Rooms very dated, needs upgraded furniture and beds
Nice room and comfy bed.
This was the worse hotel experience I have ever had. First, they lied about what was open for use when I called to confirm. Second, we were given the wrong room upon arrival and had to complain that we wanted a refund before they would correct the problem. Third, we were woke up at 1AM by Ormond Beach Police wanting to check our room for a missing girl and stated that this hotel had the worst security! On top of all that, they have actual INMATES ON ANKLE MONITORS working there for maintenance and they were working on the security cameras and around children. This is completely unsafe to guests in my eyes because no one is advised of the matter and people are letting their children run around thinking it's safe. Proceed with SERIOUS CAUTION BEFORE BOOKING!
Not good at all
No breakfast or restaurant but there was one really close next door.
The 2nd bedroom was really hot.
We stayed on the first floor right by the pool, easy access to the beach from there. The on-site hotel served delicious meals, we had breakfast and dinner there during our stay. Clean room, exactly what we needed, perfect for our family to get away and relax.
For those looking for comfortable but affordable accommodations in Ormond Beach, the Ocean East Resort Club offers a central location, modern rooms, and other amenities to make a stay more enjoyable. The hotel is right on the beach on A1A, but it is also within easy reach of area attractions like Andy Romano Beachfront Park, Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf, and numerous shopping options.
There are 114 guest rooms at this Ormond Beach hotel, split between standard rooms and more luxurious options. Some rooms allow smoking, but most are nonsmoking. They all offer comfortable bedding, work desks, a kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave, a flat-screen TV, a private balcony, climate control, private baths, and more. Rooms also offer sofas and coffee tables, satellite TV programming, and Wi-Fi.
While the most popular thing to do at the Ocean East Resort Club might be to enjoy the waters of the Atlantic, there is more on offer here. The on-site restaurant offers casual American fare, while the fitness center is a good place to keep fit. There is property-wide Wi-Fi, and a spacious outdoor swimming pool. Parking on property is free, and there is a self-service laundry facility available.
Guests can dine on property, but they will also find 21 restaurants near the hotel. These include Bonefish Grill, Charlie Horse Restaurant, and Riptides Raw Bar & Grill, all of which serve up American fare. Don Pepper’s Mexican Grill and Cantina is also nearby, as are Caribbean Jack’s, The Beach Bucket, The Black Sheep Pub, and Dmitri’s Bar Deck and Grill.
