The queen room is tiny, thank goodness we are not big people. The bathroom is tiny. I also disliked their upsell to a bigger room for every person checking in if they were trying to get in before 3:00. They also have old electrical, switch blew in our room.
Beds were comfy. Based on reviews of other NYC hotels I was expecting a very small room. However, Sohotel was very roomy. Did not feel cramped at all with are 2 young adult kids rooming with us. Queen size beds a nice feature!
Was great! No complaints. If I was being picky, more room to hang clothes. But really we had plenty.
A very unique hotel, the history of the building is interesting, staff are all very helpful and friendly. Customer service here is outstanding! The room was a nice size lots of space, we stayed in a double queen room. The beds were comfortable and the best part was the heated bathroom floor - what a treat! Another wonderful treat was having a fridge in the room! This hotel has a lot of charm!
THE STAIRS - no where in any of my info did it say NO elevators. With asthma and a knee injury having to climb to the 4th floor was a bit of a challenge. We persevered, but it was the one thing we didn’t love.
Nice rooms, especially on the higher floors. Cool design. Good neighborhood with plenty of good places to go for breakfast or diner.
I like the location :)
The room is really small. If you're traveling with a companion I suggest you get a bigger room because we had a hard time opening our luggages on the floor because of the size of the room. :))
