Pros: The accommodation was absolutely breathtaking with the best view and most wonderful room including amazing facilities. The terrace of our room was definitely amongst the Top 5 I have ever seen. It was super easy to reach and made our stay at Polignano a Mare 200% nicer. Also the breakfast was one of the best we had during our stay in Puglia. We will surely be back.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very kind host, high service and communication.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The room with the church view was spacious, the other rooms also nice size. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was very good. Francesca is a wonderful hostess and her brother was also very nice when we called to change the dates. The location is great for touring the old city. We parked 3 days for 6 euros in a parking lot 10 minutes walk from the b&b. Lecce is so beautiful.
Cons: The quality of the coffee at breakfast wasn't great. One little inconvenience is the transparency of the bathroom door.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Locations, facilities, access, parking, service and property look
Cons: Breakfast is a little limited, no warm breakfast.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very good location. Very friendly & helpful staff. Quiet& restful at night. Lovely terrace.
Cons: I felt the mattress needed to be replaced as it sagged at the edge.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the old quarter and minutes walk from bars, restaurants and the local small rocky beach. Our room was on the first floor of this old characterful building with a pretty terrace overlooking the main street. There is another entrance/exit down to the old quarter. Polignare a Mare is the birthplace of Domenico Modugno of 'Volare' fame; an Italian classic. There's a beautiful bronze statue of him near the Centro. Staff were really helpful and suggested good restaurants and a great beach- Cala San Antonio. 50 euros a day for sand, 2 loungers and an umbrella. We were 20 feet from the sea which was warm and shallow for 50 meters out. Again loud music from the neighbouring beach club was a bit off-putting but nothing we could do about it! There's a bar for gelati or pizza, salad etc - Caffe crema was amazing! The bar opposite Antico Mondo on the town side is a piece of history. Bar Mario Campanella serves fab gelati, breakfast, prosseco, beer, coffee at very reasonable prices. We loved it. The staff arranged for us to park in a local car park as no parking near the property. It was only 5 minutes walk and they arrange a rickshaw type shuttle service for luggage transfers. 45 euros for 3 days.
Cons: It was a bit noisy. The bar downstairs played thumping bass tracks which was a bit annoying. Didn't go on late and didn't stop me from sleeping but it got to my husband. The mattress was too soft for me and after 3 nights my back was aching.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: All
Cons: Nothing, everything was good!
4,5 Okay
Cons: San Tommaso needs to make a decision if they want hotel guests or if they want the facility to be a wedding venue only. If you’re not part of the wedding party this is a noisy place to stay. The facility literally has a wedding every day with loud music and the noise carries throughout the facility Don’t stay here if you want to go to sleep before 23.00 pm The facility is nice. Rooms are not that great. Bathroom is less than satisfactory. Sink drain does not work. Bathtub drain does not work. Shower door does not adequately close and the water goes throughout the entire floor creating a safety issue.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a bit outside the lovely town Polignano a Mare in a quite area. But not far. Although we arrived quite late we checked in very fast and easliy. The rooms were large enough and comfortable. The garden was also lovely to have morning walks :)
6,7 Good
Pros: Easy parking, close to Polignano and beautiful grounds.
Cons: We did not know it was primarily a wedding venue. It was noisy, beds were not comfortable and we felt we were in the was of the wedding preparations.
5,8 Okay
Cons: Super noisy because they organised a big party , we didn’t sleep ..
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wow - we loved it here... loved the castle, loved the people, loved the owners and got to meet them, loved the staff, enjoyed staying there just so beautiful, close to centre and got tuc tucs which they ordered, all staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was fantastic (not that they had to to much - it was all perfect) Of all the chateaus in France and places we stayed this was up there as one of our very favourites. Breakfast was just so amazing - huge with so many choices and a banquet every morning and all silver service. Love, love, loved it here.
Cons: Only thing it would have been nice to have a pool or if it did we didnt see it but gardens and fountains really beautiful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed staying at this hotel. The only regret is we stayed only for 1 night as this hotel is really beautiful.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is stunning at every turn and our room was awesome with a view of the beautiful grounds and the sea. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. I wish we'd gotten married there as it's beautiful!
Cons: This hotel is primarily a wedding venue which wasn't clear. There were weddings every night we stayed there which was 4 nights. It didn't really bother us as they conclude at a reasonable time of night. The hotel is in an oasis in an agricultural area but it's a 5 minute drive to downtown which we knew and were ok with as we had a rental car.

