Large spacious room and bathroom, great bathroom products provided, luggage storage after check out.
The WiFi wasn't very reliable when moving throughout the room. Had to find a particular spot for it to work.
No coffee set out in morning.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The valet attendant helped us with our luggage. He was also very courteous.
For the price, I was disappointed that he room did not include a fridge and microwave. The A/C in the room barely kept the room cool. Also, the $30 per day for parking is a little steep.
The location was the best aspect of my stay.
My greeting, my room (furniture was stained, hair on my bed) , bathroom (fixtures on wall not secured) and dirty mirror.
Hotel Indigo New Orleans Garden District is a chain-run boutique-style hotel with a fun and quirky appeal. Unlike other chain hotels, this one offers a personality of its own with color. Thanks to the quiet Garden District location, Hotel Indigo primarily attracts couples and families who want convenient access to the attractions of the French Quarter without being right in the middle of them.
The Garden District of New Orleans is far more subdued than the French Quarter but still offers close access to restaurants and shops. The hotel is on St. Charles Avenue, a busy area with a convenient streetcar running along it. Guests can ride around town to sites such as the French Quarter, the Zoo, and Tulane University.
The Hotel Indigo New Orleans Garden District offers convenient amenities for guests such as a 24-hour fitness center with a range of machines, a restaurant and bar with an outdoor patio, a business center for meeting space, and free WiFi.
The rooms at the Hotel Indigo are well designed and impressively large. The colors that the hotel uses is what truly sets it apart from the competition, making every room special. The hotel features large, colorful murals above the beds that help energize the rooms and make them distinct, while the white bedspreads illuminate the space against the dark doors and floors. The Standard Double or King Rooms are spacious, and the King Executive Suite offers more space through a separate seating area. The Queen Suite is grand, with a separate living room and large bedroom that fits two queen beds footed with long leather ottomans and two indigo colored reading chairs.
As a quiet location on the edge of a bustling area, The Hotel Indigo New Orleans Garden District exceeds travelers’ expectations through uniqueness.
