Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's central location, making it easy to access city attractions and enjoy scenic views. Many enjoyed the lively bar and its atmosphere, as well as the building's unique architecture. However, there were frequent complaints about service quality, with several guests citing unresponsive staff, long wait times, and issues with billing or room readiness. Cleanliness was also a concern for some, with reports of unclean rooms and public areas. Overall, while the location and bar stood out positively, service and cleanliness did not meet expectations for many guests.

Pros (+) The service and attentiveness to detail is always excellent. My room was lovely and more than comfortable. This is a lovely hotel with a perfect location, just south of City Hall.
Cons (-) We experienced several days of significant rainfall and the lack of a covered awning to the curb was a bit inconvenient.

Pros (+) The Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia is a luxurious, welcoming hotel centrally located just south of the iconic City Hall. The.staff were courteous, responsive and very helpful. My room was oversized and very comfortable with outstanding housekeeping service. This was my third visit and will surely not be my last. My son now lives in center city, so this will be my home when visiting in the future.

Pros (+) The hotel and staff were extraordinary. i was always greeted upon leaving and entering the hotel. Oftentimes the bellman or concierge would ask if I needed anything. I must have looked a bit lost!!! The situation detailed below needs to be addressed because other than that, the room was most comfortable with a lovely view of City Hall northward Amanda in housekeeping was excellent in refreshing my...
Cons (-) There wasn't anything "I didn't like!" However, The only "hiccup" I experienced was a slight odor of tobacco in. my room at the end of each day. When I notified the front desk they were quick to put a plan in place to remedy the problem. Unfortunately, the odor continued and was probably a function of the odor of the carpet, drapery and bedding.
