7,1 Good
Cons: Sad and cold welcome by the hotel receptionist! The room had less square meters than set at the hotel website (Executive room). The hotel tried to sell us a bigger room, but we did not accept.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The architecture is superb!
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: It is a very comfortable and nice place. Thanks to a tasteful decoration and small details you feel really cosy, even though the room equipment seems to be a bit old. You find everything you need to relax: starting with an elegant spa, through a comfortable room with a balcony and a small sitting zone (we had a regular double room), finally finishing at the stylish bar.
Cons: What I didn't like is the lack of manners in the sauna zone. Tha majority of guests didn't follow even the basic rules: I don't speak about using the swimming costumes in the sauna, as I know this is the cultural thing, but they were often using the sauna without any towels, coming in completely wet, taking no shower afterwards and going directly to the swimming pool.... I would maybe recommend to put a kind of pictograms at the entrance to educate the users a bit...
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place to relax for few days. We went to the spa every day between 12-2pm and we had the all place to ourself.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Location helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely balcony that overlooked the next towns along the route du vin where we could enjoy the remains of the day. The shower was fabulous with lots of water pressure and steady temperature. The beds were comfortable.
Cons: Personal preference really - I prefer rolls of toilet paper rather than the single sheet dispensers but that could be a regional thing as I found many WC in this area had a similar dispenser. Also, it would have been great to have a sink in with the toilet which was in a separate room from the shower.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This French property is elegant and typically Alsatian in decor. It is located in a very small village among acres of vineyards with fabulous views of the Black Forest Mountains, Germany across the Rhine River in the distance to the east and is near the Alsace Vosges Mountains located along the Route des Vins by the hotel. The hotel dining room is excellent (food and service) and is located across the tiny village street from the hotel building. Everything about this hotel and restaurant is perfection. It is probably one of the most special properties, where I have had the privilege to stay and dine. All the staff are attentive and friendly. Tanya was truly wonderful to me when I arrived at nearly closing time after a long day of travel by plane and a 2.5 hour drive to Itterswiller by car from Frankfurt. Her help and kindness made the difference after a stressful day and was a perfect beginning to a lovely stay at the Arnold.

Pros: We love the situation of the Hotel beautiful views, we had eaten twice at the restaurant in previous years and decided it would be a good place for a 2 night stopover We had requested a balcony but got a ground floor room with a patio overlooking the vine yards we were a little disappointed at first but the room was very quite and traditionally furnished with a spacious shower room The first night we slept so well we missed breakfast We had dinner in the restaurant good choices on the menu and very good wine, be aware the food is hearty A good selection at breakfast but could be displayed better as I missed the blueberries at first A very good stay
Cons: The shower had no screen or curtain a impossible to shower without the floor getting wet WiFi a bit intermittent
7,0 Good

Pros: The property is right in the middle of the town. Very clean and comfortable. Own garage to safe lock our bikes
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, small lovely hotel. It’s our second time in this Hotel and we probably come back again:)
Cons: The minibar prices aren’t reasonable
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean Quiet location, but in town center We had a private sauna
9,6 Excellent
Pros: They let us stayed in Hotel Le Colombier since this Le Pavillon 7 is annex of that hotel. Breakfast, fantastic. Services, fantastic. The room rate, fantastic. And staffs, fantastic. First of all, location is very nice. In the city center of Obernai, but just one street back of main square so even in the night it is not noisy. Staffs were all friendly and hostage. We had problem with air conditioner, and it was not fixed in first night. But they changed our room with upgraded room. Also even before we stayed, they had good suggestions to us. Everything was perfect. This is the hotel service we prefer.
Cons: Fortunately, we could stay in two rooms. First room was nice room but had a problem with air conditioner. In the bath room they had bath tub and toilet was different. Second room, we had been upgraded the room. But shower room was honestly down graded... no bath tub, shower room not blocked. It was really clean, and we had no problem to use. But only it was the thing we missed.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place, very central.
Cons: Our room was very comfortable but cleanliness wasn't as good as it could have been, shower tray wasn't clean and bottom of tiles were grubby.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Location, size of room and it was clean
Cons: No proper shower and a bit cold even with heating on.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Right in the centre of Obernai Pavillon 7 is a great place to stay. Comfortable and air conditioned our attic room, though not large, had a big bathroom from which we could see the church spire, the bedroom windows looked out to the brick wall next door. Although not a problem for us the room is accessed by two flights of spiral staircase. Our bicycles were secured in the garage of the hotel across the road where we checked in and breakfast is served.
6,7 Good
Cons: the noise and the strong smell in the room

Pros: This is a cosy hotel in the historical building, in the very heart of Obernai. Very clean (German style ;-), with very friendly and helpful staff and it is surprisingly only the three star place. If this hotel were in Paris that would be the 4-star place at least. Obernai is a great place as a starting point for trips around Alsace.

Cons: Parking was a bit of a hassle but doable.

Pros: The hotel situates exactly in the city centre. Nice enterior, clean and comfortable room.

Pros: Breakfast was good with fast service. Location couldn't be more central, right on the central market square which is under renovation at the moment - the Thursday market has now been moved to the Ramparts for the next 2 years - it's wonderful!
Cons: Tiny separate toilet in the room.