7,9 Good
Pros: The receptionist at the check out. Cannot recall her name but she was really kind and helpful.
Cons: The room was old and worn out, also it was not a 4 people room they just put two single beds in the corridor right next to the door of the flat and called it 4 people room.
7,1 Good
Cons: Canteen style dinning & food. Not the real Italy.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The food was amazing, and very considerate towards my gluten allergy. Plus there were rabbits all over the resort, which was adorable.
Cons: The majority of the staff were amazing, however a few waiters let them down. We were two 26 year old girls travelling and some male waiters would not leave us alone, pinched our cheeks, leering, despite us showing no interest (and them old enough to be our fathers).
8,8 Excellent
Pros: A huge variety of goof quay food.
Cons: Shortage of staff who spoke English
7,1 Good
Pros: Great activities kids on resort awesome
Cons: Resort ok food good poor parking lot unless u upgrade your room they are small not enough room with 3 luggage

Pros: Excellent location near the square in the old town. Rooms were unique and the terrace was exceptional. No sea views but a great 2 storey plus apartment.
Cons: Noisy when another couple were in the apartment above us on the first night. No tea/coffee making facilities provided (a kettle was provided upon request) and breakfast was served in the cooking class room, not the Sea View restaurant as advertised.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, very spacious, the apartament looks amazing, very clean, everything you need, good breakfast. I would stay here again, without any doubt!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: No words for this amazing apartment. Tasteful decoration. Exquisite view to the old small port. Magnificent terrace.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The view
8,8 Excellent
Pros: staff were very friendly and helped us to find free parking (there's also rather pricy paid parking), location is perfect right in the centre of the old town, walking distance to the beach and lots of restaurants around. The room is in an old building with a lot of character. Fantastic breakfast with lots of choice (we even got a little platter of delicious salami and cheese). Everything was cleaned daily.
Cons: The stairs to the mezzanine are very steep so if you are uncomfortable with that or not good on foot this might not be for you. The room is also quite dark (because it's an old building) - we liked it and thought it was quite cosy. The bathroom was perhaps a little bit dated (but everything was clean).
8,8 Excellent
Pros: This place is absolutely delightful. It’s been beautifully renovated and is located in a central position to get to the restaurants and beach. The view from the roof terrace is gorgeous! There were lots of great options for breakfast including option to choose off the a la carte menu. In the room there was a bottle of wine on arrival! And the staff helped organize a transfer from the train station.
Cons: The room was quite noisy over the weekend when the bar downstairs was open. Quite a lot of light comes in around the balcony door curtain. There was also quite a bit of mould in the shower which just needs a good scrub!
7,9 Good
Pros: The room was cosy with nice facilities. Good value for money.
Cons: We were located on the main square and it was extremely noisy at night and early morning. The windows are hardly noise insulated. Would have been good to know it beforehand and have the choice of the room.

Pros: Paulo was fantastic host on arrival and showing us our room and all the other little surprises! The whole experience was wonderful and will definitely mention this place to stay to any friends who may be travelling to this part of ILtalky.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is good
Cons: Sofa-bed is a bit soft, other than that everything is perfect, recommended!
1,0 Poor
Pros: location and breakfast
Cons: Very tiny 'room': impossible to move around without bumping on the walls or TV set. Bed beside the door so no way to accomodate a bedside table (glasses, phones, books on the floor). Extremely dark room : very small window concealed by a wall. Wall near window in very bad condition (see pictures).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, sea view and host were the stand out experiences. You will never find a more enthusiastic host than Paolo (Paul).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location with a fantastic view of the old town and the sea. Breakfast on the terrace was ideal overlooking the see and Mary's homemade cakes were delicious.
Cons: Parking wasn't ideal as the site was a little ways away so your car was not accessible. However, they had a great valet service to bring you to your car and you were able to drop off luggage right at the hotel.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location with an amazing view. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You can find free parking around the building.
Cons: The room was very small so not a lot of space if you have a lot of luggage. Walls were not clean. Bed was not that great either.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place! Sea view! Attention to details! Family run place. Absolutely stunning. Very romantic! Highly recommend. We did not want to leave. Definitely come back again one day. Thank you so much!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location right by the water! Building is like new and very clean and well maintained. Wonderful, helpful staff and delicious home made treats for breakfast. We loved it!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked this b&b because it is on the less crowded side of the bridge, so I always found a very close parking spot. Check in was very easy and everything was thoroughly explained to me. My room was clean, the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in while in Italy. Everything was great about this place and this town! Thank you.
Cons: If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. The walls, like all in Italy, are very thin! But this is not a complaint about this hotel, because it's true of every place I've stayed in Italy! Just giving you a suggestion

