Pros: The gardens and the general ambience. There was ample space at this time of the year. The staff at the reception was helpful and spoke English! The location is great. There are several restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: The food was not that great in the hotel (try D'lys tropical instead, up the street), the waiting staff was not very attentive, it was hard to communicate sometimes even when asking for a simple thing like coffee with milk. Our room with sea view had a very tiny balcony at which you could only stand so we could not really sit out and enjoy the view.... do not pay extra money for that unless you have seating in your balcony. The AC was not strong and the wifi did not really work..... People including guests were unfriendly.
Pros: Close to airport. Nice quiet beach. Watching the pelicans and other fauna. Comfortable bed. Lovely views.
Cons: Pricey and only meal included is breakfast. Lots of kids in the pool. Shower is decent - pressurized but old. Rooms could use new paint in bathroom.
Pros: This hotel was located in Gosier region of Gwada. Based on reviews we thought this would be a nice one night stay for our family prior to flying out. This hotel was worse than a US Travelodge. It was dirty, the grounds were not well kept and the beach area smelled off. Additionally, there were tons of sand fleas by the water - watch out!
Cons: The rooms were dingy and I didn't even want to chance the shower. I waited until I arrived home to take a shower in my own space.
Pros: Good location, own beach, very good restaurant and breakfasts
Cons: Cleaning ladies do not knock when entering, feels very uncomfortable; very insistent to enter your room to clean — be it 0800 or 1300
Pros: It was a quiet hotel with a nice beach. The room was a bit small but very confortable
Cons: The reception staff was only one person and took us long time to make the checking out
Pros: Private beach
Cons: Not very clean, with cockroaches running around the resort! Even in the restaurant. I understand it is a hot climate but the size and number of them was concerning. Our room key did not work due to the electronic monitor on the door being faulty. Even when “fixed” it still failed. The staff are not friendly and the food is not worth the money. Very basic hotel for a 4 star rating.
Pros: Location (as per the map)
Cons: ....cannae say pal!
Pros: The hotel landscape is very beautiful. The beach is beautiful too. Room is clean and design is modern. Breakfast is super. Dinner buffet has a variety of food. Dinner in hotel restaurant is good as well. Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The area was of along with the pool environments
Cons: The service and the staff was terrible
Cons: Open buffet Dinner was not good In the room no cabinet of shower. After the shower the water was even flowing inside of the room. The wifi connection in the room almost no aignal. Wifi works mainly at reception.
Cons: The twin beds ! Regardless of our request for a double bed we were stuck with two tiny twin beds not the most comfortable No electric outlet in the kitchenette (difficult to make use of the toaster, kettle, coffee maker) The use of the spa non being included in the charges.. The area outside of the hotel
Pros: Great Buffe 5 star
Pros: Beautiful central space with great jazz music. Gorgeous restaurant carved into a cliff above the sea. One of the few places where people speak English if that is important (though not everyone-try learning French if you come here!)
Cons: The buffets we’re a bit underwhelming, better to go to the restaurant, and you have to hold the on button the entire time you are using the hair dryer. Towels were a bit thin and worn.
With a stay at Canella Beach Hotel in Le Gosier, you'll be on the waterfront, just steps from Leeward Islands and a 4-minute drive from Plage de la Datcha. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: beautiful beach, and nice atmosphere.
Cons: The room was not very well maintained. The kitchen was outside, we were there in January so making dinner after 5 PM wasn't really an option.
Pros: Best location with nice sandy beach which is rear near to the city. Baran restaurant right on the Beach. There is no more you need to relax
Pros: Small beach in front of the hotel. Nothing exceptional just ok and enough
Cons: Barely speak English. Even at the reception desk. Total French language immersion. Everything is slow. NO tour desk! At all. Only phones of the tour agencies where everything is in French. We had to go to nearby hotel that had tour desk to book sightseeing trips. You really need a car here. There are a couple of restaurants and small marketplace near but otherwise you need to take a taxi or rent a car. No uber in Guadeloupe. No taxis on the street unless you are at the center of Pointe-a-pitre. I booked this hotel solely because they specified check in at 2pm. Nope, our room was not ready and we had to wait another hour. The personnel is ok but lack of English is difficult. Breakfast is sad and very basic. The same buffer everyday. No evening entertainment.
Pros: Lovely helpful staff. Massive bed!!! Effective AC. Pretty clean.
Cons: Very sporadic wifi coverage. Decor is a bit tired and dated but did the job and although it could have been cleaner it was fairly clean (just not impeccable). Kitchenette was ok, but I think if I'd hoped to stay longer and do lots of cooking I would've got frustrated (no scissors, only one sharp knife and it was a bread knife, no tin opener, the 2 pans provided didn't both fit on the 2 ring hob at the same time). There's a small jetty/pier with a couple of chairs and an umbrella on it by the beach area, there was a used condom there so staff need to thoroughly check cleanliness of these areas, or add some night lighting/or patrols to discourage that activity.
Pros: It’s an old establishment (not impressive from outside), but rooms (or at least our double room) seemed newly renovated, spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated. We had a big balcony with kitchenette and enough space to dry our swimwear. Breakfast buffet was simple but good (very comparable to breakfasts in other hotels for a similar price). Breakfast takes place right on the private beach with amazing views though! The hotel is very fast to reach by car from the airport - good choice for late night arrivals.
Cons: Like I mentioned, the hallways/ reception area looked quite old. Not much to do around the hotel (but that applies to many other hotels on the island as well), most shopping and dining areas are further away. These are not serious complaints, however. Nothing ruined the two days we spent in Canella Beach Hotel.
