Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Very nice staff.
Bathrooms are pretty small. I wanted to use the room safe which had a default combo that is the room number. There should be a way to change the combo but there were no instructions and two staff members that I asked didn't know how to do it either. So the safe worked but with the combo being an obvious number, like the room number, it's not secure.
Good hotel with good location near Opryland and airport. Lots of restaurants nearby also.
Most rooms have outside doors, but access is only through the lobby. Regardless, when the weather turned cold and windy, the room temp was not comfortable. inside rooms face a very very noisy open-space centrum.
Expensive alternative at extremely well placed location
Price Free Parking location Great staff Meeting Refrigerator
Room was outside. Room was small The bathroom was small. You can hear sounds from outside and next door.
Beautiful but get an Exterior room
Absolutely beautiful, self-contained hotel with lots of shopping and restaurants. A short walk or shuttle ride the the Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills.
Rooms that face the interior are extremely noisy at night. I was there a Friday and Saturday night were events were occurring each night and the noise level was terrible. It seems like a good idea to have a room with a balcony overlooking the beautiful interior but DON'T DO IT if you want to get any sleep.
Location
My room had items needing maintenance: no outlet near bathroom that worked for hairdryer, rattle in the a/c, limited hot water. Additionally, this is a very LOUD hotel the way it is designed with an atrium
Very disappointed.
Not much
Indoor pool was beautiful but created excessive humidity which damped the sheets in our room. We had to request a different room because the first one had two double sized beds; this is not big enough for my husband and I to sleep in the same bed and we are not teenagers on a church youth group trip so we would like to be able to sleep in the same bed, of course! The room had an overwhelming smell of air freshener (which if it were actually clean, it wouldn't have needed). The comforter on the bed was white and crudely patched with a black poorly sewn patch right at the head of the bed. The restaurant was nothing special, neither the food nor atmosphere. The location was terrible! 15-20 minute Uber ride from downtown and not even walking distance from the The Grand Ole Opry. The amount we spent in Uber rides would have more than made up for high cost of staying at Opryland. We were very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel.
Old holidome
I liked the atrium area
I did not like the noise, rude staff, bad bed, small bathroom, etc.
very noisy
Staff was helpful
We checked into our room and immediately were hit with an intense smell of mold! We went to the front desk and they switched our room, the second room also smelled of mold. They switched us again and more mold! We checked out and were given a full refund. Staff was helpful but it's a shame they are working hard for a hotel that is unable to be occupied.
Musty odor in my room
Location feel safe here. A lot of homeless, feeling unsafe here. Aggressive homeless asking for money. Don't really care for the city unless you just want to get drunk.
Far from the city. Homeless everywhere and aggressively asking for money.
Clean. Beds were awesome. Obviously old motel but nice colors with renovation.
My door was 75ft from street. Could hear traffic all night. Shades are old and stiff to operate.
Very easy to access the Opryland hotel, shopping, and food. Easy to get to from all roads, and certainly easy to find from the highway.
The beds were way to soft. Is a personal thing really. Also I think that the outside facing rooms should not cost add much add the inside. You have less security, and for a family or group of unsuspecting guests that could be disastrous.
