Porto Alegre hotels near Rio Grande do Sul Museum of Art

Pros: Receptionists, servers and staff were all exceptional. The size of the rooms. The elevators worked well. The breakfast was very good.

Cons: The toilets were small and hard to flush, the shower was ok.

Pros: Location- staff and facilities

Pros: The reception staff helped me to contact the tour companies .. they were helpful and smiling

Cons: I am a traveler traveling around the world .. I came to Porto Alegre 3 nights and do not have time to search .. I want quick information.. There is no office to provide information service and tourist reservations.. A hose must be placed inside the bathroom ... better than washing the old system!!

Pros: Location, amenities, breakfast.

Cons: Old rooms, carpet floor not clean, humidity smell...

Pros: Superb swimming pool in rooftop - very nice staff, very professionals (reception, bar, cleaning services) : very pleasant, thank you! :) - big apartment, very quiet, good shower, wifi work perfectly, 2 nice little balconies in the apartment - perfect location to visit Porto Alegre and near to nice places

Cons: Little details : no product to clean dishes, no boiler to make coffee or tea. Room a bit old style but for the price it's really not a problem

Pros: Very big appartment, very confortable bed and good shower - superb swimming pool on the rooftop - amazing view of the city - very nice staff (reception and bar), thank you for the nice stay! Will be back there one day!

Cons: I was at the hotel during COVID-19 so the room was not clean even once - only the toilet once. Not even the breakfast tray served was taken. All the facilities were shut due to the virus and I specifically booked it because of the pool, sauna and restaurant. I understand that it was closed for health reasons but even breakfast was delivered every day in a trolley but I must say it was basic and mediocre. It is important to mention that regardless all the facilities were closed I was still charged full price. My biggest disappointment was at checkout as I was rushing to the airport (my Uber car was already waiting for me) and the receptionist wanted to charge me double for a coffee as it came with some milk (!!!). I mean, who does that? Put the guest in a situation where they risk to miss their international flight due to a pathetic overcharge claim! I told the receptionist I did not agree paying double and I was going to leave and he said "I can not let you go without paying for that". What a nonsense and so unprofessional! I was forced to pay as i did not want to miss my flight but I told the receptionist that although I go to Porto Alegre quite often... I would not go back to that hotel and the guy told me "Sure, suit yourself". Do these people not get any training!? Needless to say my breakfast was basic so there was a day that I didn't even want it but they dare to charge me double for an espresso at the reception lounge. Bad business attitude! Bottom line: they lost a frequent customer potentially worth thousands of Brazilian real.

Pros: Clean, comfortable, helpful staff, GOOD WIFI!

Cons: It should return to bê a fulo-service hotel. As it is, there are excellent installations, very good breakfast, but nothing else.

Pros: The room was nice and very comfortable, with a nice, big bathroom. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was very good, with a nice view of the city from the top floor of the hotel. The location was also very good, within walking distance from everywhere that we needed to go and just a short taxi ride from the airport.

Pros: Nothing, it is not a 4 start for sure.

Cons: Old, without good structure, elevator seems that will be tear down, no room services, no comfortable bed or pillows, the bathroom is small and old .

Cons: The furniture was old and not well maintained, the shower was a nightmare because it was impossible to set a good temp. It always came out or very hot or cold

Cons: Bad location . Close to the market and bus station but very unsafe area. The rooms were spacious and clean but we could not sleep at night due to the noise . Water from somewhere outside was falling in a tin roof making noise the whole night .

Cons: Lift , noisy needs servicing , area outside room scruffy, in need of renovation. A moderate price, cheap, you get what you pay for!!

Pros: Cleanliness

Cons: Location and the hotel doesn't look we'll maintained.

Pros: The only good thing was the shower, it had HOT water!

Cons: Absolutely terrible room, NO HEAT, very dirty and old, curtains falling apart, window seals have never been cleaned and a pungent smell in the bathroom!!

Cons: Neighbourhood is a bit dodgy at night.
