Run down and decadent building. Only in New York can they charge so much and offer such a pathetic experience. In any other city, they wouldn't have been able to get away with murder so easily. Avoid it if you can!

Pros (+) Liked the location.
Cons (-) The hotel announced the lowest prices on several apps and sites like kayak, when you make the reservation, they charge you something called “facilities fee” or “resort fee”. It’s in violation of the new york’s unfair trade practices law. As the roon is the cheaper, cancellation is not refundable. IT’S a SCAM. Be aware.

Pros (+) Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and the complimentary breakfast was good.
Cons (-) There was no mini fridge in the room, but other than that everything was good.

Pros (+) The room was a very good value for the price, very clean, great staff, comfortable, great location, rooftop bar has an amazing view, good drink selection with low drink prices and just a cool little spot.
Cons (-) There was noisy construction next door going on 24 hours a day, the breakfast less than I expected and a continental breakfast not a hot breakfast.

Cons (-) the elevator beeps were very loud, and it also made grinding noises. My room was right across from the elevator, so it was annoying.
