Pros: Upgraded 3 out of our 5 rooms booked, thank you! Breakfast was a mix of Chinese style porridge with pickles, veg, fried eggs, pork floss as well as toast with jam n choc spread, complete with tea, coffee, soy milk. Yummy!

Pros: Everything was great! This place worth a stay. The host here is Super friendly and helpful. Going extra mile for their customers. They help me to do laundry even when they don’t need to! They provide suggestions to places to go if you don’t have any ideas where to go! Room were big. Everything is so so good!

Cons: For the house with 2 rooms, common bathroom basin was leaking from the back when the tap was turned on. We checked in late and stayed for only one night so did not bother to bring up the issue with the owner.

Pros: You can purchase your boat tickets at the front desk. Great location surrounded by food and gifts. There is a restaurant across the street that has been family owned and operated for 44 years now. Very friendly.

Pros: In contrast to the area around it, Skylight B&B was a modern haven with 5 star amenities. The room was clean, spacious and had a large hot tub (wow!!!) which we enjoyed soaking in after a long day. We were fortunate to have a magnificent view of the lake from our room but even guests without it could enjoy the view from the breakfast area. Skylight B&B is located in Ita Thao and right in the heart of the night market. We loved the laid back vibe of the place with delicious street eats and even an aboriginal performance on the pier which was just down the street (1 min walk). It is from this pier that you can take a ferry to other parts of the lake. Skylight B&B is also a short walk (10 min) from the ropeway/gondola. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we were to return to Sun Moon Lake, we’re so happy to have found it.

Pros: The room was exactly as advertised. It had everything we needed. We didn’t have a breakfast at B&B. My assumption that due to the low season, only few rooms were occupied during our stay, so the B&B didn’t serve breakfast on the 8th floor, but rather provided us with the voucher to use at the restaurant in the hotel near by. It was a buffet type, lots of selection, excellent quality.

Some minutes to walk from bus stop, small shops, Restaurants and bicycle rental service nearby. Lake is in the other side of the small street :). Staff ist friendly as well.

Cons: Cleanliness was not meet my expectations When first arrive it looks nice but when you live with it you will notice planty of dirty spots. The most unacceptable is bathroom. And they dont clean it daily so I spend 3 night there without trash out or any cleaning.

Cons: Yuchi and Sun Moon Lake are somewhat overcrowded and maybe not worth it for everybody (lakes around the Alpes are far more interesting). But this is hardly Shuei She Sea B&B’s fault...
