I liked the location - it was easy to get various places in Paris from the hotel. Plus it was easy to get an Uber.
The room was small but had 2 stories- with the bedroom area in a loft. The stairway up to the bed was pretty skinny (especially if you are coming down at night in the dark). Also, the room didn't cool down very efficiently. The thermostat was on the first floor but the bed was in the loft...so basically by the time the upstairs cools down the AC turns off...then by the time the thermostat turns the AC on again it is already hot in the upstairs. So, hot>cold>hot>cold all night long, so we didn't sleep well.
Beautiful ivy covered boutique hotel in Le Marais tucked away from the city noise.
Odd bathroom layout Light switches could use replacing Elevator small
Excellent customer service and charming location.
It was the most beautiful hotel and in a charming setting. The staff and facilities were absolutely great and I will certainly stay again.
There was nothing that I could fault
Pavillon de la Reine lives up to its name (Queen’s Pavilion) as it is situated in the Place des Voges in the Marais area of Paris. Only 15 minutes, by foot, to the Louvre and even less to the Place de la Bastille, Victor Hugo’s home, and the Chemin Vert Metro Station, it is a gem of the city’s Third Arrondissement (the oldest in the city). Notre Dame is less than a mile from the grounds as is the Picasso Museum, Opera, and so much more.
This makes it a great choice for a business or leisure traveler, as well as the right one for those who crave luxurious amenities, surroundings, and services. Travelers enjoy 24-hour room service, free parking, an honor bar in the lobby, the signature Restaurant Anne, a concierge desk, free iPad rental, beautiful grounds and gardens, complimentary bicycle rentals, business and meeting rooms, a lending library, laundry services, free Wi-Fi, and the Spa de la Reine with a wide range of services.
The 56 rooms and suites in the hotel are all designed to coordinate with the hotel’s beautiful architecture and décor. They range from classic rooms to signature suites and all feature premium bedding and linens, large and beautifully appointed private baths with designer toiletries, sitting areas, entertainment systems, and great views.
When traveling to Paris, it is always a pleasure to stay in one of the older, historic parts of the city. The Pavillon de la Reine places its guest in the oldest neighborhood and surrounds them with beautiful décor, luxurious amenities, and world-class service.
