5,4 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was pretty good and the old building of the hotel was very nicely renovated.
Cons: Misleading pictures of the rooms during booking. Stuff looked tired and not happy being there. We could not open the window, TV was far away from bed. Bed linen were old and worn out. The shower mixer wasn't mixing the hot and cold water properly so there were moments where you would either feel the hot or the cold water only...
6,7 Good
Pros: Very nice location and view!
Cons: Wall to wall carpets in the rooms, very 80s and not very hygienic.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very polite friendly and helpful staff.Nice quite location, very clean.Excellent breakfast. Thanks to a footpath we were in 10 minutes in Portaria central square.
Cons: The small road from the main road to the hotel was very narrow and scary, the room we got was more like a single room than double !The parking area wouldn't be enough when the hotel is fully occupated. Sound insulation of the rooms needs to be revised!

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, easy parking, amazing view and finally great spa experience with the friendliest personnel.
Cons: Service at the dining area was slow. The food needs modernization and quality improvement. The breakfast needs more variety and quality.
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: The personnel was very professional. Each one of them did exceptional job.
Cons: -There was noise from the windows all night every night that would wake you up on the middle of the night. With the money paid they could have fixed it. -Old furniture, old TV like staying in a house of 1995 -When it is Christmas and you have a customer that paid a lot for the staying and you give as a gift 2 bottles of water from the mini bar and not the other stuff is cheap. I propose not to gift the waters at all. In overall not value for money. I do not recommend it. At all. Waste of money it was unfortunately.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is great as it offers a view to Portaria village as well as the city of Volos from above. It offers parking spaces which is quite important given the fact that the village get quite crowded. It's only a five minute walk to the centre of the village. Breakfast is great and the lobby and restaurant area are very pleasant. Room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Staff is polite and helpful.
Cons: It's quite overpriced in high season (booking was between Christmas and new years). Hotel was a bit dated and it would nice to see a little bit better cared rooms (e.g. better tv, better decoration, bathroom accessories, hot water boiler and coffee at room etc.). This is in relation to the price paid, if it would be for low/normal season I guess it would be ok, but maybe some details can make this hotel exceed ok.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly, the hotel was spotless and everything else was even better than advertised. The food was also out of this world.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable beds, clean room, friendly staff, plenty of parking space, strong wifi
Cons: Little far away from Volos

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Everyone from the hotel staff were really friendly and accommodating from the receptionist and the ladies at the breakfast to the cleaning ladies. A big asset for the hotel. The breakfast was very good and the kids play room was also very nice.
Cons: The wifi connection is really poor. If your room is far from the router and that was our case there is no chance of having adequate access. Restarting the router didn’t really fix anything unfortunately.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Clean
Cons: High price
5,0 Okay
Pros: The location, the view and the infrastructure are all great. The staff were also pleasant, and felt warm and cozy. There is great potential for this hotel.
Cons: The hotel definitely needs a total renovation, its like its left to its own fate... I am certain that after that, it can be by far the best hotel in the area without having any competition.
8,0 Excellent

Cons: The bed I think needs some improvement and the breakfast could be a little be better.

7,5 Good
Pros: dream location, very clean and well maintained, host very ok.
Cons: water problems ... I did not have bathing water and personal needs in the evenings and in the morning.
7,5 Good
Pros: The view is magnificent. Rooms are VERY clear, cozy... Bathroom - exceptionally clean.
Cons: Location of the hotel. You should NOT use Google Maps or navigation since you will end up going through veeeery narrow streets between houses... We came by night and it was even more frustrating. There is a road (a bit longer, but much better) but google won't take you that way. We've came on a day of the local holiday so it was very noisy (after midnight) but that was just our bad luck. I'm sure I would have better experience if I came by day and on a regular day. Hosts in the morning were not very pleasant. We had to leave early and we were not offered "take-away" breakfast which was included in the price.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The little village is beautiful.
Cons: We had to walk about 300-400 meter to get to the hotel. many stairs, no lift. No help from owner.very poor breakfast.no hot water to shower.

7,5 Good
Pros: A really nice cosy picturesque inn located at the center of makrinitsa! Would definitely go back to arxontiko repana!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We spent a wonderful week here. The owners are so lovely, kind-hearted and helpful people. The house and the village are amazing, they have a really special atmospehre. Our room with a sea view was simple perfect, and very clean. We got a home-made excellent breakfast every morning and after great recommedation for daily planning; where to go, what to see, where to eat. We spent days by the seaside and had hiking days too, but there are many nice places, many opportunities in Pelion.. it’s like a little treasure. I absolutely recommend Archontiko Reapa for everyone, who would like to jump out for a little from the rush of daily life and enjoy the beauty of the nature with a real Greek hospitality.
Cons: -
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a nice, comfortable, cosy a home like place! The breakfast is excellent with healthy and homemade meals, and the hosts are lovely and kind guys! I warmly recommend this place as a way to have a fresh rest. The beaches are like 30km away from this place but it is nothing comparing to beaches you will see. Also the host - Demi and Stelos are very welcome to recommend you the best one to see :) Enjoy!
Cons: Everything was great!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts are a couple of amazing people, it has been an honor to meet them. The property is in superb location 2 minute walk from the central square of Makrinitsa. Places of interest are within walking distance. We left our vehicle in the parking and just forgot about it. Makrinitsa is the place to be!!! The property is extremely well maintained and extremely clean. Warm water was available 24hrs a day. Bed sheets were conditioned and clean, spotless. When you are at the property ask the landlord of the properties history which was first built in 1858!!! There are no words to describe the breakfast, make sure you include it!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Warm guests. Excellent breakfast. We received vital information for our trip
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything. The hosts are extremely kind, helpful and warm-hearted people who take care of the comfort of their guests at any time when you look for them. Breakfast is only with home-cooked meals and fresh produce, extremely hearty. The house is authentic and you really go back in time, without missing out on modern conveniences. I would again visit the place with pleasure.
Cons: There's nothing I don't like.
