The welcome was nice and warm, the room had a good size and there was a balcony (apparently with every room) that went to the parking lot. The room was equipped with a small, well equipped kitchen, so you could live there on a self-catering-basis. Breakfast (comprised in the price) was very good with a variety of food from salty to sweet. The selection of different bread was impressing. As this hotel is mainly chosen by elderly or sick people, who attend medical treatment in the nearby spa, the attention to the customers is remarkably good and fitted to the needs of elderly or impaired people, whereas the building facilities are not barrier-free. There are some quite interesting archeologic roman excavations and geologic sites and some good breweries nearby well worth visiting.
Walls are rather thin (so it could be, that you can hear your neighbor snoring). During my stay there was a building lot nearby and works began at 7 a.m. (But this fact is beyond the influence of the hotel!) The WiFi-connection with a "voucher" and a validity of seven days is _very_ poor and slow and complicated to handle. Once you shut down your computer you have to newly login with your 12 digit random username and your random password (i had thrown away my "voucher" and therefor was unable to check my mails for a second time). Strong recommendation to change the internet access-mode... The whole town/village consists more or less only of the medical spa and medical facilities and some hotels/golf clubs. There is no "normal" town-life there...
Friendly, clean, quiet area, free off-road parking, reliable internet. I travel a lot and having a little kitchen so I can just eat and relax. Lighting extremely good with overhead as well as table.
Room was excessively warm on arrival with no thermostat, although once I'd worked out how to left off the radiator cover and turn it off, it got better. I was surprised no washing-up liquid/sponge provided, and no microwave oven, - but with two burners and pots I could do soups.
Good hotel in close proximity to local therme
The hotel is situated just in front of the thermae, 10 steps and you're in! The room was large, comfortable and clean, with a little balcony which is good for relax in the evening before dinner. The lady at the reception was very kind and helpful, she gave us a discount for thermae included in the city tax. They also have a garage to recover the bicycles. An important advice: absolutely don't eat at the greek restaurant near the hotel, the worst ever!
