We emailed him prior to arriving to inquire about checking in early, and he replied promptly letting us know he would do his best to accommodate. We arrived hours early and were checked in! He was extremely helpful- he gave recommendations for restaurants nearby and kept great conversation! (Bonus for us: he spoke English)

Cons: Nothing it was great
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location is great.
Cons: Very low value for money. I am writing this review from a 4 stars hotel in Menorca. My large room with amazing sea view and great breakfast is cheaper here than the very basic room with no view I got in Hyeres!!!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach , friendly and a great spot to watch the yacht racing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice beach and the hotel was just in front of the beach. Nice staff.
Cons: No AC. A fan.
7,5 Good
Pros: The staff was very nice. The location was close to the beach.
Cons: We needed some aircondition, the fan was not enough, the room was very hot. The room needed to be cleaned better. The doors and the cabinet needed to be washed, it was sticky to touch it. We did not have much space to put our luggage.

Cons: Size of room and shower did not drain well
Hotel Lido Beach - Hyères - Building
5
8,6 Excellent (265 reviews)
R1 711+
9,6 Excellent
Pros: A very informal and relaxing place to stay right on the beach. Great balcony, wonderful restaurant. Free parking just outside the hotel. Shabby chic in the best sense of the word. Could have stayed there for weeks.
Cons: Nothing really.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, lovely atmosphere and very kind people working there. The hotel is located directly on the beach. Nice swimming just 3 feet from the hotel. I did even come back during my trip along the coast and it was the only hotel in 10 days where I spent more than one night. Will come back.
Cons: No air-condition, due to ecological reasons. Just a ventilator that worked fine in September, but I could not stay in this small room in July or August. Maybe it works in larger rooms.
7,9 Good
Pros: Laid back (a bit bohemian in character) hotel right on the beach. Comfortable to go from beach to beach chair area to restaurant and through lobby and common area to rooms in swim suits. Yet still had an elegance. Restaurant was good with tables right on the beach as well and were able to accommodate our late arrival. Plenty of beach chairs, wide shallow beach perfect for all water activities and for children. Stand up paddle boards available. It was hot during our stay, but with the fans operating all day with windows open and curtains drawn closed, rooms were manageable for sleeping, but definitely on warm side. Easy walking distance to harbor area with many restaurants and cafes.
Cons: Could use more umbrellas for the beach chairs to go around. One in our group had the room with external private bathroom. Because of the need to lock room and bathroom, coming and going , that was a bit inconvenient. But, overall, this room and the other standard rooms were a good bargain for being right on the beach. Internet also not working well here. This was a common complaint for the small boutique hotels we chose throughout our trip to France.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The bohemian style. The location to the sea and Porquerolles. The homely feel of being in someone’s beach house. The relaxed vibe and atmosphere. The view; you’re right on the water edge. The food was exceptional.
Cons: It was expensive for a 2 star hotel. Is a bit far away from other amenities.
7,9 Good
Pros: Staff very welcoming and helped us throughout. Food was good.
Cons: Really difficult to park ones car. The hotel says it has 12 parking spaces but, sorry to say, that is not the case! Had to park about 500 m away and wait for a space to become available which it did. It was the weekend in June and during the week things should be quieter.

