Staff was friendly, plenty of parking
Found a piece of dog food on the floor. the door looked like it had been pryed open
Generally acceptable but lots of room for improvement
If was in the general area I needed to stay.
The rooms were dirty and not cleaned well. The front desk staff was absent when I arrived and after 15 minutes of ringing the bell for service I had to call directly and tell them I was at the front desk.
Room was great
Room appeared updated. Bed was very comfortable with a pillow top.
Libby area and carpeting look very dated. Breakfast options were minimal. Shower water pressure left much to be desired.
Too run down for the price
It was affordable
I wish I had sent just a little more for a better place. This place was way more shabby than I had expected
The lady that checked me in was super nice
There were bed bugs that I found in the morning on the bed and inside the towels in the bathroom. There was a pizza crust under the bed. There was dust coming out of the heater.
I have bites everywhere. I think people were using drugs in other rooms. The staff was rude watched one girl smoke a cigarette before she answered the front desk. Another staff member wasn't helpful when trying to confirm my reservations.
Room smelled moldy Room needed a lot of upkeep (paint, missing all the floor boards in the bathroom etc) Front desk staff was slow and not helpful
Internet did not work. They tried re booting the router to no avail Person at front desk seemed clueless and at one point was non existent when people were waiting to check in. It is possible she was the only one on staff at that time
The style of the room is in running with a room in a luxury hotel.
The foyer was fine and clean when you walked in. Staff was just okay not overly helpful. The room was just okay, the bed was comfortable but that was about all that was good.
Bathroom was not clean looking (Not sure if it was). There was a hole in the wall near the bottom of the tub, the air conditioning made rattling noise when running, and the breakfast was horrible. I am used to staying at Fairfield across the road and the rooms are much nicer and the breakfast is good for the money. Both places hike up the fees for parents weekend and if they are going to charge more for the same room they should be sure the room is worth the price. I won't stay here again.
Not sure why they were accepting reservations. Parking lot full of old furniture and mattresses. Back door unlockrd at midnight. Anyone could walk in. Drilling going on in the am on both sides of room.
Pleasantly Surprised/ Do not listen to all the neg
The staff was courteous and willing to go the distance to make sure our stay was pleasant. The location was great! the continental breakfast was a better than the norm, with hot bisquits and gravy, instead of the normal waffle thing. The hot oatmeal already prepared was nice. The maids ervice was thorough. Michael was very accommodating and guest oriented. Based on the reviews I read, I was expecting another nightmare like the one we had the week before at Howard Johnsons in Lakeland, Fla, but I was pleasantly surprised at this place. It was well worth the Money..
The place is undergoing renovations so we had to switch rooms a couple of time when we first got there, but it was not a big deal.
