arrived - we didn´t know where to pick up our key and how to get in, although we had informed our arrival time - the telephone number we had received was with an automatic telephone machine in spanish - if it wasn´t for a nice woman in a pizza place who spoke a bit of english and helped us I don't know what we would have done - and we arrived very late, around midnight (but they knew that) so there were hardly any people up in this small village.... The picture of the building on booking.com and reality doesn't match - not even the name, it is called Indian palace or something in reality - so we were really confused when we arrived and first thougt we'd been fooled or something. So things must be fixed - tell your customers that they have to pick up their key at hotel this and this in the reception - put the right phonenumber on the page and on the door and change the picture so it matches reality.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Strategic position, friendly and professional staff, clean room. Water and Wine welcoming bottle!
6,7 Good
Pros: Excellent location
Cons: No towels changed in 5 days Apt not serviced no bins removed Under beds very dusty

8,3 Excellent
Pros: I have used this hotel for my ski ing trips to Spain's Sierra Nevada mountains for over twenty years. I think that in itself says enough but in recent years I have seen an improvement in the hotels restaurant and bar. I generally stay half board and the food selection for both breakfast and dinner is far more varied than it used to be and the facilities in the spacious bar are much improved. I chose this time to stay in one of the hotels cabins rather than in a hotel room. I can thoroughly recommend this as each of the stone built cabins has an open fireplace enabling you to light an open fire, firewood provided free, in the evening which is very cosy and atmospheric. In the hotel you are able to book ski lessons and hire ski equipment, which is much more convenient in my opinion, than doing it in the ski village. The company is called Granada Aventura and I hired equipment for my grandchildren there. Mario is the name of the gentleman organising the equipment rental and I found him extremely helpful. He also arranged ski lessons for them with one of their instructors named Louis who was absolutely excellent.
Cons: The free WiFi leaves a lot to be desired. I found it very slow and at times non existent.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: This was my third stay at Santa Cruz. While the hotel is situated several kilometers from the ski slopes, it offers bus transportation to and from the slopes for a token fee. This hotel is much reasonably priced than the hotels at the base of the slopes. The rooms are spacious enough and comfortable enough. The meal set-up is buffet type and the food is plentiful.
Cons: The hotel caters to large groups of school children who are pretty noisy at meal times. There is no ski-storage room at the hotel.
6,0 Good
Pros: Mario, the guy who runs the ski “shop” was very friendly and helpful with any issues we had during our stay, it was the highlight of our stay at hotel Santa Cruz.
Cons: Lots of very noisy kids in the bar area. Our bathroom was a bit smelly, one of the pillows were inadequate
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: A bit "run down" needs to be renovated.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Simple and easy to find, rooms were lovely and warm
Cons: No hot water, but I think it was the time of day when everyone had returned from Skiing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great value for the money and great location.
Cons: It caters for school trips.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Didn't speak English but they try the best. Nice BBQ outside restaurant. They really care about the guests.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The room was clean.
Cons: It was crazy will kids running wild late at night. As it is a Spanish hotel, tiled floors, the noise travelled. Requested a quiet room - got the room opposite life and stairs! Food at dinner was cold. Breakfast & dinner - mostly processed food including meats and cheese.

Pros: The food was fantastic. The staff were very attentive though, almost no English was spoken.
Cons: My toilet cistern was constantly running with water. It was noisy letting people store skis and boots in their rooms meant very noisy clattering both before and after midnight.
7,0 Good
Pros: Location is awesome
Cons: Bed quite uncomfortable and too hot in the room, couldn't turn off the radiators.
5,8 Okay
Pros: We knew it was cheap for a ski resort, old out of date but okay for one night.
Cons: Being a hotel and hostel we had a lot of school kids in and they were very noisy until late at night keeping us awake
6,7 Good
Pros: The staff was really nice and also they gave their best helping to make the best out of the location which is unfortunate very old.
Cons: Then mattresses are really awful.
7,5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was a great start to the day. Room was lovely and warm and the bathroom was great. Very large room in fact My only gripe is its quite a trek up several flights of stairs after a days skiing Other than that a great place to stay