The hotel features a bar with panoramic terrace, 1 m eeting room, 1 SPA with hot tub and sauna in a relaxing ambiance. There is a free public car park just 55 yards (50 m) from the hotel.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I liked the room a lot: clean, with all the necessary comforts (including air conditioning) and a good bed. Breakfast was OK and could be taken either inside or on the beautiful terrace. I also liked a lot the fact that on the top floor there were little viennoiseries, mineral water, tea and coffee available also late at night.
Cons: I thought the hotel was understaffed. On the Saturday evening I was there there was only one female member of staff, who had to go from reception to the third floor breakfast/restaurant room all the time, even to get bread. My daughter had a sore throat and asked for some ice, which could be given in 30 seconds, but the lady went on preparing food for a couple who were the only other guests in the breakfast/restaurant room, taking over 20 minutes to give us the ice. We would have also liked some food, but we decided it would take too long. Also, we needed to use the computer on the ground floor to find news on the railway strikes, but we couldn't make it start and the female member of staff was unable to make it work either.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: excellent breakfast, particularly for France, Fresh Orange juice
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and smelled fresh. The design of the hotel is cute and young. There’s plenty of free parking right across the street (belongs to the train station but you can park for free on all parking spots with white line markings).
Cons: The breakfast was rather poor, but ok.
7,9 Good
Pros: The Ibis Style Hyeres Gare hotel was an excellent base for our stay in Hyeres. The hotel is across the road from the station. The room was very comfortable with a separate toilet and bathroom. The breakfast area on the 3rd floor was very pleasant with a good choice of fresh fruit breads and croissants. We also used the spa with sauna and jacuzzi and we were really impressed with the facilities. The hotel is located around 20 mins walk to the centre of the town.I feel there is a need for more attention to customer service as some staff displayed a slightly indifferent attitude to guests and in some ways this meant that the hotel lacked atmosphere because there was a very limited staff cover in the different areas of the hotel.Overall though,we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again if visiting Hyeres.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Close to rail station and buses to departure ports for the Hyeres islands
Cons: Rather small room The hotel is a good walk from the centre of Hyeres - buses are infrequent.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Location was excellent for travelling by plane.
Cons: The price was too high for what you get.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in the middle of the town with a 20 min walk from the old quartal. Rooms are designed in modern style. At breakfast, it is provided a good choice and you may exit to a big terrace on the building roof. The staff is friendly and responsive.
Cons: Hyeres is the town where it is better to rent a car or moto for moving around.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Second time at this lovely hotel and still impressed by the helpful, friendly approach of staff, the practical rooms, and use of the roof space for drinks. If you are travelling in Hyeres area it is a great option : )

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The closeness to the sea, an idyllic location
Cons: Nothing
5,0 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and the bathroom was a good size . The actual place down stairs is dated and needs lots of repair , The kitchen area looked dirty and unkept and to be honest we declined breakfast because we wanted to go somewhere clean . The view from the room standing up was lovely but once you sat in the chair on the terrace all you saw was the roof and dead plants so it was a bit sad . It’s badically a room in someone’s house with very confused lines of what is space for the guests and the owners The lady who met us was fine and friendly
Cons: The.mess down stairs
7,9 Good
Pros: The hosts were very friendly and accommodating! The property was on the water. View was spectacular!
Cons: The stairs going to the apartment very very steep. The hosts helped carry our bags but would be very easy to fall.
4,2 Okay
Cons: Whole place under renovation. Rooms not clean. Breakfast was not included as mentioned.

5,4 Okay
Cons: It was absolutely freezing cold with no remote to turn on heating. Quite noisy.
6,3 Good
Pros: Friendly staff Central location Swimming pool
Cons: Strange smell in the stairs corridor
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very good hotel to stay in close to town. The staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. It's a great place to stay for short stays on a budget and I have visited it many times.
Cons: They do not have a full kitchen so there are only simple food choices at lunch and dinner times.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: As a couple with no rental car, the location was super convenient for us. Short distance to walk to both the train station and to the old town. Also near to bus connections to other parts of Hyeres. The personnel was so nice and genuine, and made everything they could to make our stay comfortable. I would say this kind of leadership to a hotel is what all hospitality business should be! Merci! Oh and the breakfast & pool, splendid!
Cons: There was no safety deposit in rooms, and some interior details could be updated, but that’s a minor minus.
7,9 Good
Pros: Ranak who works there is a lovely person and very attentive. And it’s important that my dogs are welcome which they were and they had a good stay too.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very clean and quiet! They have amazing breakfast in the morning! Free parking and swim pool! Love it like million dollars!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: It was average overall. Small social areas but for the price it was good value.
Hotel Les Orangers - Hyères - Bedroom

