The Atlantis needs a make over. The facilities are dated and everything is so spread out it takes forever to get anywhere. The staff is friendly but on Bahamian time (no rush) so every meal is a 3 hour ordeal. The rooms & food are very expensive …. I’d rather stay in the US at a 5-star resort for the same price.
I understand it’s a nice resort so everything is going to be expensive but food was overly expensive. $15 for a large bottle of water at The Cove…that’s crazy.
Cons. Rude service. Unhelpful staff. Terrible value
Pros. The Cove at Atlantis is feat and has something for everyone. However, meals are pricy and there is a strong push to tip above the automatic 15% on every bill.
Pros. The lobby and the grounds are beautiful. The room is very pretty to look at but all of the mechanical systems broke down while we were there. Most of the staff is polite and friendly but their follow through is non existent.
Cons. No water pressure AT ALL, in the shower for 2 days. Then NO hot water in the shower and ittle pressure for the last 2 days. No air conditioning for a day.. All this for a 4 days stay. Elevators broken one afternoon. Very difficult to get water anywhere. All they say is " did you get your 2 free bottles in the room".. Couldn't even buy a bottle of water in the convenient store at the Royal towers.
Pros. Everything ...we loved everything about the Cove, the service was world class with the staff quickly memorizing our names and greeting us as such....every human comfort was there... we love the Cove and plan to revisit often.... breakfast room service was very good
Cons. Food selection was minimum and the crack conch at Mesa Grill was terrible .....
Pros. Very friendly staff! Kept room very tidy and clean. No body had their hand out for tips. Left them anyway. Great elevators. Quick and always available. Excellent security. Great view of the island and water.
Cons. Long wait on arrival to check in. Limited Wi-Fi. Lack of signs and directions. No quick or fast food places to eat. Slippery floors when raining on long walk to facilities. Limited selections in shops in hotel. Long waits for food at the bar and drinks were half size at double the price. Bottle of LaCrema Chardoney cost $150! Over priced for amenities. Everything costs extra including the gym! Now I know what all inclusive means in the Bahamas. ,Long wait on arrival to check in. Limited Wi-Fi. Lack of signs and directions.