Cons: Nothing
9,6 Excellent
Cons: Beautiful property with stunning views, courtesy bus into town was great
5,0 Okay
Pros: The pool and surrounding grounds were very beautiful
Cons: Getting food at this hotel was very difficult; the hotel restaurant opens at 730 and the menu at the pool is very limited and actually ordering food was problematic. We weren’t able to order anything hot and y salad never came. The food at the restaurant is fine dining and very small portions. Our shower completely overflowed and they did clean it up but a request for coffee pods for our machine never came. The AC doesn’t seem to work very well. Breakfast was abundant but the hot station wasn’t open at 730. I’d say at one point this was a 5 star hotel but not any longer.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing special
Cons: Facility represents max 3 stars. Stuff and facilities are not professional
9,6 Excellent

9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room was beautiful, with all the amenities. It was very well located, in a quiet neighborhood near the center. The breakfast was great, we had everything: juice, coffee, tea, cakes, cereals... The host was really nice and available. She also brought the new products we requested for breaksfast.
Cons: The only inconvenient was that one of the bed was not comfy
7,5 Good
Pros: There was no window in the room. So we had only room door and a very small window just above the door. It was not enough for summer season. when we woke up there was a renovation for upstairs. So our room was full of dust.
Cons: There was no window only room door and a very small window just above the door.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was beautiful and very quaint. It had beautiful decor and ornamental touches. The problem we had with the door was fixed very promptly.
Cons: We had a problem with the outer door on our first night that needed fixing.
7,0 Good
Pros: So much charm and great location. Cinzia was very nice and took pride in her place. Left baked goods and coffee for breakfast.
Cons: Historic part of town so building old and cavelike. Bathroom very clean but mold issue. Not bad mold issue but I have allergies so more sensitive to it.
7,9 Good
Pros: Great location
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location of the property was absolutely perfect - a couple of minutes walk away from the bars/restaurants! The room itself was idyllic. Very cute, cosy and well equipped with everything that you needed for your stay. The facilities were also good. The host met us, a very lovely lady who showed us around the property and made it very easy to contact her via Watsapp! The added touch of meeting he owner and knowing you can contact them at any time really makes you feel more at home. Overall we had a fantastic stay and if you want a very pretty and traditional BnB close to the centre of Polignano, you must stay here!
Cons: The parking was a little difficult at first (not the properties fault at all - just the car park around the corner wasn't signposted very well and it wasn't clear which space that you could park In! If you can travel here without a car I would recommend that, as the roads are very narrow and difficult to drive on. Our host was so helpful when we got there though and she asked us where we had paid and she told us to move quick as we would get a ticket! She came with us and found us a space, which was very helpful of her.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Centrally located, with great access to attractions and beach. Host was very friendly.
Cons: Walls were paper thin. Could hear conversations next door as clear as in the same room.

