Everything Unbelievable good value for location and facilities. Ruendly owners and staff who could not do enough to make sure my stay was as good as it could be.
Excellent quite room as requested with a very comfortable bed Breakfast was also excellent and will definitely return should the need arise to stay in newcastle Exceptional value for money
Perfect little room if your going for a night out in Newcastle. Ideal for a small group of people to share a room and didn’t have any issue getting an Uber/ taxi to and from the destination we were heading to.
The breakfast was the best part of the stay
Had to change rooms because a noisy family with children and baby crying all night next door. No towel rail which was a bit odd. Had to store towel over the basin. When i changed rooms due to noisy family there was no body wash or shampoo dispensers in the new room shower. The bed had no fitted sheet, just a loose one and no mattress cover. The bar was full of boozy students every night so as a resident i felt confined to my room. The corridors smelt consistently of fried food like you get at the back of a chip shop or chinese. The room was very reasonably priced but there were better hotels on osborne road for the same price. Dont stay here unless you are under 25 and a student on a budget. It's more of a pub with rooms.the staff were helpful and friendly but they are selling a dog.
Bernie was great nothing too much trouble really helpful did what he could to sort out my work colleagues with accommodation even when he had no room.top bloke top digs.the bar was great too cheap as chips