Pros: Good location, spacious room with nice view of the Place du Marché
8,0 Excellent
Pros: I have been in this Hotel before. I like it as it's right in the center of the city. Good, nice and clean usually for 1 nights stays.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very good restaurant and good quality food, good service and reasonable prices, hotel was clean and a reasonable breakfast was provided.
Cons: Hotel Location was on the edge of a small town, their wasnt constant reception staff on duty which made it a little inconvenient, thier was no baggage lift to the floor levels, strong arms wanted! Get out from the car park onto the main road was a little difficult as the entrance was on a road junction. The amount of road traffic noise can be a problem at certain time of the day during peak hours.

7,5 Good
Pros: Helpful staff, very comfortable rooms, water available, comfortable beds and extra pillows available. Excellent breakfast and Coffee and tea and lib A
Cons: Bathroom facilities, shower door incorrectly fitted, unable to get in or out, waste pipe blocked, flooded shower tray, sewage waste came up and out into tray, staff have been advised. Other problems included no baggage lift to first floor, had to haul bags to rooms up steep narrow stairs, no help available. No car parking available close to hand.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Central, but noisy location
Cons: To charge full price and provide a tiny attic room (the only way to get into bed was OVER the bed for one person); and that only after a room change from a tiny room with a very poor bathroom, and W C, was not even remotely satisfactory. Reception staff service was bare minimum. Not recommended, and will be avoided in future.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: At reception the first impression we received from Merlene was excellent, very professional, she was extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming, which really set a positive tone for our stay at this Hotel. The location was excellent, it’s within easy reach of the motorway and walking distance of the picturesque village of Obernai, or you can drive and park in the centre of the village as we did for a couple of Euro for a few hours. There is a petrol station nearby if you are travelling by car, also just a 2 minute walk from the Hotel is a Supermarket, two burger outlets, one well known, and a pizzeria, all very handy. The Hotel has a swimming pool which was being enjoyed by lots of the guests, there was even someone in it before 8am. The grounds are lovely, grassed and surrounded by trees, there’s plenty of chairs and loungers, it has two bars one outside the other inside, a table tennis table and a basketball net. We had a loft room with a balcony overlooking the pool and grounds, the balcony had a round table and two chairs, the room was very spacious. All very nice.
Cons: We liked everything, the only niggle is that we found the mattress slightly uncomfortable, it might be a memory foam mattress that may well suit a lot of people but it would be our choice, it certainly wouldn’t put us staying at this Hotel in the future though.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable and quiet room. Good parking and pretty garden to rear. Pool, although we were out of season. Breakfast area very pleasant. 15 min walk to centre of Obernai and easy reach of station.

It made a good base for exploring the area.
Cons: A shower curtain in the bathroom would have been useful.
5,0 Okay
Pros: not far away from city center
Cons: Clerks could only speak French, difficult to communicate and not helpful. Price is overvalued, especially for the breakfast, almost few thing to eat but costing 12Euro,that's the worst breakfast ever since met in Europe. Not recommended and strongly suggest they improve service level instead of only charging

7,9 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: There were not towels in our room.
7,1 Good
Pros: Cheap location In the center of the city
Cons: The bed was too small for me ( 186 cm] so my feet stuck it out, or I hurt my head on the other side.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in a very picturesque town centre with good restaurants and bars all within a 1-2min walk, but nonetheless quiet at night. Check in and check out were easy, the rooms were clean and comfortable and it was good value for money. One of our friends is gluten intolerant and there was even a great gluten-free bakery just down the road – not something we expected to discover in a small town in Alsace!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The boss and personnel very nice.
Cons: The bed could be larger.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The position of the hotel in the old town is excellent, however it needs a good clean and refurbish. The town of Oberai is worth exploring having so much beautiful architecture and a wonderful history.
Cons: We had to enter through the restaurant to check-in, the young woman who met us seemed annoyed that we had arrived at all! Her manner was brusque and short handed. No pleasantries from her at all. It states no smoking in the building, but my bed sheets definitely had a cigarette smoke aroma to them. Breakfast is extra and at €10 we felt we could do better, go next door to the Boulangerie and order their freshly baked baguette, served with creamy butter, delicious jam and really good coffee.
7,5 Good
Pros: Good breakfast
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff that made us feel welcome. Nice breakfast. Nice location in the middle of the town. Free parking a very short walk away. Beautiful old town with lots of shops and places to eat and drink. But the nights were quiet.
Cons: The room was a small one.
6,7 Good
Pros: Good for a night stay. Room is functional, AC present and working well.
Cons: Shower drain was blocked, interior outdated.

Pros: Amazing position in a green area
Cons: Restroom
5,4 Okay
Pros: Bathroom, bed, comfortable toom
Cons: The hotel is a construction site. There was no information about the construction which is happening at the hotel. You have to go through a makeshifts corridor, the garden is overcrowded because a big part of the garden is closed because of the construction.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel to relax few days in the surroundings of the forests at the bottom of the mountains. We liked swimming pool and jacuzzi outdoors. Room, common areas, swimming pool, breakfast area seemed very clean and smelled amazing. A lot of nice places to visit with a short drive from the hotel. Views from the room balcony were great Breakfast was great, with traditional French food. Staff at breakfast very helpful and friendly. We would defenetly return again.
Cons: In the evening a member of staff walked in our room (no idea why), that made me scream, I didn't expect anyone coming in our room like that. No apology from the hotel that really dissapointed me. People pay for a privacy and relaxing stay.

Close to Ottrott village and Obernei town which give a wide range of facilities and sights as well, the Hotel is in a good position to enable sight-seeing in the region.
