The Candyland theme is a bit odd ... that being said, we stayed in low season so there weren't many other guests and our room was cheap, clean and comfortable. Big swimming pool. Liked that it's a little bit out of the city centre - we hired a motorbike for the 4 days we were there and were able to get around that way. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. They didn't provide pool towels which I think is a bit odd and we had to ask them to clean our room for 2 of the 4 nights we stayed.
No pool towels. Having to ask for the room to be cleaned. The Candyland theme attracts non-hotel guests to come in and take pics (why I have no idea!!!).
The view was amazing! You could see the beautiful mountains while taking a swim in the pool. The staff was very nice. Good food in the restaurant. They offered coffee and tea all day long. Clean rooms, great AC. As some other guest wrote, it is like an fairy tale place. Nice modern room. Pool was nice temperature. Was good for 2 days stay.
We stayed in the twin room and had a room next to ours. There was a door in to the other room. When someone stayed in the other room and was having the lights on, it would shine in to our room. Very annoying when you want to sleep and could not because of the light. Same thing with the door that we had that was facing the pool/outside where the water pump was. The curtains could not reach to that door, so the light was shining thru on that side as well. :(. They did not provide towels for the pool. so you had to use your own from the room. They did not change the towels the day after/did not clean.
Far from the center but beautiful place ! No road lights in the hotel.
This place is a awesome it’s like a fairytale land with set in a beautiful field the rooms are huge and so clean love the decor, brilliant food and a short ride away to town. Staff very friendly to
Nothing everything was amazing !
The food was decent. The decor and surrounding areas were lovely. The pool was quite big - shame it was filled with children and day drinkers.
The staff were unfriendly...The lights and AC didn't really work and were never fixed even after several requests. The pool was open to the public, including large group swimming lessons for children, making it a very un-relaxing environment. If we had known it was open to the masses on the weekends, we would not have gone here. There was not enough shelter from the sun next to the pool and areas that were shady were closed at arbitrary times.