9,6 Excellent
Pros: The friendly owners look after their guests very well. They provide a communal fridge and sell bottled water and soft drinks at reasonable prices for their guests convenience. The breakfast courtyard is charming and the rooms with terrace very pleasant.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely quiet garden, ‘honesty’ bar set up for drinks which was welcome, fans in room. The hotel isn’t super modern in its decoration but it had a great deal of original French charm which we loved. The owners were very friendly and helpful, Excellent location for visiting Villa de Noailles the main purpose of our trip.
5,4 Okay
Pros: The garden was a sweet and nice place to sit and relax in the evening. The woman that fixed breakfast and checked me out seemed very nice.
Cons: I opted for Hyeres to spend a couple of hours by the sea, curious about the Hyere beaches. I should have researched the hotel and area more, and was chocked to find that Hotel Oreangiers was far from the sea. No buses going to the sea-side part in the evening and no bike rentals. I asked around ... So, the stay was a huge disappointment to me and I regret that I chose Hyeres at all. This hotel is best for people with car or bikers or people that enjoy walking around in old-town kind of alleys. I felt stuck and it seemed like everthing was closing atound 19. This is not hotel Orangier's fault, but maybe good to know for other solo Interrailers, like me. It was a good 20 minutes walk each way from the train station and nothing to do around the station. The toilets at the station were also cliosed. My room had a barred window facing a dirty backyard with dog poop and two big dogs that barked and jumped every time I touched the window. They were perhaps just curios and wanted to play but it was quite disturbing. Bed and bathroom was ok and clean, but it did not feel cared for, as in other places with the same price range. Breakfast was nice to have in the patio, it was ordinary, but with plenty of bread and butter, bakeoff criossants, ordinary juice, packed yoghurt a good size can of hot, nice coffee with milk and a delicious orange marmalade that tasted as if it was home made. I got a couple of large mosqito bites as a souvenir, I kept the window open. The room was very hot and had no air condition . There was a fan.

Pros: Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was really nice. Location was ok just a tiny bit far from the center or the beach. Very comfortable bed, loved the pillows.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and efficient staff. Room nicely decorated and equipped.
Cons: Wine a little expensive compared to local restaurants.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extremely comfy.
Cons: Food in the restaurant was very disappointing. Chicken burger wasn’t cooked thoroughly (pink and bloody) and when I notified the waitress an offer of having it re-cooked was given to me. I had already eaten some of the chips and salad which led staff to believe the meal should still be paid for?

6,7 Good
Pros: I liked the he location of the hotel and the cities we went to, all not too far from the hotel. Good breakfast, drinks and dinner even if we don't appreciate too much French dishes ( Aglio,/ ail, everywhere in whatever we ate).
Cons: Prices Always too high for the services offered by the Hotel. our room for three persons was really too small, no door in the bathroom, 35-40 mq for 3 adults, it's not possible in a Ibis Hotel!! The bathroom and the rest of the room were not clean at all, this is very shameful.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great meals - Loved the salt water heated pool and sauna
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The food, the staff and the room exceeded my expectations completely. I felt like I was in the Caribbean there, defintely a hotel to reccomend if you want to stay a few days around the region, go to ile de porquerolles and take a day to relax at the hotel amenities, for example the pool and the beach.
7,0 Good
Cons: I was very unimpressed at the spa. I had just spent 120€ at the spa and they would not lend me a towel to go for a swim afterwards. They told me to go all the way back to the hotel desk and ask for one there!!!! This attitude totally ruined my impressions of the thalasso.
2,5 Mediocre
Cons: Dirty room, pool is open just until 18.00. Beach is closed with door. Verry bad location

Pros: Location is amazing, restaurant staff was very helping. Breakfeast was very nice.
Cons: Room decoration and bathroom are aging, the room was very small for the price. The desk staff (which also appears to be the manager) was not helping (not even able to provide a map a the area) and even unplesant on check out. We did not try the in-house restaurant although we had planned to eat there, mainly because of the menu which we were not attracted to.

