The morning staff was attentive
The room had been remodeled not to long ago. The vent for the bathroom feel off in the middle of the night, fifty percent of the towels were dirty before hand. The heating/AC system was a joke..... The breakfast had zero fruit.
I was not able to stay and the hotel charged me a full nite rate for a penalty. I cancelled within an hour of making my reservation. The staff was unwilling to work with me on rescheduling the date.

Stained furniture. Couple of guys out in parking lot in a vehicle smoking(?) for almost 3 hours with their headlights on right in front of our car. Did not feel safe. Seemed odd. We were there on a Fri. night. Traffic around the hotel was very heavy. Busy corner - but good access to hwy.

Great location- close to restaurants, shopping, and interstate. Overall, the room was nice and clean. There was a good variety of breakfast items. Common areas were well-maintained.
Sink and bathtub didn't drain well, mildew on sink hardware, ripped pillow, exterior updates would be beneficial, the hotel manager at check-in was horribly rude about us needing to check in early. For the star rating and the price, this was a good hotel, overall. There is nothing fancy about it but, as a young couple needing a decent place to stay for an out-of-town wedding (2 nights), it suited our needs well. My biggest complaint is the manager at check-in. My husband called in advance to ask if we could check in at 1:30 instead of 3:00 because we had to get ready for the wedding. The employee told him on the phone that it was no problem and it would be ready for us at 1:30. When we got there, the manager was rude and refused to even look up our reservation and check to see if our room was ready. He insisted that no one promised us an early check-in time because they only do that be request. Then, he said that we must have made the request through kayak.com since we booked through that website. Neither of those is true; the bottom line is that his employee promised us an early check-in time and he was refusing to honor that. Instead of simply checking on our room (which was ready, by the way-- we found that out when he radioed one of the cleaning ladies) and trying to accommodate us, he was very rude and blamed the whole misunderstanding/miscommunication on us. After that kind of treatment, we will never stay there again.

The door to my room was facing the highway and there was a small gap between it and the doorframe, so it let in a lot of noise from the highway.

The room was sub par the bed, dresser and bathroom area were all outdated. You get what you pay for. This wasnt a deal. It was a cheap motel room. Ive had better. Wont be back. Wouldnt have stayed if we had children with us. It was an extremely last minute trip and with better planning we surely would have stayed elsewhere.