Overview Reviews
Located 200 metres from Calaponte Beach, B&B Donnapasqua is a modern property serving a free in-room breakfast. It offers free parking and modern rooms with air conditioning and a balcony. Rooms at the Donnapasqua are decorated in white and beige. Each comes with an LCD TV, fridge, and private bathroom. An Italian breakfast of cappuccino and pastries can be enjoyed on the terrace in fine weather. Polignano a Mare Station is 600 metres from the property. Monopoli is a 15-minute drive away.
7,1 Good
Pros: We stayed for 5 nights in July 2019. The room was pleasantly decorated - neutral colours, modern and clean. We had a side room which we were pleased about because we were in town at the same time as a local celebration so there was a lot of noise in the square where the B&B is situated. The location was spot on - not absolutely in the middle of everything but a very short walk to enjoy the town. Comfortable bed and housekeeping daily. Great shower too. Sheets and towels smelt gorgeous.
Cons: As a B&B, It fulfilled the ‘Bed part well, but the rest was disappointing. Before arrival we’d read reviews about this fantastic host, Irene, but she isn’t there any more, it appears. Whilst breakfast takes place on the pretty roof terrace, it’s all a bit awkward. On 2 mornings, all 4 tables had guests, but no one spoke so it was very quiet with no atmosphere. All they need is probably a ratio station on in the background, and for the hosts to actually make conversation with the guests. Paulo did breakfast on his own each morning and, quite honestly, needs some help. He’s trying to make coffee for guests, whilst also writing receipts and dealing with payment for people checking out. Sadly, he is not a natural host, and slightly disorganised too. Breakfast wasn’t ready for 8.15 when it was supposed to start.... it wasn’t ready if we turned up at 8.45 either. If you like a simple pastry/cake and coffee, then you’re fine. But ignore the pics you’ve seen of bacon and eggs as you won’t get a cooked breakfast here. I like fruit for breakfast but only a very small amount was offered so I had to limit myself to a couple of slices of melon and 2/3 slices of kiwi. On our first morning, we were asked to pay cash with a “just to remind you, we take cash only here”. Really? That hadn’t been communicated at all before arrival For a 5 night stay of over 100 Euro per night, that’s a big ask, and something we’d never been asked to do in any other towns in Italy.

Pros: The location, cleanliness, and price!
Cons: We would have liked an iron in our room.
7,9 Good
Pros: Breakfast in café was very good, very good location for b&b.
7,9 Good
Pros: Nice accommodation located in the main street of the town. Furniture is branded-new and everything looks modern and comfortable, clean too. The host is very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is served nearby, in a living room operated by local staff that is available also for visitors staying in other B&B/guest houses. A buffet with fresh products and homemade cakes is served daily, coffee/tea as well as scrambled eggs and salty options are also cooked on the spot. This is a great chance for foreigners to taste the Italian typical specialties and to enjoy the breakfast inside an authentic old stable of Puglia (the location has been completely renovated, the atmosphere and the historical elements have been greatly maintained).
Cons: The apartment is strategically located in the heart of Polignano, this also means that noise and sounds from the street may cause some inconvenience. The entrance door is facing directly the street and no windows are available inside the room, so it is not so easy to ventilate the space.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and host, clean with excellent facilities.
7,1 Good
Pros: Right in the center, clean
Cons: MOldy bathroom, quite loud in the morning - not just because there was temporary construction work going on infront of the room.

Cons: Nothing
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff helpful and friendly. Location is fabulous
Cons: Short on amenities - eg no laundry
4,6 Okay
Pros: Position and hilarious staff. Step aside John Cleese and Manuel!
Cons: Paid for balcony but blind collapsed on it so we couldn’t use it.. but still had to pay extra for a balcony. Shower so tiny you can’t fit anyone except a small child in it. Also leaks everywhere flooding the bathroom. Wi-fi pathetic.. why do they bother? Overrun by your groups so no breakfast left by 8 am... get in early and fight off the competition... unless you just want to eat cake... actually fantastic selection of cakes! Very noisy hotel.. constant clanging and banging staff... They proudly display a rating of 8.5! Who stayed there and give it that rating???!!! Your bus tourists...

Pros: The suit room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We got the room with the jacuzzi and the best view! Highly recommend if you’re staying here for a romantic holiday. The room is amazing and the outside sitting area is huge! The only downside was that the jacuzzi does not heat. Kinda beats the overall idea of having it outside when the weather is colder and you want to be in the jacuzzi. But in the summer - I can imagine it’s heavenly!