Pros: Nice staff, private Beach, swimming pool and restaurant in front of the beach. Quiet and relaxing. Good value for mone6
Pros: Location and Environment
Pros: Breakfast was fabulous and lots of variety. Location was great to get to the airport. Staff was vert helpful.
Cons: There is nothing I didn't really like.
Pros: Very nice beach right by the hotel
When you a stay at Auberge de la Vieille Tour in Le Gosier, you'll be on the beach, just steps from Leeward Islands and Plage de l'Anse Tabarin. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Gorgeous place, not crowded, close to activities and downtown, Secure, great restaurant and view. Lots of intimate places
Pros: Good location. Easy to get there from the airport and parking on-site. Several restaurants nearby (walking or driving). Very pretty facilities and great view from breakfast area
Cons: Breakfast was very chaotic. A lot of items were not refilled regularly and I had to ask for a coffee cup at the bar since there were none at the coffee table. Room was fairly basic for the high price.
Pros: The hotel has breathtaking views and a very nice beach. Beds are super comfortable and the rooms have a good size. The highlight was one young lady of the breakfast team, which tried her very best to provide a nice service. Thank you!
Cons: Very nice location, but the hotel is aged and needs renovation. Breakfast was really neglected. The floor was so sticky, you nearly lost your flip flops. Birds fly to the tables and buffet and eat the left over... really not appetising. If your plane is delayed like mine, and you arrive around midnight, there is no chance to get any food. Not even some crackers or some bread. Make sure you bring something in case you feel some hunger in the evening. Plan enough time for your checkout.
Cons: choice of food
Pros: Beautiful big room with sea view. Very comfortable double bed. Friendly staff, and private beach and swimming pool. The hotel is in a secured location with a gorgeous view of the sea. Excellent restaurant nearby called Ti Maki (10 min walk). The hotel is not far from St Anne and PTP airport.
Cons: We had breakfast once: we arrived at the breakfast room around 9am, and there was almost no more food available and I had to go fetch cutlery and glasses myself. The staff did their best but overall, for 25eur, breakfast was disappointing. Additionally, the hotel parking is quite small, but most of all is public and it gets difficult to park after 6pm with no other parking nearby available.
Cons: Check your sea view rooms because my view was hidden by trees
Located in Le Gosier (Bas du Fort), Hotel Fleur d'Epée is within a 15-minute drive of Place de la Victoire and Schoelcher Museum. Featured amenities include luggage storage and lockers. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: Services and ‘hospitality’
Pros: Nice location
Cons: There is a lot of entertainment in the evenings (such as life music or games) and if you are here for a short business trip it’s not ideal as it is noisy. Could do with some refurbishing as bath is aged, lights not working, TV only working occasionally with all non-French channels not functioning. All in all it’s overpriced for what you get! But than again that’s the Caribbean.
Pros: Independent restaurant on the beach. Pool looked good but we never used it - always too crowded.
Cons: The advertised toiletries in the room amounted to two small bars of soap. The hotel was far too expensive for what it was and we were not offered a porter to help with luggage. We had to lug beach loungers from their storage place, no help from staff. Badly stocked bar. Terrible pillows on the bed: cheap and lumpy. All the rooms and common areas badly needed a "make-over". If you are not on an "all Inclusive" deal and therefore no wristband, the staff are extremely ill-mannered and even aggressive. The lagoon beach is not properly cleaned or the shallows cleared of small rocks.
Pros: the food
Cons: the size of the room the double room was small
This luxurious resort is located on the beachfront in Gosier at Pointe de la Verdure, just 7 km from Pointe-à-Pitre and 15 km from the International Airport. The hotel features a beautiful and lush garden and enjoys a privileged location by the beautiful and long sandy beach. Guestrooms at the resort are spacious and bright, all featuring a balcony with views over the gardens or the turquoise sea. Every morning guests will be able to enjoy a varied breakfast buffet next to the sea at the Le Santois restaurant, where they will also be able to savour delicious Creole cuisine for dinner. For lunch and dinner, guests can also choose the Pelican open-air brasserie, right by the beach. The best way to end a perfect day is relaxing with a drink and listening to local music at the bar. There are two outdoor swimming pools and guests can practise numerous water sports and other activities.
Pros: Accès internet wifi
Cons: Personnel désagréable. Restaurants peu variés ouverts sur des plages horaires très restreintes. Piscine très petite.
With a stay at Karaibes Hotel in Le Gosier, you'll be in the entertainment district, just steps from Leeward Islands and a 4-minute drive from Plage de la Datcha. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-out, and multilingual staff. Planning an event in Le Gosier? This hotel features 398 square feet (37 square meters) of event facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Cons: It's over priced for what you get and I don't think it's even two star but if you're just going to be there over night it will do which is why I stayed there. Lots of good restaurants around and a casino. Definitely check out Safari Pizza just next door!
Pros: All you need if you are not planning on staying long. Room is functional but not very large. A nearby grocery shop sells all you need (including tokens for self service laundry + soap) and serves breakfast. Overall had a good night's sleep here at a bargain price.
Pros: clean very friendly staff
Cons: no food. is. allowed. in the. rooms
Pros: Good location though a bit tricky to find. Very good and cold AC :) clean. Bathroom was brand new and had great water pressure. Was disappointed that the wifi was not included bc I was under the impression that it was included in the price.
Pros: The location is great close to lost of restaurants and the beach. Very secure. There is also a casino near by. Its really cheap for 2 or 3 nights stay.
Cons: There are no beach or pool towels. There is not alot of parking if you get back too late you got park far from your hotel. Not suitable for a long vacation.
