I stayed for less than 24 hrs. The elevators were broke half the time, including when I needed to check out. I had to walk down the 19 floors with all my luggage. I fell and twisted my ankle. And when I finally got the to the staff seemed completely unconcerned.

The hotel has 27 floors and 2 elevators. Good luck getting anywhere, let alone your room - within 1/2 hour. Crowded lobby, broken shower door, falling curtains and no soap or shampoo in my room.

The hotel is well located close to the theater district, subways, restaurants, etc. Although the rooms are small, they are well appointed and comfortable. The staff is responsive and professional. The breakfast service is quite good and managed well. I had one problem with the toilette and I requested repair. It was a minor issue, but although it may have been addressed, the problem was not fixed ...

Pros (+) The location was good for Times Square. Walking distance to subway.
Cons (-) Room was extremely small. Dining area small and very crowded with not enough food out at one time. Not enough staff which made for longer wait times at the front desk. Elevator very slow.

Pros (+) Rooms are small (to be expected in NYC) but comfortable, and clean. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hot breakfast was very good, and there was a good variety of things from which to choose. It is located in close proximity of Times Square action, but just far enough off the beat and path for it to be quiet and a break from the hustle and bustle.

Pros (+) Clean and comfortable with helpful and efficient staff. Good value for the money. Elevators are tiny and slow and are shared with housekeeping. Plan time for trips up and down to your room accordingly. If you haven't been to NYC, rooms will seem small, but by NYC standards they are not.