Pros: The grounds were nice.
Cons: 1) the staff barely spoke english. No one explained to us that we had to register for an event. We went to the White Garden party to realize that we should have registered before hand 2) they changed the gate codes without informing us. We could not enter or exit the facility without other guests’ help 3) our room was cleaned only 1 out of 4 days. No extra towels. No soap for shower. The shower area overflowed and there was no way dry the floor. 4) we needed to do laundry but the drier was broken. The staff simply threw up their hands

Pros: Nice renovated hotel in a very nice location, front of the sea, confortable and clean room, nice breackfast, activites to do.
Cons: The animation staff was completely absent on Saturday, is theyer's free day... But a Saturday? Not so nice for the people who are coming for weekends... 20 euro for 4h renting vélo is a bit too expensive

Pros: very very nice hotel! We didn’t expect that good! Lots of équipement. Kids friendly hotel. Have lots of facilities. Kayak, beach, lake.... clean room, nice breakfast.
Cons: The pillow is too small! Nothing else
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We booked that place for our 1 week trip to South of France and our way back to Marseille to cut the road a little and to relax, and what we have found was more than what we expected. Wonderful place to relax, we did some canoeing, our 4 years old were all over the place, nice pool, good dinner and nice breakfast.
Cons: Nothing.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Free parking.
Cons: Old facilities. Upon arrival, they told us our room was available but after we actually we noticed our room had still dirty towels from previous guests - truth to be told, they have then moved us to another room after complaining. Rooms are not very isolate, and since is a place for families, there is a lot of noise in the night

Pros: Food was very average and small portions. Menu was pretty much the same every day. I have been to "Demi pension" before in France with much better price/quality. It was ok but more.
Cons: Dishes were often not very clean and often no utensils were available.

Cons: Room was an attic w slanted roof. Injured my head a number of times. Ended up with bruises and bumps.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Rooms very clean and staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Room was bit small. No air conditioning and shower so small it was difficult to move without the shower curtain clinging to you or accidentally turning the tap to hot. Also roomd not very soundproof. Breakfast a bit basic - very stingy on the yoghurt and no fruit on offer.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: - Nice and helpfull staff - Despite not being fluent in english, the recepcionist made a great effort and was abble to make herself understood - The rooms were clean, confortable and fit for 3 people - Good location
6,7 Good
Pros: Was very clean.
Cons: Nobody really knew english. It was pricey for having no communal kitchen or laundry etc. Huge hill to climb. Checkout is between 830-1030 yet nobody is at reception before 930am. Got really hot and had the employees disturb me in the middle of the evening to open windows. She opened the door before waiting for my response.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Extremely clean, comfortable and a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: A steep hill to the property from city / cafe district if walking, however that was not a problem for us but may be for some. My only criticism is that there was not a fridge in our room.

Cons: Two set menus for lunch and dinner were varied but may be limited if staying longer than two nights. However we were there early October so not peak season.

7,5 Good
Pros: The food in the restaurant was excellent. Innovative, tasty, well presented and delicious cuisine. Service was friendly but seemed to take for ever though, even to get an apero before ordering. We say for 15 minutes dying of thirst! Also most of rooms have a nice terrace and chairs/tables. Good parking.
Cons: We were hotel guests [4] yet we only just managed to get the last table in the restaurant for dinner. Last year we stayed there, the restaurant was full with a private function and nothing at all was done to help hotel guests e.g. room service platter of charcuterie or cheese or olives etc. Nothing - not even booking a taxi into town for us. Very very annoying. We had to get take-away pizzas from a mobile van in the car park below and bottles of wine we had luckily bought at the Ballades Gourmands that afternoon. We ate dinner in the dark outside our room. They need to liaise with guests beforehand on meals as it a small town with almost no decent places to eat otherwise.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Nice, spacious rooms. Clean and modern. Decent shower and bathroom.
Cons: Reception closed on arrival, no staff (or clients for that matter) to be seen anywhere. The place looked deserted! Location away from anything except the autoroute. Looks like it's just been built and they're a few months away from finishing it. Then the owner told me they've been open for 10 yrs!
