Simonne is an exceptional hostess. We felt welcomed and very comfortable. It felt as if we were staying in a secret garden – so beautiful. The location was perfect - everything was a close walk. Also very convenient to drive to the Penguin parade. We reserved 3 rooms – they were all lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the porch sipping tea looking at the amazing garden outside our doors. Highly recommend!
No complaints – everything was charming!
Loved the location. The owner Simonne is awesome. Chocolates & fruit was left in the room. Very nice touches. I know they are going to do renovations will definitely go back. Super lovely lady
It is very dated and think for what it is as no parking in a very busy place a bit over priced. The bed is super comfy however very high up, really struggled getting in & out. To make matters worse I broke my back some years ago so do get into bed a certain way to avoid aggravating it. Could bearly walk today
Property was charming, the room were full of old period character, cleaned meticulously kept. The crockery and China were a wonderful touch. The veranda and gardens were very relaxing. All in all will hesitate to recommend this location
The breakfast is amazing with bread, coffee, orange juice, chocolate, fruit as well...The room and bathroom is really clean. Also, Simonne, the host, responded so quick. Highly recommended to people who would like to stay inside Philip Island to visit penguin parade.
The small garden is quite lovely with a small fountain surrounded with a lot of some rocks on the path. However, it is quite painful for me as we carry a big and heavy luggage. You cannot move your luggage on the path. I need to hold it on my hand to walk pass the lovely small garden.
Great property great location walk to shops and beach. Lovely host.
No cooked breakfast a few items were supplied like orange juice, milk, toast, yoghurt and chocolates. But the definition of breakfast includes cooked food like eggs and bacon. Shower was very small.
