Nags Head motels

Pros: Great location for the price, great staff and just a great room.

Cons: Parking was difficult but nothing that was major

Cons: Frig froze milk, gas stove no lighters, sink no stopper, no ac in bed rooms, drained pool on 2nd day of our stay, no maid service, had to ask for to and towels twice. In 4 days, never once changed sheets

Pros: Location was great. It is right on the beach if you get one of the rooms that face it. Walk out your door and there it is. Nice spot is there to sit and watch the fishing pier and waves crashing. Gorgeous view.

Cons: I would recommend trying to get a dresser in the room. We stayed in a room that did not have one. However, when we where there, the window in our room leaked during a storm and flooded the floor. The staff was very accommodating in moving us to a different room, and it did have a dresser. If you are a fisherman, this hotel is the best for you. I wouldn't really recommend it for a couple trying to get away for any kind of romantic weekend unless you fish. I will say that the King size beds are extremely comfortable.

Pros: Wonderful location right on the beach and within walking distance to great restaurants. Anka made check in delightful. She made sure to give us dog cookies for our two pups.

Pros: I left a valuable necklace and the staff found it, called me and mailed it to me. The receptionist Joyce was helpful and gave a great recommendation for dinner! Definitely going back. The beach access was perfect.

Pros: The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. The location was ok. The rooms were very clean. They gave plenty of toiletries.

Cons: First was shocked at the location. They are right beside of pier, but the way the pictures on the web show is that you are beachfront and looking at the pier from your room. No, there is actually other buildings between you and the beach. The place is old and while it looks like they have updated the floors everything else is old. The oven was an ancient gas small unit you had to get on the floor and light the pilot light every time. The stove tops had to be lit with a lighter. There was no lighter in the room but the front dak lady brought us one. Also had to get her to find me a can opener that worked. They advertise new flatscreens in all rooms. They have them but only one bedroom actually had cable that worked. One room had 8 channels and the living room only worked on analog that was like antenna in a windstorm. The air conditioning unit is only in the living room area so you have to keep the bedroom doors open to have air/heat. The furniture in the living and dining area is probably from the 60s. It’s terribly uncomfortable and we didn’t dare pull the bed out on the sleeper sofa.

Cons: The toilet and shower were clogged. We arrived and showered in a puddle late and the next day they plunged the shower and caused sewage to come up into the shower. Had to move to another hotel, no consessions just 50% off to come back. Not going back.
