Pros. covered and somewhat enclosed passageways - helped muffle hwy 101; saw ocean but would have liked to hide houses between hotel and ocean. continental breakfast. friendly staff. comfortable bed. Sue
Pros. Beds not so comfortable
Pros. Walking distance to beach and Nye Beach area. Staff was very helpful. Beds were comfortable.
Cons. Breakfast bar very small with only a single coffee pot; selection mediocre. Grounds untidy and messy & smelly garbage container near rooms and ice machine. Building needs upgrades and repair.
Pros. The breakfast was awesome with eggs, waffles, cereal, juices, hot chocolate, fruit, bagels, muffins and probably more. Knocks $20+ off the price of the stay, in my opinion.
Cons. Check-in was a minor hassle because of Costco firing American Express and switching to CitiBank Visa cards. This resulted in the credit card I used to book the room earlier this year being denied when we attempted to check in. Apparently, our reservation was cancelled because we were not at the motel at 3:00 P.M. However, the receptionist was able to get approval to reinstate the reservation within 10-15 minutes and we enjoyed our stay.
Cons. Way over priced for cheap nasty motel.
Pros. Nice staff. Decent breakfast.
Cons. No elevator. Funny smell to room. Lumpy mattress. Place has a very old and worn feel to it.
