Quaint Hotel, modern bathroom, excellent views. Booked one night but stayed six
While the hotel is a bit old fashioned, our room was huge, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Superb location.
Great views of bay both from the dining area & bedroom. alternative eating places adjacent. lovely walks around coastal pathways. beautiful sandy beach. staff friendly & helpful. overall good value.
Good location, nice view of the bay from our room. Breakfast good. Parking fine.
The bedroom was ok but the bathroom was in dire need of refurbishment. (The plumbing was fine and everything worked but it was the room itself was very tatty.) Corridors dark and not very well decorated. Since analogue switch off, no English speaking channels.
Location is perfect & the staff are very helpfull
We were lucky enough to have a fabulous corner room with sun from both sides; Probably the best bathroom in any hotel I've stayed in the last five years excluding a five star one on a business trip! Marvellous view across the sands and the bay from all sea-facing rooms and the dining- room; Good parking on site; Easy access to boat trips, cliff-top walks, the beach, small number of local shops, some good restaurants etc.; Good cleaning of the room; No traffic noise; Reliable wifi Very wide bed with separate light switches; Two tables, two chairs, plenty of storage
Drab spine corridor in need of freshening up and more pictures; Under- marketed in general E.G. no-one ever asked "will you be having dinner with us tonight?"; Felt out-of-season despite being second week of June, but a visiting group brought some life on our third and fourth nights.
